haha. So i made a track for awon boys. Some of my voice gets drowned out by the beat, but I tried as best as i could to make it audible. I just don't have the technical know-how to make it sound crisp.

For example, my mum cooks better than your mother, or my father's is more hard-working than yours etc are just silly discussion. This kind of thread is one of them. Same goes for all those "who is better Biggie Or Pac" type of question.

At the end, you hardly convince anyone - what is the point?

What you call baseless bickering, is a major part of hiphop on online forums.
One person says this, the other person says why he thinks his opinion should be taken into consideration.

At the end of the day we influence the lay reader to pick who we think is better after weighing points from both sides.
It helps contemporary African music.

k16 is not a punchline rapper. . . .does he have to be? . . . . .i don't think it can be expected for all rappers to drop punchlines. . . . .if that was the case it would be a bit boring. . . . . wouldn't it?.

However, the good things about punchlines is that it make writers think more creatively but sometimes they overdo it. . . . .  please look at this thread. . . .so many examples of silly writing all in the effort to write a punchline

i agree[b] and[/b] disagree with ur post. the market place is big enough BUT sometimes, especially in hip hop a diss record is very much needed. Although in Nigeria it seems that everybody is jumping on the dissing bandwagon. It does suck when its done for no apparent reason or strictly for attention.

I hope Mode9 doesn't diss RM again on the new album cos that would be lame. RM has already waved the white flag after Deathblow so another track is pointless. It could even have a negative effect on his album.
