Christianity Etc › Re: Are Muslims And Christians Serving The Same God? by RapLawd(m): 9:59am On Jan 04, 2018 |
bahaushe1: Welcome back. I hope you are doing well.
I am glad you acknowledged the fact that Bible is not divine but a collection of works by Jesus (pbuh) disciples inspired by 'holy spirit '.
Surprisingly, the concept of holy spirit inspiring people was limited to only Prophets and Messengers of God during the old testament era. Isn't it strange that according to Christians God dicided to 'inspire' disciples instead of Prophets? There is always consistency in whatever God does. Inspiration of divine books is only to Messengers and Prophets of God and none of the disciples was one.
The Gospel written by those disciples is therefore not divine but work by human beings who had interacted with a Messenger of God.
John 14:26 is a confirmation of what Muslims have been saying. Who could this comforter or helper or counselor be? It couldn't be holy spirit because holy spirit existed even before the coming of Jesus - Ps. 51:11. The counselor referred to is Muhammad (pbuh) for he and the Quran he brought are spirits of truth that will remain with us forever. Every Messenger foretold the coming of the next to his people. Moses foretold his people about Jesus, Jesus foretold his people about Muhammad (pbuh), and Muhammad (pbuh) told his people that there will be no more Prophet or Messenger from God after him.
Throughout the conversation Jesus had with his disciples after the last super, there was no mention of 'death' and 'resurrection'. He kept on telling them he was going to his father. And this is exactly what Quran says: God took Jesus to heaven and transferred his semblance to another person whom they killed. And by the way none of the disciples was there when Jesus was 'killed', they all runaway. Are you not ashamed of all this nonsense you have been typing? i have some questions for you please. 1~you claims that the gospel was revealed/given to Jesus, And yet you still insinuat that Jesus did not write any book, nor did he or God authorised the disciples to author any on his behalf, so please where is the original gospel that was given? 2~when,where and how did all this names that you have been cooking up as prophets came to be,cus there aint a way that ishmael/ismail can be clasified a prophet, but no place other than the koran and indeed,in islam and to muslims,,, 3~tell me what makes muhamed a prophet of Almighty God the creator of the universe, the God Of Abraham And Other Prophets And 'notable' Figures Of The Jewish History |

Hello Nairalanders,
I'm going to make this short by just saying the simplest truth and the only fact why there're Eze Ndi Igbo in diaspora...
Yes, we have Eze Ndi Igbo all over the world, wherever we are,we have a king!!!,how does it sound? I guess pathetic and chest beating right? Or you can call it bit of arrogance, who cares?...
So down to business,
Eze Ndi Igbo in diaspora is not the same as the Eze in any part of Igbo land, So thus does not carry any royal significant and can't be of any authority other than representing the Igbo community that he heads in another man's territory, he thus is answerable to any indigenous ruler of his host, but while at it, is to be accorded some respect for the sake of those he represents...
So you see, Eze Ndi Igbo in diaspora is political and anyone can emerge as the title bearer but by no means is he of any special value in Igbo land, he is the one that charters any cause for his people and also speaks for his people to his ruler host!.
But what I donxt get is why people speak ill of Igbo people for having such in diaspora and within Nigeria and we do have such in farer nations without any fuss from the host countries, it's only in Nigeria that you here such like "Eze Ndi Igbo In Yoruba land is illegal" " Ndi Igbo can't have a leader in Hausa land because it a taboo",all this why there are Nigeria, Igbo,Hausa,Yoruba, and other tribal communities beyond our borders...
You guys should stop saying Igbos this and that in another man's land cus no Igbo man is going to be installed as Ooni Of Ife or Emir Of Kano!!! |

I wrote that here many times but they never believed me; time has proved me right. You're wrong... Are you not even ashamed that you're typing this? Igbos don't abandon their own... I really wanted to see you and your kinds protesting against KANU and his style of agitation... But till date I'm in waiting!!! You guys shouldn't get me waiting too long and later be disappointed |

daxlasaint: My dear... go back and read my comments again... i have nothing but respect for igbos and their legitimate struggle for independence... what i am in opposition of is the fact that certain biafran agitators want to by the use of sheer force assimilate us the non igbos- non easterners into the proposed biafra.... i have not used any derogatory words to make my view known so it must really be an issue of you assuming my not wanting to be part of biafra means am anti igbo.... this is not and has never been true. Am sorry if i gave you reasons to think otherwise.
BTW... asking if we were consulted during the amalagmation is making my exact point for me.... it was wrong then as it would be wrong now to fold non biafrans into biafra without their explicit consent.... And by so seeking your consent, IPOB leaders should register on Nairaland to have e-meeting with you guys shey There are things that matters and some don't, buy even to some, the don'ts does to them... All you will ask for is for a free and fair referendum in your Uhrobo nation but be well fortified to withstand the outcome of the referendum... We no wan hear another headline of Otapiapia merciless killings... Good Day!!! |

Disaino: well u are right,,bt d way Nnamdi kanu went about it was absolutely wrong, dat's nt d best tin to do... I thought so, but do Nigeria as a nation heeds to Anti-Kanu way of doing things? No hate speeches? No bashing of the FG?, No revelation of underground rot in the system You lot just don't get the drill, Kanu living in a saner enclave beyond Nigeria is in much and in most knowledgeable of what he's doing and what hell he's about to unleash to himself, he knows the cons pros of all his dids and actions more than anybody will ever think of... Firstly, ask yourself, is he ignorant of international laws and also lack the knowledge of what Nigeria's constitution says about his actions?... Just relax and take a closer look on all the pictures taken while he's being paraded or been brought to court, tell me, does he look confused? Tired? Frightened?emotionally down? Does he appear weak or helpless?...in as much as I don't know anything underground, I can tell you with facts that whatever is taking place today surrounding Kanu is all part of his plan... imagine @ his age and he can boast of vast followership, is there any Nigerian both dead or alive that ever pulled the kind of crowd that his arrest generated? I bet none!... Kanu, believe me, is holding the FG at the right balls if not the two, I pray that things won't go beyond repair before the FG takes or make the right move... |

Sacluxpaint: Did u mention ignorance? Omo if my ignorance is knowing that Jesus Christ died for me to live. I rather remain ignorant than to follow Roman paganism. And again you humble yourself before God not man, upon after all the confession you will still be hoping for purgatory instead of heaven. Be free my brother. My advice is for you to pray to understand the scripture and seek Jesus in truth and in spirit. Peace. Were you truly a Catholic Hoping for purgatory instead of heaven? Is that all you've got? |

There are great bible teaching Churches : The Lord's Chosen , Deeper Life , The Living Faith and some other good ones . I suggest she goes to these three if she she wants her problems solved though . Which Bible? The one brought to you but Catholic? Guy, stop being mischievous, if there're any church that teaches Christ the way it should be, it's the Catholic church!!!. The church is organised, standard and the Same all over the globe!!! We Catholic teaches Christ and all that he commanded not all that "Ye shall not die,Ye shall be rich churches " |
