I was opportuned to school in eastern Nigeria, and I worked in the east for some years before moving out to further my studies. These are what I observed about Igbo girls in relationships. There could be exceptions, don't get me wrong, but I am looking at very common observable traits that I took time to study overtime.

1. Igbo girls from average or middle-class families hardly perform wifely duties for you if you are dating them as a guy. Don't expect them to cook for you, clean your house, wash your clothes, etc if you have not traditionally paid bride price on their head. They will only do these things when you have fulfilled the customary obligations.

2. Igbo girls from average or middle-class families are likely not to take in and give you a child when you have not paid their bride price. If they do, the child will not be yours. The child will bear the name of his or her maternal grandfather, and not your name as the biological father.

3. Igbo girls from average or middle-class families have a high level of pride. In fact, the level of pride they have cannot be compared in any way to what I have seen in women from other parts of Nigeria.

4. If they don't like you, they will make it open to you that they don't like you. They would rather let you know that they don't like you, than allowing you spend on them in pretence that they like you. With this, you as the man will find your way quickly, knowing fully well that you are not liked.

5. They love to be pampered. They love the good life. Bros, if your hand nor reach, comot body sharp sharp make you nor go get high blood pressure.
