I have always believed that the biggest problem we face is not hunger, poverty or economic issues but our leaders being not innovative or finding creative ways to solve our problems
I strongly believe that until the Local Governments become economic drivers of the Economy, we are just going round in circles
This report clearly justifies what some of us have believed, that the country is not producing enough food fo the populace and commercial use
I suggested on a previous thread that the 774 local governments should be encouraged to own Farm settlements operated or either by lease to small scale farmers or private corporations
The states should provide logistics to evacuate the farm products, infrastructure and Security for this settlements
The Federal Government will create Silos in each Senatorial Districts and will be a buyer of last resort to this farmers

Imagine if each local government took up crops which can thrive in their locality and get the people back to work,it will be a matter of time before we create Wealth across the Land
This type of wealth is sustainable because it is from bottom to the top and not the other way round
The Local Governments will be encouraged to compete against themselves and the best Agricultural friendly LGA will be given awards and Cash grants
I believe that in every problems, there are workable solutions but it seems in Nigeria we have a way of turning simple problems into hard mountains of solutions that can never be resolved

This will work in theory, in reality the money is more likely to be stolen or padded.

Lagos, abuja and I think enugu are viable.

This is a warning to state governors who keep building vanity projects like airport and stadiums.

If you state don't have the economic stamina to demand an airport please for the love of Gid, don't build it.

ALL THESE AORPORTS ARE NOT ECONOMICAL VIABLE
President Muhammadu Buhari International Airport, Onueke in Ebonyi State.
It was commissioned last month by the outgoing State Governor Engr. David Umahi at the sum of N36 billion.
The Anambra Cargo Airport which cost N10 billion
The Bayelsa International Airport which cost N70 billion
The Ekiti cargo airport cost N20 billion and is uncompleted.
The Ibom Airport cost N25 billion.
The Abia Airport which cost N40 billion and is currently abandoned.
And the MKO Abiola International Airport in Osun State which cost N40 billion and is uncompleted.
Others are Ogun Cargo International Airport which cost N40 billion, Lafia Airport cost N40 billion (uncompleted), Wachakal Airport, Damaturu; N18 billion (uncompleted), Auchi Airport, Edo State and Dutse International Airport, Jigawa; N20 billion.

Go and hire a bulldozer and remove that airport. If you can’t, stop complaining.

The hospital in remote area you’re complaining of, people have taken up jobs as lecturers and doctors, nurses, pharmacists and live in the accomodation provided there, while you keep complaining.

Like I said, go and pull down that airport and hospital, or keep salivating in your mouth with hatred.

Hatred for what, a vanity hospital in the middle of nowhere, half of ebonyians can't reach

Misplaced priorities....
This happens when governor embarks on project to get "Public Praise" instead of developing the people and enhancing, maintaining and improving on the current infrastructure in the state...

As a governor all you need is provide good education, healthcare, transportation and security and the rest will be done by the citizens. But those things are not tangible, you can't point to good health care and say you are doing well, but you can point to a flyover that nobody wants and the people will call Mr. Project.

Big fat lie. There has been to and fro flights since the airport commenced operation last month. Do ur fact check well

To and fro flights to a distant airport in a region surrounded by bigger airports won't return money to the state.

Only lagos and abuja airport are profitable, the rest are dead weights on FG

This is what happens when you elect a governor that only cares about infrastructure only. He will be building one vanity project upon another.

A good governor should invest in education, health care, good transport and security, but because those things are not tangible or easily seen, they don't do it.instead they build flyovers, bridges, airports, universities that will sit empty and massive roads.

This is why many Nigerians thinks wike and umahi were good governors, because of the flyover and bridges they built.

Umahi built a college of medicine hospital in the middle of know where and people of ebonyi hailed him. Yesterday he said he is building a supersonic highway to connect lagos and abuja in 4 hours, another vanity project is loading.

Las Las una go dey alright 👍

Are you aware that Ukraine is in the war for profit and nothing else? Do you know that Zelensky, the president of Ukraine hates Christians and Christian activities? Do you also know that the West is pushing and sustaining this war because of their love for blood money?
Nothing in the Ukraine war points to the hand of God in it. The war is a making of the USA and its allies, period.
Come to think of it, when people say Ukraine will win the war I ask them on whose soil is the war being fought right now. Whose infrastructure is being destroyed right now? Who has lost innocent women, children and the elderly the most? Even if Russia pull out of the war today they do so as the winners because not even a building in Russia is affected by the war. What is happening now is the warmongers (contractors who benefit from the effect of war) are the ones nudging the eggheaded Zelensky on. It will take Ukraine decades to rebuild what they have lost thru self-sabotage and Russian bombings.

Hating Christians is not a bad thing, I'm a Christian and I hate my religion

Anyone who believes Yevgeny Prigozhin has not been following the war, the person has perhaps been open to the West propaganda only. Just when the West said Bakhmut would take months to fall, Yevgeny Prigozhin came out to attack Russian Army, claiming they were not given ammunitions to fight, that they only received 30% of what they demanded. In just 3 days after his statement, no evidence to what as they ramped up the remaining sweeping of Bakhmut, and Bakhmut fell. Yevgeny Prigozhin is feeding the West what they truly wish to happen. In April, same Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed he wants to become the President of Russia. Even the West would not believe shit, but only feed this to the ignorant media. Just recently, about 30k Wagnarian returned home after fighting for several months. Shoigu had asked the Wagnarian to sign a contracts few weeks ago, but Prigozhi declined to that, stating his order does not apply to his men. He had in a separate video said Shoigu cannot handle military formation. In all of these speeches by Yevgeny Prigozhin, Putin, nor his defence men had ever responded, but the West feeds on this to push a narrative. On telegram channel, evidence of Ukrainian soldiers death and mass destruction s of their Western tanks and MAVs are evident, and Russia has turned the tide to go on another meat-grinding just like in Bakhnut, just as the highly promoted Ukrainian offensive has stalled amidst massive lost. Zelensky just about 48hrs ago called for another mass recruitment/enlsitment amidst depleted formation especially conscripts.

Story for the gods, your putin is fighting an invasion from his own people

🇷🇺 Russia's President Putin has shown African leaders an agreed-upon draft agreement between Russia and Ukraine in March 2022.

The agreement puts regulations on Ukraine's armed forces and states that Ukraine must adopt permanent neutrality.

Putin says that Russia withdrew troops from Kyiv and Chernihiv in accordance with the treaty. However, after that happened Ukraine "on the orders of Washington, threw this treaty into the dustbin of history."

How delusional are you.

Putin invaded Ukraine, but is the one setting up a peace summit and asking Ukraine to adopt a permanent neutrality.
Let me force my way into your house, then tell you to adopt a permanent neutrality.
