GCC is the external consultant to conduct the recruitment exercise on behalf of TOTAL.

This is a general survey and will not form part of the screening process. Take your time to complete the form.

The closing date for applications is July 12th.

Best of luck!

For local applicants, everything before July 12 should be considered noise.

I don't think so. This is not NNPC.

Do you think Nigerian graduates applying to Total now would not be up to 20,000 and he would not be getting his own one thousand competitors. At this application stage, every applicant is still your competitor.

You have nothing less than a thousand competitors for your role. Still wanna know more? Just focus on working hard and praying.

I just called WES now because of this argument and the lady made me understand that the ECA evaluation package comes with the ICAP advantage automatically. This means that WES will store my verified transcripts in their database for life.

So if i want to upgrade to a course by course evaluation, i will pay 100cad after now and my evaluation will be upgraded but that WES can ask for my WAEC if i have not submitted previously.

She also said i should not have sent the scratch card as WAEC is still required to verify the results by email before WES can accept it. Its like the scratch card policy has not been finetuned.

@ Canadianxmas. After an upgrade to course by course, normally the system would require all docs - previous certificates and transcripts would be listed as awaiting. All you need to do is send a mail through the "contact us" quoting your previous reference number, where your docs have been stored, requesting for the docs to be attached to your new upgrade. You can also put a call across to ensure it is done without delay. Remember, you'd be required to add waec since it's a new policy and scratch card doesn't replace verification mail from waec yet.

Anyone in the shoes of waiting for waec to reply WES verification email? How long could this take cos mine is getting to two weeks already since WES placed me on hold for my ECA?

Okay boss...

You can share it here if you want...

I could send my CV to you if you could help. I have a book chapter and two review submissions on some metal oxide nanomaterial synthesis for photocatalytic applications. I would be glad to discuss my proposed research interest and idea in private.

Thanks bro, I was just estimating 20 for UofS only. I would mail only those with similar research interest as well as program coordinators for suggestions. My change of strategy might complement my effort. I understand it will be hard to get just anyone out there to refer me but that should not stop me from seeking. Thanks once again bro

Cheers

Hello boss,

I understand how you feel. But you still have to keep mailing. Send a gentle reminder to those who are yet to respond. And find new ones. Spread your net beyond Canada too if need be.

It is going to be difficult for anyone to introduce you to any professor especially when no one has an idea of how good you are.

Keep on trying, you will surely get one.

Peace...

Thanks bro, I will not give up as my mailing continues. In between, I am presently pursuing PhD and would be glad to share my full profile with anyone. If I am expecting a professor to pick an interest, then I should be able to convince anyone referring me first.

Hello house, please I need anyone who could help refer me in person to any professor interested in research on "pollution degradation and water treatment". I am a chemical engineer and had masters in areas relating to energy and environment. Mailing has been yielding few responses and not as adequate. I am aware that many professors are usually busy and would not respond to all their emails. A brief introduction would suffice to get the attention I need. I would be glad to get anyone's help in this regard.

@wealth360, I emailed up to 20 environmental researchers in UofS. Please could you help me.

Wes sent my document for verification since 17th of March, I was able to affirm it has been received by the registrar department but what has been delaying it from gettn to the pg schl where my contact would package and send back to Wes is the major problem now. Wes sent photocopies to lautech, my contact confirmed to me dat is how dey deal. They dont deal via E-mail. If that is the modus operandi for pg schl den ofcos xpect nothin less for Bsc.

Thanks.
Really appreciate your response. Thank you very much.

If you really understand what an Independent Sovereignty should be in terms of foreign policy and relationship, much importantly, protecting it's citizens all over the world. The vacuum of MTN would be filled so fast by that potential giant competitor for the private telecoms, which was prematurely killed by conspiracy. MTEL would come back to provide the best and affordable telecom services to us all. We would do more good to ourselves as a Nation to let our money stay in our country. What do you think about this?

Why do we have the word "united" in the name of countries like US and UK. Even the old Chinese emperor knew what benefit would be made from uniting all the lands and their languages to make the land called "China". I have been to the Biafran states in this nation and I could only question, "Despite the relatively excessive state allocation given over the years to their state leaders compared to many states in the south-western part, why are the Biafran youths so quiet and contented if they were conscious of the liberation movement they fought?". Are we treating our ailment with the appropriate medicine? I could not help but envy that "great" killer in Ghana.... angry
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Addax Retrenches Over 90% Of Its Contract Staff by rasaqdayo: 9:12pm On Mar 04, 2015
I do question so many times if we the Nigerian youth really understand our problem? Certificates doesn't imply literacy. Maybe we need to revisit the meaning of education so we could determine if we are really educated. A well exposed and informed youth would be less sentimental on issues affecting this nation presently. You will understand the nation is worth crying for if you have ever lived outside this nation especially in the Europe or Asia.

New draw made yesterday and cut-off point was 735, just a week after the last draw of 808 cut off point. It's really worth planning adequately, and be sure you are prepared with everything, before swimming in this pool.

You must probably have to work on your IELTS. Your years of work experience is a bit low but you can't help that. You also have to look at being nominated by a province/territory to bolster your chance.
Yeah, I will definitely have to score higher next time. I almost considered "Enquiry on Result" from BC on my writing section but I wasn't encouraged to do that since it will require time and financial implications. Thanks once again "brother from another nation". cool

You are still missing the point. You are calculating using the old grid. Please use this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp
I am really grateful for the link. It eases the task of eligible candidates. Unfortunately, the result determined I was ineligible. I am in a dilemma @Solomonwis.

Your score points under Express Entry couldn't have been 66! You most probably didn't calculate well or you didn't make use of the right tool.

Please use this tool (link) to calculate your score points http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-tool.asp
Really appreciate the prompt response @Solomonwis. My breakdown on the language score earned me just 20points.
S 7 - CLB 9 - 6points
L 7 - CLB 6 - 4points
R 8 - CLB 9 - 6points
W 6 - CLB 6- 4points
Language points = 20 points
Education (MSc.)= 23 points
Age (18-35years)= 12 points
Experience (2-3yrs)= 11 points
Total points for EE = 66 points
I realized there wasn't any grid for 3-4 yrs while 13 points was awarded for 4-5yrs experience. While Nova Scotia awarded 12points for 3 years experience. I wish the EE has 3-4 yrs grid as 12pts.

I was really amazed after reading through this thread that the gurus here are offering professional answers to queries selflessly while lots of immigration services out there would charge for such. Thanks to you all.
I would like to seek your recommendation on the options of immigrating to work in Canada based on my profile.
Age - 27
Education - B.Tech (Chem. Eng.),M.Sc ( Energy Studies)
Work Experience - 3 yr 3m (Plant Engr - Manufacturing)
IELTS - 7.0 (W 6, S 7, L 7, R 8 )

I am waiting for WES presently. I am aware that my occupation is regulated and would require a license. After some research, I believe Nova Scotia Engineer Association could assess and process an EIT probably in 3 months while APEGS (Sask) claimed that applications could take a year. That I believe would enable me to apply for NSPNP this year.
While I calculated my points as 67 for NSPNP, it is just 66 under CIC Express Entry because of a point difference in the work experience grid point between the two programs. I will humbly seek any correction, if any, in my calculation and advice on my application. I don't mind suggestions on other provincial programs. Thanks in advance.

Jonathanians, except being partisan, it's really at this time we will understand the meaning of DOGMATISM - dogmatism is a way of thinking that is stubborn and narrow-minded, often because of prejudice and bigotry.

I really wonder why the word has nothing related to dogs. Still at this level....smh.

Well, it's very unfortunate that the content of this advert depicts elements of cajoling.
Assuming this is true, why must I go overseas for Internship while I want to be absorbed locally? The money spent on my travel could be paid to me while I do my internship in the local organization itself....smh for Nigerian Government. So sad that we are still at this stage.

N.B. Don't even start asking for links to apply, since the advert never contained any link. It is as good as a promise of a politician.
