Salami's hand are so soiled in corruption and Tinubu's bribes

See another link:

"When a motion was raised, because we were talking about jurisdiction, they went ahead to try him in a Lagos High Court. Of course, you know the influence of Tinubu in Lagos. I am not saying Tinubu interfered with the Judiciary. But I am saying that the influence of Tinubu in Lagos and the two of then are not political pals. But when the case went to the Court of Appeal, again we met Justice Salami, we met him. I am saying it clearly, Chidi, we met Justice Salami(emphasis). There was one woman again, Ogunbiyi, who also featured prominently in the tribunal at Ibadan. So, immediately we landed at the Court of Appeal, and we heard that Salami was there I just told our friend not to expect much. Bode George was a political prisoner; a victim of the viciousness of politics in Nigeria"

Didnt IBB describe himself as the evil ingenioushuh

BTW,the way the US diplomats described OPC really cracked me up

These partisans alleged an association between Vice President Atiku, Lagos Governor Tinubu and Al-Qaeda. According to Damachi, the PDP members told him the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), a loose and curious amalgam of some Yoruba politicians, street thugs, and other ne’er-do-wells, founded in the late 1990s, had received funding from Al-Qaeda.
Truth be told,I've never heard of a more fitting description of the OPC

Wikileaks: IBB Links Tinubu, Atiku, OPC With Al-Qaeda, To Realise His Presidential Ambition

Wikileaks, the anti-secret website has revealed the extent political office seekers can go to damage one another, in order to achieve their political objective. In one such move, an aide to former military president, Ibrahim Babangida, made allegations before the American Consular General that former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former Lagos governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and even the Odua Peoples’Congress had links with the terrorist organisation, Al-Qaeda.

The lies were apparently told in order to get America’s support for Babangida’s presidential ambition then. The American Consular noted in the cable dated 13 August 2005 that it should be taken as an effort to damage political opponents’ reputations. The cable read in part:

S E C R E T Section 01 Of 02 Lagos 001277

Subject: Nigeria: Reported Al Qa’ida Activity

Classified By: Consul General Brian Browne for reasons 1.4(b) and (d)

1. (S) Summary. Professor Ukandi Damachi, a long-time Mission contact and close advisor to former head-of-state Ibrahim Babangida, recently told us about a chance encounter he had with pro-Obasanjo members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)executive. The PDP official claimed both Vice President Atiku and Lagos Governor Tinubu were involved in this transaction, which was intended to finance the OPC destabilization of southern Nigeria. Damachi maintained the PDP members said President Obasanjo was aware of these events. Vice President Atiku and Governor Tinubu, both in Obasanjo’s doghouse, have been long-time allies and are in ongoing discussions about forming a presidential ticket for the 2007 elections. This information has not/not been corroborated and may be intended to shape USG thinking on Nigeria’s presidential aspirants. End Summary.

Well I wont bandy words or argue needlessly with you(no time),but Salami must be made to pay for collecting bribes from Tinubu to give him/ACN the governorship of certain known states

Salami has been accused of taking bribes(amounting to about N5 billion) from Tinubu and ACN to swing the verdicts of state electoral tribunals in the past, now dont you think it's possible the corrupt justice Salami may have shared the loot with some members of his constituted tribunalhuh, therefore the most reasonable thing to do in the circumstance is to joggle the composition of that panel
Thanks for putting it very well. But beyond prayers we should educate our folks and friends, old and young about their POWER to make these thieving leaders RESPONSIBLE and ACCOUNTABLE to the citizens whom they REPRESENT

You could help by shedding light or stating ways in which thieving leaders like Tinubu and Cashola can be made accountable
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is Critically Ill And Has Been Flown Out Of The Country? by rasputinn(m): 4:30am On Sep 05, 2011
link=topic=:
I pray Tinubu recovers very well from this emergency "critical illness", so that he can come and reap what he has sown.

Shebi he put the thieving Fashola in office, to help him protect his "investments" in LASUTH, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos State Treasury, LIRS, Lakowe Lakes, LCC, Deux Projects, Oriental Hotel, ARM, Four Points Sheraton, Eko Hotel, Eko Akete, Hitech, Skye Bank (yes, he owns at least 35%), amongst several other things.

I have prayed, as others are praying for him on this thread, that anyone who steals, "legally" or illegally from the people of Lagos State will live to enjoy a million times the kind of suffering they are putting the people of Lagos through. To enable Tinubu seek medical attention abroad, thousands of children in Lagos had to die for lack of medical care, which could have been paid for with his ticket, (if he travelled on a commercial airline, 1st class of course). Hundreds of Lagosians will die this month from accidents caused either by bad roads or lack of street lights or both, combined with bad medical facilities in the state, just because Tinubu has been stealing the state blind for his own comfort, with the active collusion and protection of Fashola.

As if that was not bad enough, Fashola too has been stealing his own, through companies like Plycon Construction, which he owns and has recently done a terrible job on Adelabu street and other areas where they have executed contracts awarded by Fashola himself. The Lagos GIS project was set up for his company, the one doing the Naija Tracker, or something similar. Even the solar street (read Torch) lights contract was just as way for him to siphon money from the state. Look at the rubbish he bought. Go to Lekki and see how solar street lights are supposed to work on some of the private estates there.

Lagosians are trying their best, they're just being let down by ACN propagandists in government, who think it is their job to deceive the people while pretending to help them.

May their generations yet unborn partake in the suffering they will reap as a result of their callousness. May all who help, aid and abet them in ANY way also partake in the desolation that will surely be their portion in the Mighty Name of Jesus. All who steal from Lagos shall surely perish despite their ill-gotten riches. The people's commonwealth shall be returned to them, and God himself will raise a righteous leader from the most unlikely place to assuage the sufferings of Lagosians. As the children of Lagos weep and their parents cry to God, so shall those who make them suffer weep and gnash their teeth, even on this earth and sooner than they think.

One thing is for sure, no one can live forever. I however pray that those stealing from Lagosians and those benefiting from them will live long enough to suffer properly and deeply for their sins, even as those they've stolen from see with their own eyes the wages of sin.
Thanks for enlightening us about the thieving ways of Tinubu and his gang of looters including the over rated Fashola
PoliticsRe: N7bn Scam: Efcc Storms Lagos Over Speaker’s Assets by rasputinn(m): 8:23am On Sep 04, 2011
A copy of the petition stated in part, “The initial monthly running cost of the House in 1999 was put at N20m and later jerked up to N40m before the end of the Bola Tinubu administrationThis amount the Babatunde Fashola regime also increased to N60m. The cost had, however, been moved up to N500m shocked shocked shocked shocked monthly in 2010 by the House of Assembly.

“This was passed into law and made a first line charge so that the amount can be deducted directly from the state revenue account without any recourse to the executive and has been collecting this huge sum without any corresponding impact on the lives of members or their duties.”
.

So much for governance devoid of corruption cry cry cry

Tinubu and his gang of criminals masquerading as political office holders are the curse that Lagosians are grappling with
