PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by rasputinn(m): 7:48am On May 24, 2011
Fashola not interested or NOT CAPABLE OF CLINCHING IT?
For starters, how many ACN governors do we have in Nigeria for Fashola to head the governors forum??secondly the governors would not want a weakling(like Fashola) to lead them.

Check the antecedents of the two former heads of the forum, when Obong Attah was the head, even though he was a PDP governor(the same party with President Obasanjo),it's on record that he did not dance to the tune of OBJ on issues that contradicted with decisions of the forum or indeed during the issue of disputed oil wells between CRS and AKS

Enter Bukola Saraki, this man (unlike Fashola) is not a weakling,he stood up to the older Saraki(his father) and did not allow Olusola Saraki to run Kwara state by proxy(the way Fashola has allowed Tinubu a free reign in Lagos),even if his father actually installed him as governor
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Vs Messi Who Is Better by rasputinn(m): 9:43am On May 23, 2011
There's a reason why Christiano Ronaldo is the current undisputed pin-up boy of soccer in the whole world and the highest paid footballer. There's also a reason the owners of Man City are contemplating buying him in the summer even when they know there's a buy-out clause in the neighbourhood of a billion dollars shocked grin in his contract with Real Madrid,he is already the highest paid footballer, but Sheikh Mansour is even looking to up his pay to such an amount that Messi can never dream of in his career tongue tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Vs Messi Who Is Better by rasputinn(m): 9:37am On May 23, 2011
Of course Christiano Ronaldo is far far better than Messi
Ronaldo has proved that he can do his thing and shine for club and country and in the English premiership or La liga, but Messi seems only to be able to thrive in Barcelona where the like of Xavi,Iniesta and co are there to make him shine

Vintage erratic Sanusi, blowing hot and cold
The man is too bigoted to man a postition as senitive as that of a CBN governor, since he's so keen on implementing sharia everywhere he turns, then he should resign or BE SACKED from that post and either go and become a muslim cleric or join Buhari in CPC

Integrity is a scarce commodity in Nigeria, doubly so when you are looking for it in PDP environment.
Fa fa fa foul,it's got nuffin to do wif political affiliation, may I remind you that the president(a man of integrity)who has refused for the ministerial appointment to be business as usual and therefore has subjected the nominees to very stringent set of integrity tests is in the PDP environment.

BTW,is it Tinubu and Tunde Bakare(two fraudulent people, though one is openly fraudulent and the other covertly fraudulent) that inspire confidence in integrity for youhuh?

arsenal`s situation is quite pathetic at present. prior to the league cup Mr Wenger was even talking about winning a quadruple, even if deep down he knows all but the most die hard fans were taking him seriously. After 3 months, its no title and fight for automatic champs league place.

i can see him playing Ramsey or wilshere in the fab. position when he eventually leaves. he wont buy i am quite certain of that. unfortunately it would be another fruitless sojourn come next season.
An opinionated stubborn man and a docile board;perfect combination for fruitlessness. If this is not a disaster, then I wonder what is

You just want to take a dig at the Arsenal, there's nuffing like a course or what not
The ONLY problem the club has,I mean the problem that has made it impossible for the club to win trophies in six years almost ten years is Arsene Wenger

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Should Arsene Wenger Hold On To Fabregas? by rasputinn(op): 5:44pm On May 22, 2011
snowdrops:
the issue is not selling fabregas but whom to replace him with. instead of wenger to spend some money [at least he would make good cash from selling his captain], he would go to some obscure french/Swiss/African league to look for some half baked unknown soldier. remember what happened after selling Henry, viera, berghamp, Cole, pires, overmas, kanu, the list is endless
Hmmmmm

Somehow I sense that Arsene is out to make a useless statement with this Fab4 issue, the lad wants out,he needs to win some silverware and since Arsene and the board are quite content with just finishing third and getting an automatic UCL spot, then he should let those that want out to go as another round of FAb4/FCB/Wenger transfer menage trois will surely dampen the already low morale of the team
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Should Arsene Wenger Hold On To Fabregas? by rasputinn(op): 2:06pm On May 22, 2011
Should Arsene Wenger Hold On to Fabregas??

http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~2363240,00.html

It's an open secret that for some seasons now, though Arsenal captain,Cesc Fabregas has been at The Arsenal football club, his heart appears to be at Catalunya, with FC Barcelona

On their part, the Catalan giants have not hidden their desire to have Fabregas re-join them. With their failure to do that last season, most pundits took it as a given that Cesc Fabregas would definitely be donning the jerseys of FC Barcelona come 2011/12 season.

However,it seems Arsene Wenger is poised to truncate that desire;YET AGAIN

So do you think Arsene Wenger should let Fabregas go or hold him back at the Emirateshuh?

I guess you missed this part of his sermon;

He does not, however, envisage joining another Premier League side. "I can't see myself returning in a Chelsea shirt, or Liverpool or Manchester City – and definitely not Tottenham," he said. "I think my future will be in Italy or Spain."
Not really, whether he says he thinks his future is in the white house or not, still does not negate the point that Arsene should be blamed for keeping players like Denilson all these just so they could to make up the numbers
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsene Wenger Needs To Be Sacked. by rasputinn(m): 7:43pm On May 20, 2011
Arsene is a good trainer and a bad manager
His only chance of winning silverware for the Emirates trophy is for him and the board to see the truth that their transfer policies of the past few years HAVE BEEN DEAD WRONG and that they need to splash the cash to get quality and trophy-winning players

In any case,he WONT be sacked, but I won't miss him if he's sacked.

@ All

Y'all should cut Denilson some slack abeg, agreed he's not been one of our dependablebes in recent times, but what was he supposed to do??quit the team then??well he's quitting now.

Let's take a second look at what he said;
""This has been the worst season of my life and I am so upset, so frustrated," he told The Sun.

"I am a winner and I came here to win trophies but I've been here for five years and won nothing.

"A footballer's career is over very quickly so it is time for me to move on.

??
If he had been piss-poor season in,season out, then the coach should be blamed for keeping him in the squad
Which of you guys disagrees with what he said above

CP what?,was that ever a political partyhuhit's just a cult for Islamic jihadists headed by Ayatollah Buhari.Only power-hungry hypocrites from the South like Tunde Bakare,Tony Momoh etc would have anything to do with that cult. Not to worry, soon enough, they too will be frozen out of the clique by Bihari, since they're not sharia-minded enough
