Lots of Fulanis living in Sokoto and those of Usman Bii Foduye's line were Toroobe or from the Fouta Tooro in in Senegal/Mauritania. Nigeria has groups of Fulanis from several different countries originally. That's why there are various Fulani dialects with Adamawa being the dominant one.

This is quite interesting!
The intonation of those in Sokoto seems to have been corrupted with the Hausa one, compared to that of Senegal.

Historically, the ancestors of most of the Fulani's in Sokoto & the environ came from Mali & its neighborhood ( including La Guinea ). Most of them came to settle down & intermarry with the indigenes ( the Gobir, etc. ) during the dynasty of Shehu Usmanu Foodio,. While others came later.

Many people were strictly inhibited in fully expressing themselves when they were children. As you're already aware, each of us is a composite of a physical, emotional, mental & spiritual selves. Seldom do you find a person who unfolds at the "same rate" in all aspects of his personality "simultaneously". Generally, one or two aspects of his personality may be lagging behind.
We see this with most celebrities, where one aspect of their personality is highly developed at the expense of another.


It's good to keep this in mind when we're relating with people.
