Chelsea's problem today was simply lampard. His inefficiency exposed the CBs and Luis could not react adequately. Go check, its never a good story whenever chelsea plays a physical team with a weak DM. The Oscars, Hazards and Matas tend to be less creative as a result. Mou shud know better. |
With this policy, I have totally lost the last sympathy I had for Jonathan. Who can help this clueless government? Why always put the cart before the horse? where are the benefits of subsidy removal like they promised?, Despite the subsidy removal, the annual subsidy budget is on the increase... where are the benefits? It is not rocket science to know that nobody will buy a tokunbo vehicle if they could afford new ones. All they needed was provide an enabling environment and lure the automobile firms to set up their plants here. Why not fix the power problem first? Are the plants going to run on generators too? who is going to bear the cost of power generation for the plants?.... Nigerians are still at the recieving end of this policy even if the companies set up their plants here today because the production cost of these vehicles in Nigeria will be far more expensive than in China. Which company will be in a haste to come set up a plant in our volatile polity? The security exposures are enormous..., if you set up the plant in the north...its boko haram, in the south..its mend, in the middle belt...its ombatse. Nigeria's security situation is not ripe to lure long term and capital intensive investments with a mere policy that could be twarted by massive smuggling through cotonou The business of tokunbo cars and its accessories have provided succor for over 2 million nigerians ... ranging from the importers, the clearing agents, the custom officials, the middlemen to the the sellers etc. Now Jona wants to risk throwing them out back into the streets for a mere 500K job opportunities in 5 years which nobody is sure will ever be realized. Where will the raw materials come from.... import too?, how will the raw materials be transported to the plants.... through our dead roads or the non-existent rail system? So Jona expects a taxi driver to invest in a brand new car for his business without increasing his fares? how many years of savings or mortgage structure will afford me a brand new car with a minimum wage of 18K? This policy as nice as is sounds on paper is so ill-timed and will come back to hurt the Nigerian economy badly if implemented in the near term, fix the basic fundamentals first and this initiative will just fall into place. Like I'll always say.... Even the world best initiative will be rubbished if implementation of such initiatives resides on the hands of the corrupt. There are urgent things to worry about, Bokoharam, ASUU, Ombatse, Crude Theft, corruption in our ministries, massive ongoing looting, political opposition, road and rail transport system, PHCN etc. Jonathan.... tokunbo tariff increase should be the last thing on your mind. Some of your advisers are working for IMF and world bank; they do not mean well for you and Nigeria. |
Is dis aptitude test a computer based test? |
@ Tochi Good job you've done with the pictures. You told the story without saying a word. |
I was impressed by SE's style of play. Keeper - we can always count on enyeama at least for now ... I'll rate him 70% Defence - Echiejile and Oboabona has really improved compared to their early AFCON performance. The Omeruo - Oboabona pair hasnt been entirely awful, they deserve to be given more playing time and they'll be our best CB pairs in the near future. Ambrose didnt perform badly, impressed with his break runs but he needs more confidence and should improve on his dispossession techniques. I'll rate yesterday's performance 50% cos Omeruo was absent for the most part Midfield - Mikel has consistently proved his critics wrong, outstanding world class performance if you ask me, his work rate commitment and efforts has been a big boost for the team spirit. My only comment for him will be that he does less of the back passes when playing for SE as the play revolves around him most times. We Onazi back by all means. Mba is an average player and wont hurt to have him on the bench for the world cup. An addition of Joel Obi and consistent exposure for Ogu in the world cup qualifiers wont hurt the team. I'll rate yesterday's performance 75% just because of Mikel Attack - I would have used the word awful but I must make mention that Musa's game improved a bit yesterday. But our world cup team cant be built around an inconsistent strike force. Ideye, Gambo, Babatunde etc has proved to all they have no place in this emerging team.I'll generously rate yesterday's performance 21% cos of Musa's improved perf. I can bet that a strike force with Moses, Emenike, Odumamadi or one of the uche brothers would dealt Spain a surprising blow. Overall, I am happy with the team Keshi is building as long as he has a concrete plan. Once we finally get the right strike force, we should be good to go. The team spirit and discipline has been its best in a very long time. And if keeping Osaze out will sustain this discipline and spirit, may he never be contacted. One more thing, Keshi needs to build his bench. |
OLAADEGBU: Do you really need me? This matter had already been addressed in the videoclip below. Make of what you may with it.I watched this vodeo clip, this man is sincere... seems his leaders manufactured most these doctrines. That's what you get handing over open-ended (compromisable) doctrines to typical Nigerians who are ever ready to witch hunt their fellow beings. Everytime I listen to this man, the message is clear on what he stands for. |
Someone correct me if am wrong but I cannot see Pastor Kumuyi in any of the pictures. Maybe its too early to assume John had his consent. We need to hear the church's response to this before making assumptions. Besides, the write-up indicated the wedding was in a deeperlife church but omitted the location. Personally, I think there is more to what i read. This man of God cannot boldly spearhead negations to long standing doctrines even if he is indifferent to John's position or disposition. Even he wants a change, I would not expect him to start it with his son. I am only scared that this issue if not properly handled will negatively impact the youth of that church who still see things in black and white. The rebellion will be uncontrolled... and they might end up with wrong choices in a bid to negate the doctrines forced on them. No matter how we look at it, those doctrines have no negative impact on our societal values but the opposite might. For the records, I disagree with lots of the doctrines. |
