sicily4u: In free and fair election, Ngige will beat Obiano and Nwoye hands down, is obvious the election was rigged in favor of ObianoIn a Free and Fair Election, Ngige will be coming a distant 4th after Ifeanyi Ubah. Its common knowledge what sharp practices APC employed during the elections but everyone cares less as it currently amounts to nothing. Ngige is popular on Nairaland & Osundefenders.... Not on the soil of Anambra |
nwekesimon68: YES BRODA. IF THEY LUV NGIGE AND BELIEVE DAT HE IS THE LEADER NIGERIA HAV BEEN PRAYING FOR FOR MANY YEARS NOW. DEN APC SHUD GIVE HIM APC TICKET FOR PRESIDENT 2015. Therefore ngige for APC PRESIDENT 2015.I concur...... Ngige for APC President 2015. Vote for Change, Vote for One-Nigeria... Say No to Marginalization. Anambrarians will vote him for President under APC... Sure Thing |
#FACTS Nigeria has never had an election free of any form of malpractice This is the first time INEC has taken responsibility for an identified sectional malpractice and working to fix it INEC culprit has named a PDP chieftain (Not APGA) as the brain behind his actions With the level of corruption and poverty in the country and with the fact the JEGA cannot be at every polling unit all at the same time, anybody expecting election perfectly void of flaws needs his or her head examined INEC has denied and declared the imported Osun APC observers as fake Ngige is more popular in the media than on anambra soil Ngige was rigged in by the Uba's in his first gubernatorial outing... Public knowledge In saner climes, Ngige should be behind bars Ngige agreed and swore to an oath at the Okija shrine Ngige reneged on an agreement with the Uba's and had to build certain roads to gain public sympathy Ngige's 2013 political campaign was solely based on the public sympathy he gained a while back Ngige aligned with the deportation of Ibo sons and daughters who were dumped at the head bridge Ngige flagged off his campaign on the ofalla day celebration of the Obi of Onitsha Ngige belongs to a party Anambra People considers as regional As a senator, Ngige could only lay claims to VIP toilets as his only achievement Now I ask.... What is Ngige's Selling Point? #Otherfacts Peter Obi is not a career politician Peter Obi has refused to properly use the media to show his achievements Obiano is a technocrat but Peter Obi's Stooge Obiano belongs to a home grown party APGA #Majorfact - Conduct 20 more supplementary elections, Execute 15 more re-run elections, NGIGE cannot win a gubernatorial election in Anambra state under current circumstances. He has to deal/ surpass PDP first before surmounting APGA. Its a very tough call if not an impossible one. |

Naturally, I would suggest we allow the boys grow through the ranks. But for some reasons, I will suggest Iheanacho be tried... at least he can start from the bench on the remaining friendlies prior to world cup next year. The attacking midfield which he is properly skilled at is currently lacking in the super eagles .... If we can continue to try Mba & Oduamadi, then the boy should be given a chance. His touch on the ball is just lovely... even if he is not physical enough to match tough defence lines, at least he can earn us free kicks close to the box. Besides, he will not be displacing anybody currently outstanding in the team. Its fair enough they give the boy a try... at least we still have some friendly matches with nothing at stake. |

APC is not the opposition Nigerians seeks. The current content and structure of the 'Progressives' will self-destruct |
alexchiny: Front page please!!!!!!!Progressive MODS, can we move this to front page please? |
agbameta: Ngige can not win, but he still scored 92,000 votes outside his main base with still almost 100,000 denied votes from his real main base left on the table..Please go through the released result and show me an LGA with actual voters upto 50% of the registered voters. No need quoting number of registered voters as its very deceptive. The supplementary election will furthe prove this right..., PDP (Tony Nwoye) will give him a good run in his so-called main base. You have refused to accept how Ngige's popularity has waned over time. In addition to baseline rigging (which all parties are guilty of including APC), popularity makes the whole difference. APGA is known, APC has been labelled the intruder.... Remember that sentiment is the oil on which politics feeds. |
The earlier people face the true fact, the better for all.... Only APGA or PDP can win a gubernatorial Anambra election, no amount of propaganda can change that (Just like APC in Lagos) Ngige/ APC cannot win a free and fair election in Anambra State at the moment - blame it on tribal sentiments Conduct 20 more re-runs, APGA will still win..but this time with wider margins Nairaland politics and smear campaigns has failed to show the true realities on ground in related cases When the chips are down and swords withdrawn; APC would have done some real self destruction on its pursuit at becoming a national party. Until they learn where to draw the line... Its still a veeeeeeerrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy long way On a general note: I wish to ask why anyone will expect a free and fair election in Nigeria? An average nigerian is so corrupt and poor that its so alarming... and that includes 95% of the INEC staff. Why do people expect wonders from INEC when nothing else works in Nigeria? Personally, I think we've seen the last of what seems to be a free and fair election in nigeria. Sentiments have grown so high, poverty is still wreckinn havoc on the voting populace, Corruption is at its all time high. Anybody expecting an election free of any malpractice at the moment in Nigeria needs his head checked |

It changes nothing. Its not because of Obi or his gestures... Its because its APGA and Anambra is the subject When the chips are down and swords withdrawn; APC would have done some real self destruction on its pursuit at becoming a national party. Until they learn where to draw the line... Its a veeeeeeerrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy long way for us. The mother of protests await that ruling or decision that upturns the victory of APGA |

My take from today's match - giving Iheanacho from the U-17 a try in subsequent friendly matches won't hurt. He has a perfect touch on the ball and might be d playmaker we seek. Once he clicks with Onazi/ Mikel going forward... We should be almost good to go. Finally, we need good subs for ambrose and echiejile...... Overall, we don't have a terrible team |

That is the man that wants to be a party chieftain in Anambra state....same people he will bomb out of existence if given the chance. Let me know when this makes front page (if it ever does) |
Ngige though very popular on nairaland is not as popular on ground. #Fact# |
Unfortunately, the opinion polls on nairaland negates the reality on ground. Am totally undecided on this election but as at tonight on anambra soil (not nairaland).... Ngige has lost a lot of popularity in the last week. Less than 2% of the people participating on nairaland polls will not vote. As it currently stands, Even Tony Nwoye stands a better chance than Ngige in this election. Ngige might have won on nairaland but its very far from reality...Quote me on sunday. |
