Italiano1: Excellent question! Is that the sort of hospital conditions Jonathan or Mama Piss would like to stay in? Of Course Not! They jet out of the country they have a heartburn or a headache and leave Nigerians to their fate.Your Tinubu jets out ss well after 13 years in power. You guys handed GEJ a failed system and he needs time to fix them. GEJ is working and we can feel it. These APC blind propaganda has made us admire him more. |

Go to bed. You guys have made GEJ popular indirectly. |
For all the old corrupt looters (IBB, OBJ, Atiku, Tinubu, Abdulsalam etc) to jointly agree to unseat him means he must be doing something very right which is different from their blind looting. For a very long time, we are feeling the impact of the FG with very little propaganda. For these reasons... Its a Resounding YES for me and mine. |
For all the old crooks (Obj, IBB, Atiku, Abdulsalam, Danjuma, tinubu etc) within the corridors of power to gather together to fight GEJ irrespective of their individual differences means GEJ is doing something different from the Norms they were used to. That is the change we've been yearning for. For that we are sticking to GEJ until proven otherwise. That is my simple logic. |
johnmartus: we you not shut up your mouth why is Jonathan abittion so in important than your futures instead of you to think about your life you are busy here typing rubbishGet an education asap bro |
Credit to Zenith Bank and not LASG. |
The question is are they any different? |
GEJ and his administration are silently achieving with very little propaganda. We've never had it so good in this country. This tempo must be sustained. |

Mine is a simple logic For all the corrupt old leaders/ criminals in the corridors of power (IBB, OBJ, Tinubu, Atiku, Buhari, abdulsalam, Danjuma etc) to gather to work against GEJ means he must be doing something right different from what they've always done that brought us to this rot state. Until proven otherwise, me and mine are sticking to GEJ |
Merry Christmas My President. May God bless you real good and give you great courage to stir the course of this nation. For all the corrupt leaders in the corridors of power (IBB, OBJ, Tinubu, Atiku, Buhari, abdulsalam, Danjuma etc) to gather to work against you means you must be doing something right different from what they've always done that brought us to this rot state. Carry on, you have the goodwill of discerning Nigerians. |
It shows he has no dignity and does not stand for anything. Otherwise he wont make such statements in 2011 cos whatever broom stands for had nothing to with his ideology even at that time. All of them PDP/APC are all same. They stand for nothing and play desperate politics. |
steve_cantrell: But how did the patient know ? He was asleep while under the knife, unless he has photographic proof of the initials, like a CT scan or sonogram..it never happened.you obviously refused to read the write up. There was a follow-up operation. |
A united Nigeria might not survive the outcome of these political developments. We might hit an economic dead end if these politicians continually overcharge the polity. The boys in the creeks have been overly empowered by this administration and the oil majors are already one leg out. I hope people are thinking. |
dyweb: It is just so ridiculous. Most of the people praising him now are people who have been thrashing him all along. Now that the op has spoon fed you with cheap talk you are all ranting.Your post reeks of negativity and hopelessness. One step at a time will get us to our destination. Acknowledge every gain and move to the next. Ours is a journey not a destination. Dont be too hard on yourself, its obvious this is progress. |
Anybody born of a woman who looks at these achievements and wave them off needs his head checked. I would implore such person to go back in time and help dig half of such achievements in 3yrs by any previous administrator. GEJ might not be all that but he is really the fresh air different from what we've always seen in this country. The freedom of expression and association among the political sphere is his highest point. The opposition today has a voice cos of the nature of this administration. I am so so impressed. |
Compared to Yaradua, OBJ, Abacha, IBB etc, GEJ is exceptional. More works, less propaganda. He is gradually addressing all fronts at the same time. Apart from addressing corruption, his achievements within these few years are next to none. I also believe that after he has purged PDP of all these old corrupt politicians to APC, then the fight against corruption will be stepped up. |
franciskaine: i weep when i see us sell our conscience just to become praise singers to a govt dat is ineffective and incompetent. one germane question we must ask ourselves is ' how has this present govt impacted in my life as a person, and how has it made life more meaningful to an average Nigerian? people praise-sing this govt without even considering the true essence of governance. Nigeria canneva change unless we do away with our tribal and clannish bias. a devt dat cannot improve on the well-being of the citizenry is not worth it. let us stop our paper assessment of this administratn and face the reality on ground, the govt can go on in building sky scrapers, but in as much this does not transcend into reductn in poverty and an increase in d overall standard of living of the pple, dis cannot be refered to as devt. for me, this govt is a failure and as such does not worth my vote come 2015.In clear and specific terms, how do you want the government to impact your life within the confine of current circumstances. I don't need an epistle... Be specific wrt you. |
Discerning Nigerians are making alternative and escape plans for 2015. You guys are here arguing over an already overcharged polity. There are only two options. Its either we the masses unite to say no to these politicians or we will be used to perpetuate violence against ourselves to achieve their aim. I urge every sane Nigerian to take away sentiment, try to forecast how all these will end. Do that objectively and ponder on the outcome a bit. What will be the reaction from impeaching GEJ?(Think Niger Delta militants and PDP being opposition) Do you think GEJ will allow a free and fair election in an overcharged polity when its clear he will lose? What do you think will be the outcome of a rigged result?(think Anarchy) What do you think the planned 2014 national conference is about? Do you think these old politicians had you and me in mind when they made the move to APC? Nigeria will soon be gone before our very eyes. |

GEJ recieves tons of letters and mails daily. We did not vote him in to reply to letters. We voted him in to deliver on his promises and on that WE ALL should hold him accountable for. All he has to do is keep quiet and this shall be history in few weeks but that has not addressed the fundamental issues Hoewever, we all as Nigerians need to speak up.. not through OBJ or Iyabo or Lai Mohammed or Abati. GEJ can only provide a political response to OBJ if he chooses to because its all politics. There are no permanent enemies in politics especially in Nigeria and all these warring factions could gain alignment on their interests at our detriment in the near term. Nigerian masses are at the recieving end of these tussles yet we comfortably align ourselves on the ethnic and religious lines created by these politicians to keep us divided and unable to speak up against them. We are grossly blinded to these antics and its quite shameful. Nigeria is headed towards a dead end before our very eyes. Unfortunately, we all here playing politics while we cannot make any near-accurate prediction of what could become of us come 2015. This is the time Labour & trade unions should be gearing for a massive showdown with the government to get the government accountable. We do not need a letter from OBJ to do that; an OBJ letter intoduces politics into it and will stir ethnic sentiments. Pengassan/TUC/NLC should be threatning for a strike aimed at getting both past and present leaders accountable. A political solution cannot remedy Nigeria anymore. If we continue to gallivant till chaos meets us in 2015, posterity shall hold us accountable. Unfortunately, the so called leaders will be first to escape to other climes where their loots are preserved while we kill ourselves here. |
Toktee: Look at you, another empty threat, because you own oil we should vote for jonathan,if jonathan is removed today,it will take a northern president or anybdy that might be there less than one month to cage all those making noise in the niger delta, people like asari bin dokubu and oldman clark will be sent into exile, while the likes of u will sent to kirikiri maximun prison. If only you knew how wiser every region has got in the recent past. Do you ever foresee a sustained intimidation of the southerners? Only a geniuine cause borne out of a sincere desire to remedy a united Nigeria will forestall a utter breakdown of whatever sanity is left of our polity. The equation has since changed but people like you have refused to see it. Should I remind of you of what it used to be? Daily losses due to incessant strike in the creeks were quantified in billion USD. I am not from the ND but this is my objective projection... Call me all the names you'll like but reality is staring us all in the face. The ongoing developments in our political sphere is one that could bring Nigeria to its knees economically and politically if handled in a haste. Some wise ones have relocated their families and some have since stopped further domestic investment in Nigeria. Our Oil majors are already one leg out investing heavily in Gabon, equitorial guinea, Ghana, angola; major long term field developments have long siezed; business models are portfolio based; focus is maximizing production of existing fields; Shell have sold onshore facilities at alarming rates, Total PLC sold their stake in Usan; Chevron has sold an asset as well in recent past; Mobil seems to be the major not selling. We might wake up one day to realise we are on our own. Heating up the polity pollutes the business environment. I repeat again, Nigeria as a united entity cannot stand the outcome of the evolving catastrophe. Jona might be the wrong guy for the presidency but we have to manage him carefully till he leaves office. We are already divided along ethnic and religious line and unfortunately there is nothing anybody can do abt it at the moment. Quote me in Dec 2015. |
The boys in the Creeks of ND are keenly watching how things evolve. Everyone is wiser now. Do not expect a fold arm/ sit down/ watch response if anything happens to Jona in Aso Rock. We can heat up the polity as much as we want but we should also be ready to face the real and true consequences. It will only take less than one week to blow up our oil/ gas facilities to production of less than 10% of current output. By the time salaries can't be paid for 3 months... then shall anarchy be upon us. Currently we are battling B/H with little or no economic impact, add the Niger Delta re-insurgence to the equation and you understand the long predicted disintegration. Everyone should tread cautiously, any hasty action will have disastrous consequences. Unfortunately, Jona might just be the last president of a united nigeria from the current scheme of things. |
RIP to the greatest african that ever lived. Now... Who would assume those shoes of his? Who shall speak for Africa and command the attention of the world in africa's interest? Forgiveness, Love, reconciliation & boldness which are the key simple basic life principles gave him the whole essence. Africa must. Imbibe this legacies to move on. That is the key lesson from the life of this great man. |

Its almost obvious Goodluck will be the last president of a United Nigeria. Win or lose, things can never be the same again. The polity is overly charged to the extremes. 2014/2015 will be messy... The writing is clearly on the wall, he that hath ear, let him hear |

Ivanovic is an asset. His commitment to the team cannot be matched |
As much as this looks like a good development, I see chaos and almost anarchy at the back end. Not very sure if we have the structure to withstand the fall-outs from these developments. PDP is definitely not going down without a fight, APC is not going to allow the progress gained so far go down the drain, the NDs are waiting to bring our economy to its knees if their 'brother' gets impeached or denied 2015 presidency, PDP is definitely gonna react to the these developments in very mean and harsh ways and with all the organs at her disposal. Its just gonna get messy, unfortunately.. None of these is meant to address the dire needs of the common Nigerian. I seriously fear that the 2014/15 disintegration forecast might just be playing out before our very eyes. These are desperate moves and developments and both parties will stop at nothing. I fear for this entity called Nigeria. |
