Sent webform and emails for e medical sheet to Lagos and Nairobi offices on the 22nd March, 2021.
Medical updated to Pass 22nd March, 2021.
Ordered GCMS notes 7th June, 2021
Ghost update 13th June, 2021
GCMS arrived 6th July, 2021
Eligibility was blank
Sent emails and webforms everyday till 19th July
Got a reply on the 19th that it’s under review and will get a decision soon
Eligibility review 21st July
PPR & Correspondence letter - 21st July

If you did biometrics in Lagos and want to send to Lagos , no fees is paid .
But If you did biometrics in Lagos and want to send to Abuja , you are paying 7430 to CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT (a/c no 0065165839) sterling bank.
Buy an envelope

put two photocopies of your passport data page

your yellow or white biometrics slip

passport request letter

consent form downloaded and signed

Print out receipts of the 7430 too


Note: you are signing just the second page of the consent form, passport itself

one plain sheet of paper where you can write your address and phone number .

Thank you for your response. I received NSE request for MBS and IELTS. I have sent them a mail since April explaining why I can’t submit these documents and requesting normal route application processing (received full funding so most of my POF is from there, my sponsor doesn’t have up to 30,000cad). They acknowledged but then I want to do what you did but the thing is do I send 2 letters for both? Each explaining the reason why I couldn’t meet up for IELTS and MBS?

I think, since you sent a mail, that means the section requesting the upload of the MBS and IELTS are still open on your CIC account, though it may read expired as you did not meet the submission deadline. I will advise that you upload the letters to the respective sections and click the “Next” button to sign and submit by clicking the “transmission” button.

@ray007bu, pls the letter I sent has no connection with @frankrobbn1. All I did was to FOLLOW his suggestion.
The content of the letter was just to explain my peculiar circumstances of using a foreign bank account (UK) as my proof of funds.

Please send them your funding letter and sponsor's MBS (It is not a must for it to be upto 30K CAD since the funding will cover your tuition and expenses).

Amen oo. First bank does not have MBS feature. That’s my sponsors bank. I can state that in the letter too right?

@ray007bu, it depends on the additional document/s they are asking for.
I submitted my application with IELTS, so the request was solely for mybankstatement certificate. Since my financial sponsors are UK residents, I just explained in the letter that the request does not apply to me and that they should go ahead and review my application bearing in mind that my app has long exceeded the stipulated processing time on their website and also my resumption date is 7th September.

Good to know you implemented the advice given by me by uploading a written letter of explanation and transmitting the application to IRCC. Now, it is time to follow-up with IRCC office in Nairobi to finalize processing of your application. This will trigger action on your file and subsequently approval letter will drop.

I ignored the NSE request since 5th March. When it expired on 5th April, my profile changed to “Not Applicable” but my status has been reading “Your Action Is Required” since then, even after sending web forms and multiple emails to Lagos and Nairobi offices and getting the generic “active review” response.

Thanks to @frankrobbn1. I did what you said and my status immediately changed to “SUBMITTED” after uploading a Letter of Explanation on why I was unable to submit my bank statement certificate (my financial sponsors are UK based), and transmitting same by electronically signing the application.

Hoping they will truly and actively review my application going forward.
4 months and counting.....IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL!
