(14) Q. How can a candidate get errors on his/her certificates corrected ?

A. A Private candidate sends his/her request for an amendment to WAEC directly, while in the case of a school candidate it is the principal who makes the request.
In the two instances, the original copy of the certificate should be sent along with the application for amendment. WAEC charges a fee for the amendment where it is discovered that the error emanated from the candidate, otherwise, it is free.

Wat u ask 4 is not an easy task @ all. Am having d same problem wit u and 4 dis problem 2 b solved there are certain procedure 2 follow. The first step is dat u will go back 2 ur secondary school and collect letter 4rm ur school 4 d correction of the mistake and after dat u will obtain a bank draft of 10,000 naira 4rm any bank, after dis u will nw make photocopy of ur printout, ur original certificate and the bank draft and submit all dis document 2 waec office. The worst part of the issue is that, it will take up to 6 months before the mistake can be corrected.

Then go to any waec branch or zonal office, explain your predicament and a letter will be given to you stating the error which you can tender anywhere. Even people who lost there certificate, such letter do stand binding and will suffice anywhere.

Go to their office with your birth certificate. Best of luck.

Just go to any high court and get a sworn affidavit to that effect. I'm sure it will suffice...

I strongly doubt if CV qualifications is what Nigeria needs at this point in time.
During the 2011 election, some people did not see anything good in Jonathan but I really respect those people now because they were correct, rather than bring about or set in motion the much desired paradigm change, he has decided that he would rather maintain the status quo of business as usual.
Therefore, let's leave educational attainment and asses these two major contenders for the number one office of the land based on what each one of them as an individual can use the office to achieve for posterity.

go back to school bloody illiterate. i swear it should be a law in nigeria. if you cannot form a proper sentence without shelling you should not be allowed to have an opinion. everyone i have seen that is against buhari so far cant form proper sentences. in fact if you cant write correctly you should not be allowed to vote
