It is getting to almost 2 weeks now and President Buhari has not acted.

Tells a lot about the insensitivity of Leaders we have in this Country.

Over 14 states are being affected, that translate to millions of families being owed salaries or crippled economically.yet no statement or response from the president to resolve the matter. This is the first time the Faac meeting is being delayed for this long.

A confirmation we are cursed with clueless leaders.

Yeah...Croatia will need to be really switched on to take on England on Wednesday...they're going to suffer fatigue after this nail-biting penalties(it's their second penalty match point in this competition) and I think they've got some injuries to deal with as well. The English side is quite nimble with a lo of youth, confidence and the typical English pride so let's look forward to another cracking game

Croatia may just have an edge over England. Player for player Croatia has more experienced players. It is going to be a tight game.

Who remembers the days of CCCP?

You don old oh. Respect .

Does it look like a penalty? Touch was minimal.

Switzerland fall my peripherals...

(1)Germany vs Korea

Bookmakers where proved wrong as a less fancied Korea who were already out did the unthinkable. The Germans were considered pre tournament favourite.

(2)Japan vs Belgium

It was a straight win on paper for for the Belgians...But only on paper, things turned out differently on the field of play. The game left everyone on their toes. The Japs played their hearts out but lost narrowly.A further testament to the narrowing gap btw the so called big teams and small teams.

(3)Spain vs Portugal

This was a high octane match that brought to the fore the class of Cr7...It was a game that lived to its billing as a clash btw 2 heavy weight.Very exciting I must say.

(4)Sweden vs Germany

The frailty of the Germans was beginning to be more glaring after this game that was a rescued by a last minute strike by Tony Kroos.

The Germans were victims of a curse of Defending Champions by an European team since France bowed out of Korean/Japan 2002 after winning France 98.

Which of the games has been exciting for you?

The stuff of Champions...Never say die.

We also lost Vader and Dusty Rhodes this year, May their souls Rip.

I came out with a 3rd,i was so devastated when I saw my result.I thought I have failed myself and family.

But I overcame that feeling and was positive. Those days when I was job hunting, anytime I pass airport road at sauka Abuja and I see the Immigration hq, I tell myself that I will work here, that feeling was intuitive and deep.

Somehow immigration was recruiting that year and I applied, wrote the exams, overcame the physical test despite many people losing their lives.

Today I m gainfully employed, married and living a life of my dream.

This is an encouragement to everyone out there,a pass or third should nt discourage you.

I knew nobody,it was a miracle...

See as fine girl take pass on...Rip to you both.

Cahill should start this match, his experience matters.

Russia!
Those guys have really tried. They were tagged the worst team few hours before kickoff, but today the have 100% record with the highest number of goals.

Well they have home advantage going for them...They ve played 2 weak teams in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Let's see how they fare against Uruguay.

I remember his finishing move then in the late 90's,Vader bomb.
Dude was a beast.Rip

Following the first round of matches, which of the 32 paticipating teams has lived up to your expectations?

The Mexican team did it for me with their pace and very organised defence. They technically out played the Germans.I see them going far into the competition.

Which team did it for you?

Why didn't they invite Braun Strowman

Imagine if it was a combination of the monster among men(Braun Strowman), the Big red machine(Kane) and the Beast(Brock Lesner).

That Lion mouth go don tear throway.

A lot of peeps viewing this thread...Don't let us down boys.Wake up!

stevenakp:
That's not true.
De gea made an error yesterday does not make him a bad goal keeper. he is one of the best in the world.

if na the free kick, forget that one, there was alot of physics calculations involved. did you see that curve.

Further maths was even applied...The curve defied some laws.

Timoleon:
On the contrary, its a rare skill(very rare). Diego alves of Valencia has over 50% penalty saves for Valencia. in 2014 Netherlands brought in Tim Krul in the last minute if extra time, he saved 3 penalties in the shootout. Their next match went to penalties, they didn't bring him in, they lost the match. 2004/2006, eyimba win caf champions league twice thanks in no small part to Dele Auyenugba who was often used in the shootouts despite Enyeama starting the match.

Good history Bro...u deserve some accolades.

He can not be deported unless he is convicted by a competent court of law if found wanting or has committed a criminal act.

He can however be repatriated on the orders of the Minister of interior if he has flouted our immigration laws.

That is what the Immigration act stipulates.
