One of the toughest roles for a woman to play is that of a pastor's wife. This role is extremely demanding, tasking, self sacrificing, and emotionally draining. So often the people forget about the one who supports the pastor, his greatest cheerleader, confidante, ally,friend, lover, and wife.
No one in the church family is as vulnerable as the pastors wife.

1. She is the key figure in the life of the pastor and plays the biggest role in his success and failure. And yet many churches treat her as an unpaid employee and an uncalled assistant.

2. She is almost always a reliable helper as well as an under- appreciated servant.

3.She is the single most likely person to become the victim of malicious gossip, sneaky innuendo, impossible expectations, and pastoral frustrations.

4. She can be hurt in a hundred ways through attacks on her husband, her children and herself. Her pain is magnified by one great reality: SHE CAN'T FIGHT BACK, SHE HAS TO SMILE BACK !

5. She can't give a certain member a piece of her mind for criticizing her children, she cannot straighten out the Leader who is making life miserable for her husband, she has to take it in silence most of the time.

6. It takes the best christian in the church to be a pastors wife and pull it off. YESS! Her crown will be special!

7. She is pretty more same kind of christian as every one. When the enemy attacks she bleeds.

WHAT DO YOU OWE HER?
1. You owe her the right to be herself. Allow her to serve in whatever area she is gifted.
2. You owe her your love and gratitude. Her role is one of a kind and makes her essential to the church well being. You have no clue regarding the pressures inside the pastors family. Love the wife and kids and show them appreciation.
3. You owe her your love and prayers. While the father alone knows her heart, the pastor alone knows her burdens. Pray for her by name on a regular basis.
4. You owe her responsible care. What does she need? Ask the Holy Spirit what the pastor's family need. If it's something you can do do it. If it's huge, rally others to join you.
5. You owe it to the pastor and his wife to speak up. Sometimes they need a friend to take their side.
6. You owe her compliments and encouragement. Voice appreciation for her talents and abilities, her love for the lord and her particular skills that make this ministry work, not join in the critics.
The typical reaction most members have when someone is criticizing the wife is silence, but you have got to speak up. Take up for her.

TO THEIR HUSBANDS
The men should love and lead their wives before they love and lead the church. Some pastors wife frankly think their husband have a mistress which is the local congregation they serve.
You will always disappoint someone, choose to disappoint others not the wife of your youth.

TO THE PASTOR'S WIFE
1. Take responsibility for your life. Love yourself, Pursue your Passion and be happy.
2. Take care of your self spiritually, emotionally,mentally and Physically.
3. Be creative because beauty and creativity restores.
4. Find ways of rejuvenating yourself. Know when you hit a wall then take a break. Plan get aways with family, trusted girlfriends. Do something different from your usual routine.
5. Don't fit into anybody's mold. Don't try to conform to someone's expectations. Focus on what God expects. Your flaws shows you are human and you are some one they can relate with.
6. See to it that you grow in Grace.
Note: Don't let stereotypes of what a pastor's wife is supposed to be hinder who you really are. Be genuine . Be yourself.

JUST DROPS!

Recently, when I was going to bed after using my bathroom, I started hearing sound of drops of water from the tap in slow successions, but since it was dropping into an empty bucket, I decided to let it be.

But, alas! When I woke up the next morning, around 5am, the bucket was almost full! I was surprised that just drops even in such slow successions could produce that much. I couldn't help it, 'Just drops?!' I questioned rhetorically.

But the following night, I made sure that the tap in my bathroom was locked completely and I checked the bucket and saw that it was empty, though wet. Then I went to sleep.

I guess you already know what I saw the next morning. The bucket was not wet as I had left it, but it was now dry!

Then I realized the importance of a drop and how much difference it can make in all ramifications of one's life compared to a dry tap.

Imagine letting the drops be for a year, I would be scooping with drums at the end of the year!

So, how about that drop of savings?

How about that drop of kindness and love everyday?

How about a drop of reading useful books today and every day?

How about that drop of a verse of the scripture today and every day?

How about that drop of prayer today and every day?

How about a drop of worship today and every day?

How about a drop of step towards your God-given dream today and every day?

How about a drop of giving into your heavenly account?

What virtue and discipline will you start today in little drops?

Never neglect the importance of a drop, for when the harvest time comes, you would have made a big DIFFERENCE in Jesus name AMEN.

Ponder on this as you are going to church today.

About the 7r old boy allegedly burnt to dead yesterday in Badagry area of Lagos state, a lady has written a very long melancholic poem for the lad.

The issue of this child raised a lot of eyebrows from people across all religion.

Since government officials steal billions and yet get standing ovations and gifts from stealing from the common man, I thought GARRI THEFT wouldn't be a pain in the butt, I thought they would ask me to call my family so that they would be offered some too but it was all an imagination that wouldn't live the walls of my mind. Here am I signing for my death warrant without even having the foresight to foresee it, maybe the HUNGER that I have been wrestling with defeated not just my stomach but also my ability to see beyond the ordinary.

I got caught stealing GARRI, so what? Afterall, millions and billions are stolen on a daily basis in the country called NIGERIA, it's just GARRI, they would let me go, well, so I thought. The moment the first slap reshaped my imagination and face, I knew it was going to be a totally different scenario.

They adopted the CAVE MAN way of resolving issues, they took turns hauling insults at me, took turns manhandling me with crude implements, my body was willing to stay alive, but my soul, yes, soul, saw the divine light, besides my body was conquered by that terrorising HUNGER.

Finally, I breath my last, I didn't live the life I wanted to, MAN decided to be God, to decide who lives and who dies. They cut short my life span at 7, because THEY FELT STEALING GARRI WAS MORE HARMFUL TO THE SOCIETY THAN STEALING BILLIONS MEANT FOR THE GOOD OF THE COMMON MAN.
If we continue to live like this then the change we are yearning will remain elusive.. R. I. P. To the boy who was burnt to death for stealing(extempore) GARRI just to quench the famishing Hunger brought about by our LETHAL CHANGE.

According to a prediction made by professional prognosticator, President-elect, Donald Trump threatens new danger.

He managed to predict that Donald Trump will win the election but now he made one more SHOCKING PREDICTION!

Lichtman said that if elected, Trump would eventually be impeached by a Republican Congress that would prefer a President Mike Pence – someone who establishment Republicans know and trust.

Lichtman said:

“I’m going to make another prediction. This one is not based on a system, it’s just my gut. They don’t want Trump as president, because they can’t control him. He’s unpredictable. They’d love to have Pence – an absolutely down the line, conservative, controllable Republican. Republican Donald Trump is to be the next President of the United States of America which is tipped to aid the US Dollar over the longer-term and we have started to see the currency pare its initial losses against the Euro and Pound Sterling.

Donald Trump is heading to the Whitehouse.

At the time of writing the Republican candidate has secured the required 270 electoral college votes to take the keys to the Oval Office.

Reports have filtered through that Clinton has in fact called Trump to concede defeat.

What's more, the Republicans appear to have won enough seats to control the House and Senate which should allow a President Trump to pass policy unhindered.

We reported ahead of polls closing the view that a Trump victory would likely benefit the Pound against the Dollar but could see the currency fall against the Euro.

Analysis from Alan Ruskin at Deutsche Banksuggested that the Pound could gain by about 2% against the US Dollar on the event of such an outcome.

While GBP/USD was a lot higher when it became clear an upset was on the cards it has since fallen back.

"GBPUSD rallied overnight - in response to Trump’s victory – but failed to clear the 1.2557 highs of last week. The market has already sold-off with 1.2330 region still pivot support ahead of the range lows in the 1.2115-1.2080 region. Our bias is for a medium-term choppy range to develop further, while weekly momentum studies unwind," says Robin Wilkin at Lloyds Bank.

With regards to the EUR/GBP, Wilkin also notes fading Euro strength has opened the door to a dollar recovery:

"We are already back towards the mid-point of this range and expect the range to continue for now. Momentum studies are flat and only a break of the 0.8850 region would turn them back lower and open the potential for an extension towards lower support in the 0.8750 region."

The rapid recovery from the initial shock of the vote will have caught some by surprise, particularly if they choose to benchmark the event against Brexit.

Aurelija Augulyte at Nordea Markets believes the pullback we have seen from the initial move proves markets have learned from Brexit and enacted a faster reversal.

However, follow-through gains could still be possible as the momentum triggered by the vote has not completely faded.

“A Trump victory would in the initial instance, probably lead to a reversal of Monday’s FX moves, but likely multiplied by a factor of at least two times for G4 currencies, and at least three times for EM and higher beta currencies,” says Ruskin.

On Monday we saw a large jump in the US Dollar and fall in the Pound and Euro as a Clinton victory was baked into the market.

Trump Good for the Dollar Long-Term

The initial knee-jerk reaction to sell the USD was expected but now comes the hard part - deciphering impending currency moves.

Greg Anderson, Global Head of FX Strategy at BMO Capital believes the Dollar should benefit from a Trump presidency owing to his stances on tax, and his ability to appoint the next US Fed Governor:

"Trump’s proposed re-write of the US tax code could bring a big shift in USD fundamentals. Reducing US corporate taxes and closing loopholes has the potential to dramatically alter the competitiveness of American business and therefore the long-run equilibrium of the dollar.

"Without knowing all the details on the loophole closures, it’s hard to be definitive, but we (BMO FX Strategy) tend to view corporate tax reform as long-run positive for the USD."

"The President nominates appointees to the Fed’s Board of Governors as openings occur. The next President will nominate the successor to Janet Yellen as Fed Chairman when her term expires in January 2018. Trump would appoint mostly Republicans, who tend to be more hawkish than Democrats, although there isn’t a perfect mapping of that issue.

"The Fed’s rate path in 2017 probably wouldn’t be different under Trump, but over the span of several years, a FOMC that is gradually staffed with more hawkish members would likely to result in higher Fed base rates. This would be a USD-positive factor during the period the rates market priced it into forward curves."

Global Currency Reactions: "Making European Currencies Great Again!"

With Trump’s chances growing, the European foreign exchange markets outperform – even the CEE currencies like PLN, CZK, HUF – are nearly 2% up against the USD in early trading.

The Scandies are up 0.5% vs USD. The GBP, too, gained significantly, up 1% against the USD so far tonight.

The EUR and CHF are best performers in Europe: up more than 2%. The EUR/USD broke above the 200D moving average and the squeeze may continue to 1.13, and above.

"The SNB will have hard time this morning defending the EUR/CHF “soft floor”, but we still think the 1.07 should hold," says Johnny Bo Jakobsen at Nordea Markets.

We must also thank Jakobsen for the quip "Making European Currencies Great Again!"

Elsewhere, USD-MXN moved around 8% higher.

Prior to today, the largest gains in USD-MXN were during the depths of the Global Financial Crisis – 12.3% on Oct 10 2008, 7.68% on Oct 8 2008 and 6.38% on Oct 16 2008.

"If Trump prevails, with the focus on Mexico from a trade/immigration perspective, the move in USD-MXN could extend further," says Jason Daw at Societe Generale.

The South African Rand was also another notable loser owing to its status as an emerging market currency.

However, John Cairns at RMB in Johannesburg expects ZAR to recoup much of its losses:

"Based on the market sensitivity to the changing election fortunes overnight suggests USD/ZAR would go to 14.00 on a Trump win. It would be normal if initial rand moves overshot, with a rand recovery later in the day. Expect extremely high volatility: at least 50 cents on USD/ZAR in the 24 hours after the election is called, and as much as 30 cents per day in the following few days."
