Yes I handle building approval.

The cost of the approval/permit would depend on the type of structure you want to build.
With 14m you can build a 4bedroom bungalow with a large sitting room & master bedroom.

Depends on your location.

Both work hand in hand.

The building plan approval means that the drawings (architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings) have been checked and certified fit for use.

After the building plan approval, you get a building permit allowing you to start construction.

I like your advice and that's what I intend to do on my next project. My plan is to quickly remodel the family house, and then start building my own personal house, and that is why I want to stick to a budget. Do you think that if I reduce the number of rooms, that it might help? Because my plan is to get this done within 5 months to avoid being homeless
