Please gurus, I've got a question to ask.
My girlfriend is Norwegian and she recently wrote a letter to submit it on webform( already submitted my application 1 month ago) ,it's a letter that that states we are getting married December 2023 in Nigeria ) with substantial proof of our relationship , should I forward it on webform or just leave it ( don't want to complicate my SP application ). Please advice ?

Can someone please tell me what I can do about this ?
Raymondrain:
Good evening good people ,
Please I just completed my application online with all the required documents and I tried to pay but keep declining the transaction ( Dollar card ) . After trying again it says my application is on process but my account has not yet been debited yet and the "Action key" doesn't have any status of my application .
Please what does it mean ?
Is that normal

Thank you @Makano and justmellow. I'll do that .

Hello Raymondrain

1. In as much as the closing balance is important, the transaction history i.e inflow and outflow of a statement of account is also very important... The Visa Officer also looks out for the inflow and outflow of an Account... Even though I have seen on this thread(part 16) of a self-applicant getting a Visa with a closing balance of 500k (after paying his full school fees)such cases are very rare... So this is my advice as regards this, If you are resuming next year Fall i.e September of next year, let your mum build her account for a few more months before you apply, since she gets money regularly into her account...

2. 1st year payment of fees is what is expected and you must show you have funds for your living expenses and Missileneous for a year...

3. You must submit her Statement of account and the relevant documents since she is your Co-sponsor..

Peace

Thank you @Justmellow, the funds in her account is just 1m closing balance at the moment but will increase by june next year when her rental income comes in and I'm 29 y.o. should I wait till those funds enter her account. What's your suggestion ?
I'm working and I do have a good reasonable monthly income.
I already paid for the first year and I have the living expense available for the first year.
JustMellow:
Hello Raymondrain,

Stating your age would have been helpful. Based on your post, you should be the sole sponsor. Get your mom to send your second year's tuition to your account and provide you with a Letter of Support, and supporting evidence for her source of income. This way, the need to include her bank statement won't be necessary if it is not available.

She can demonstrate in the letter her capability to support your study financially as well as give any useful information too. If you are married, demonstrate the provisions made to sustain your family in your absence.

If you can go for a one-year program, do so. This will enable you to set up a GIC for your LE in addition to the full tuition fee paid. If this is not possible, you can still set up a GIC to support the payment of your first-year fees whilst you can still show the second year's funds in your account or a fixed deposit. This is just for demonstration.

Best of Luck

Hello Gurus,
Please I have a question I would like to ask.
I'm a self sponsored applicant , I'm applying very soon for my study permit , my mom is my co sponsor .
1. She's a businesswoman , she has a good inflow and outflow funds in her account but not very good closing balance due to the fact she utilize her funds for her building projects( she's a real estate developer and also a lessor ) can I use her SOA like that even though she's a co sponsor.
2. I'm going for a 2 years PGD and I have all the funds covered for the first year but not for the second year ( I've got a steady income monthly in my SOA ). I paid for the first year already and I got like 6.5m left in my account. Is it enough or I need more for the first year ?
3. Can I apply for the SP without her(Mother) SOA. since she has like 1m closing balance but with great inflow and outflow .I have enough documents to backup her source , proof and availability of funds , I'm just worried about her closing balance .

Please I hold someone can help me answer some of my concern .

Good evening house ,
Please I would like to ask a question. I have a savings and domicialliary bank account. Is it okay if I transfer 10k USD( first year living expenses and miscellaneous ) from my naira savings account to Dom account . Is it okay ? or I better transfer it gradually or just leave the funds in my naira account .
PN: I'm a self sponsored applicant.

Please your reply response is needed!!

Aijay26:
POF= Tuition fee + 10,000 + 3000 ( flight tickets and all).!
Then again if you are the main sponsor where will the next tuition and maintenance fee come from? Do you have a current business or assets that can generate those funds for you?.

2. The tuition for first year is 14k .

2) Write the tuition of your program. First year tuition

Hello Gurus ,

Please I have a question I need to ask, I'm planning to re-applying for my study permit soon ( I was refused 2019 ) and I used my mother as sponsor in my previous application but I'm the main sponsor this time.
My question is :

1.I paid half of the tuition fees requested by the school (7000CAD) and my closing balance is 8m. And also my co sponsor( mother ) is sending me 3m for living expense for first year. Is the POF in my account enough to reapply ? Whereas I'm going for 2 years PGD( 14k CAD PER YEAR ) .

2. When filling the application form ,do I have to subtract the 7000Cad. I paid already from the first year tuition or just write the full first year tuition and I should not subtract it ?

Please I hope my questions can be answered.

God bless

Hello Gurus,

Please I need your answers to some questions .
I applied for my study permit 2 years ago in Abu Dhabi and ofcourse it was rejected due to so many loopholes in my application ( lack of education progression , lack of home ties and few more refusal grounds ). I have a bachelor degree in hospitality management and now I'm going for PGD in hospitality management in Canada.

My questions are ;

1. Is it recommended if I come back to Nigeria to apply for the SP application ?

2. Which is recommended for the application , paper based or online based ?

Please your help is appreciated !!

Austacus:
”I am not a guru” and this is my contribution

Why do Nigerians keep falling into the trap of diploma? Why?
Isn't it obvious they don't value the diploma from Nigerians?
With the influx of refusal rates on the diploma, why do we keep falling into this trap?
Ever since Last year, I haven't seen any diploma visa approval (please someone should come here and prove me wrong).

This is one of the things ”@vibrant99” have been saying... ”Nigeria doesn't like hearing the truth”.

Lord knows anything about diploma am not gonna say pekem again.

Brother, do the needful so that heaven will help you.

You've been refused 3 times plus this 4th times, did you tackle the 3 refusals application before the 4th one?
Did you order your Gcms notes in all your previous application before the 4th refusal came up?

My 1 dollar advises to you now, order for your Gcms in your 1,2,3,4 applications before you go for the 5 application.
Don't rush, I've seen someone in this thread that got approved in his 6th application @galala123.
I believe you will get it in your 5th application if only you help yourself

I can't say anything more about this profile cause I don't know if the problem could come from your 1,2 or 3 application.

If you have a work permit visa or study permit visa or PR in UAE then the problem is not prolly because you applied in UAE but if you're on a visiting visa then that could be one of the problems here.

Your profile is good but I didn’t see police character certificate (which is very important if you applying from abroad), letter of reference and Affidavits of sponsor.

Good luck
Thank you for the reply... But I have a UAE working permit.... Well my plan now is to apply from home... I never ordered for gcms note because I never knew something that can shed more light regarding my application exist(gcms note) but I will order for it as soon as possible

Thanks and God bless

TFLASHOGEE:
sorry for your delay you can simply share your profile so the gurus in the house can help you point out some few errors made. and was your app processed in Nairobi.
thank you...
This are the docs I submitted:
Personal education docs:
High school cert and transcript
Back cert and transcript
CV
Passport
Admission letter and receipt of confirmation of seat payment.
SOP
LOE
Employment letter

Financial docs( sponsor is mother)
Bank statement of around 10m
3 Land properties
Rent receipts
CAC
Letter of sponsorship dully signed and notarized
Birth certificate

Hometies:
Personal bank account of 1.3m
Siblings birth certificate and passport copy

Biggest problem was that I applied from Abu Dhabi which has extremely high rejection rate for foreigners(especially Nigerians).

Note: I have travelled to turkey, Singapore and Cyprus before so I don't understand what they mean by travel history.
Profile: have a bachelor degree in hospitality management and got admitted to NBCC for 2years diploma in hotel and restaurant management, also paid the 500cad confirmation fees.

Is it okay to come back to Nigeria to come apply? According to my fimdings, they couldn't conduct thorough background check on me because am not applying from Nigeria.

Please gurus, what's your suggestions?

@nuelzs this is my fourth rejection and am so devastated.

Thank you.... I have been refused before though and I declared my refusal on the application form.... Hope it won't have any negative effect on my application?
Frankrobbn1:
Your application is undergoing a background check. The visa officer is matching the information you provided with their records, if you previously committed a crime, refused a visa, ordered to leave a country and if you are a threat to their security or on a wanted watch list and also confirming the authenticity of the bank statement you submitted with your application.

Be hopeful! It shall end in praises.
