If mum or mum in love is strong enough to care for a child, kindly let your child be with either of them if your husband isn't joining U. I'm giving U this counsel as a person that came to Aussie (study) with a child. I almost run mad... No even try think am favouruby: |
Showing Access to (Sponsor's) fund If your sponsor isn't your spouse, parents or siblings e.g Your in-law: Let your sponsor pay Ur tuition directly from his/her account and attached evidence and explicitly state it in Ur GTE statement. Oyibo concept of r/ship isn't as broad as Africans esp with money mata, so dem no bliv say because person marry Ur sis/bro dem go dey dash U 💰. It's your job to validate Ur claim... The visa officer will see your situation is unique. Best of luck to all hopefuls |
Chibexe:Answer: Non. |
zaheeradewale:STUDY GAP: in your GTE statement, explain what you have been doing since after ND, show the evidence that you have been working (like u mentioned...) If you haven't bn working, don't tell lies to complicate issues for yourself. If for instance, u have have bn helping your parents in their trade without any salary evidence, just say it and move on... It won't count against you. I do not think your age is an issue. Let your GTE statement be logical, connect properly and evidenced. Proof of fund on point Submit required and verifiable documents, etc. Best of luck in this journey... |
henrychubayo:Your Birth Certificate appear not to have the hospital name nor letter head, I would suggest you get 'Attestation of Birth' Certificate from National Population Commission for your Visa application |
afam4life:Unless you are traveling as a family unit with plenty luggage space (Kg) ,Garri is too heavy, use your luggage space wisely. You will get garri, poundo yam, amala and palm oil etc., from African shop. Bring : 1.Seasoning cubes (maggi, royco, Knorr,etc)- thank me later 2. Stockfish 3. Ogbonor (grinded, package in transparent bag and labelled) 4. dry bitter leave (if needed) 5. cray fish (grinded, , package in transparent bag and labelled) |
henrychubayo:The University of Western Australia (UWA) |

paradigmshift:Ought to. At the moment, she can update her marriage status and add your full name as it appears on your Passport. However, you would need to provide acceptable document for proof of marriage when applying for your visa If you do not have Registry Certificate, another option is to find out if your both families can approach a Customary Court to issue you a document confirming that the marriage was conducted and legit. Make a photocopy of the certificate (go with original too) issued and take this document to either a Notary Public or government parastatal that certify documents. in addition to this, do a change of name in any National paper for your wife (use to be 10K). if you have all the documents I have mentioned, you will be alright. As soon as she edit, upload and click the submission button on her immi account after filling the change of circumstances information that is it. Home Affairs will receive the infor immediately. You can check the duration of the outcome of Subsequent entrant Visa on Home Affairs website. However, based on experience, patience is a skill you and your wife would need to master- surely you will get your visa grant if you submit the right/verifiable documents and meets the visa requirement. Best of luck. NOTE: Muslims can use the marriage certificate issued to them by their Imam (Registry is not the only acceptable document) Add a change of name publication too |
I'm still hoping to find someone coming to Perth and willing to help me bring some hair accessories (not more than 'Hand luggage quantity') in exchange for small cash. Item would be waybill to you in time to enable you check and re-package. Contact me if you can help. My initial offer of free Airport pick-up still stands regardless... |
paradigmshift:I don't know if someone already address your question, but here is the answer. Your agent is correct only if the evidence of your marriage is prior or exist at the time of your spouse Student Visa application. Since your marriage is after your wife got her Visa, here is the way to go- On her immi account, she would need to update a change in her circumstances (Marriage status from single to married) and provide evidence. I'm not sure about what evidence you would use since what you have done is Traditional marriage (also in absentia). Once the issue of proof of marriage (marriage certificate, photos, etc) is settled, application for Subsequent entrant (your application ) is breeze |

1. You have the option of including the Subsequent entrant in the existing OSHC of the Primary applicant (Upgrade) 2. Buy separate cover from a different provider (Insurance company) Note: I have used option two in the past before withdrawing the application due to Covid-19. Having same Insurance provider simplifies things for you but it isn't an immigration requirement. Immigration requirement is to have health cover (from approved Provider) for the entire period of you stay/visa |
Paulpaul4real:You can apply for your dependents by yourself. Documents to submit: 1. Proof of fund (if required) 2. Health Cover for dependents, same end date as your health Cover duration 3. Proof of r/ship e.g Marriage Certificate, family album, etc. 4. Police Xter Certificate 5. Int'L passports 6. Children birth certificate 7. GTE statement 8. Child's Immunisation history certificate 9. Medical 10. Biometrics 11. Declare any previous visa denial (if any) The documents checklists should provide some guide. Unless you really don't understand the visa application process, U don't need an agent. Note: Under Sub-Class 500 visa, you need to select 'Subsequent Entrants' when applying for your dependents. Cheers! |
Amy2021:Border Force would likely trash your melon if not grinded. Seeds and nuts easily import weevil, worm, plant diseases... If you can, Pack your grinded melon in commercial style because sometimes they also don't allow melon at all. |
Razgas:I'm not sure if Dubai Drivers Licence can be exchanged. You can find out from Department of Transport (DOT). If it's not transferable, U would need to an online driving scenario test followed by actual driving test. |
Razgas:Possible with some employers if you have Australian Driver Licence. If you are already enrolled in the course, some employers will employ you as well. Check 'Indeed' and 'Seek' for disability jobs and read through, you never know... |
Razgas:I'm just seeing your message now. Once you search " Certificate III or IV in Disability you would see plenty training institute. By the way, I'm a woman. Welcome to Perth... May your stay be blessed |
Razgas:No wahala |
Amy2021:because E far and have relatively low travellers going dia compare to em cousins... |
1. Is there anyone coming to Perth in July/August and traveling light who wouldn't mind to help me bring some items (hair accessories- hand luggage space required) in exchange for few cash? The item will be waybill to you in time so as to let u check and bag it on your own 2. I will pick and drop U off at your accommodation anywhere in Perth. Note: I'm willing to pick anyone coming to Perth from Airport - Accommodation regardless. Available on Mondays and Saturdays, could do other days if arrival time suits... . |
or=Muslimah1200 post=111824233] Wow cheapest and I’m seeing $7k+ AUD[/quote]You can compare your OSHC price here: https://oshcaustralia.com.au/en You will get the cheapest @ ahm OSHC, Medibank, CBHS MOST EXPENSIVE: nib, Allianz Care, Bupa couple or Multiple cover( family with children) is expensive because it is assumed that family tend to be sick 'together' or in cluster which increases claims from the policy provider |
EngrCGD:You would be asked if you smoke and/or take alcohol. I don't think weed in Ur sys is a big deal. Their main focus would be on Ur chest x-ray ( esp as a smoker) while screening for TB. |
Ropodinho1960:A classmate of mine got a denial in 2019 for similar reasons apart from age (she was 27). Her agent (female) put in a strong and wordy defence for her appeal. One of her counter-arguments was that strong ties cannot be limited to marriage as her aged parents serve as strong family ties in the absence of marriage, and that to describe ties in terms of marriage alone amount to stigmatizing people who have personal reasons to be unmarried at the given time... If you have shown anywhere in your GTE (backed by evidence) that you have property(ies), OR if you hold decisive position in your family e.g 'first born, First son, in charge of family biz, pictures showing you and your family members particularly your mother, go ahead and give it a try. Exhaust your options, it can't be worse than already. If your argument is cultural based (first born Trad/Cultural duties, blah blah blah); show them personal/family related proof and also refer them to well-known African literature(s) that explains these roles better- Chinua Achebe's 'Things Fall Apart' & Ola Rotimi's 'The gods are not to blame' might have suitable plot... If the cost of appealing is within your budget and you can equally stand a 'final' No, then go for appeal and know that you gave it your best shot- on this occasion. Note: offshore applicants can appeal unless the rules have changed and I'm behind the news.. Best of luck |
donforeign:As in, you wan use Oluwole apply to Australian University ? I dey help you laugh/cry. I'm out of here... |
Kimikenzy:Google 'Nigerian Association of WA' It's the umbrella body for Nigerians in WA. I gathered, the youth wing has a WhatsApp group... |
donforeign:I'm going to assume that having ND means you're relatively young (perhaps in ur twenties), if that's the case, U may want to explore the route of a Diploma (e.g Diploma in Nursing, Diploma of Community Service, etc.) because your budget is slim, U want to invest carefully and smartly from the onset and not consider course change as per PR ( choice Ur course wisely) The other thing to do is to be ready to put in the work/research and ask relevant questions along the way- trust me, this thread has the pretty face humanity... If you choose this part, I would suggest U apply for your visa by 'yasef' to save cost- you can do it, nothing dey dia. If you need help with list of documents and GTE proofreading and someone to critique GTE statement, I might be able to 'one time's Finally, I have observed that Nigerians hardly get Aussie Visa via Diploma courses OR maybe because we are highly educated or amass degrees so Diploma isn't common. BUT, you never know... Note: I suggested Diploma because it's less expensive, reduced Proof of fund and you can also pay your way thru easy... If you bliv and put the work, your dreams will walk ... |

Starting from March 3rd, travellers who are triple-Vax would be allowed into WA without quarantine/Self-isolation |
TheBoy95:I'm not sure about the implications of making a U-turn on the stated... However, you can still go ahead to apply for pass and put a date that's after the 14days U mentioned. Once granted, U fly to WA as an interstate traveller rather than international traveller (because U spend 14days in another State) Note that the pass is 'date-restricted' as U have only few days in addition to your proposed fly in date. Quarantine or Self-Isolation is now 7days |
