First, when Australian Govt says have your 1yr living expenses and other financial requirements proof handy, it's an interpretation of the reality that confronts you when you land. If you come to Australia with the spiritual mentality of 'when I reach the bridge I go cross am' e go shock you enter depression and maybe you fit trek enter Paupa New Guinea �

On a serious note, the reality is that it takes time for most people to get jobs that can pay their tuition straight way except for few furtunate people who already have friends and family here before they land or like you said if you meet good person to give you the right info on where and how to get job ASAP.

Long story short, we are here and we won't gain anything from discouraging others from coming but we will continue to give survival tips based on our or others experiences to help people avoid terrible mistakes with likely grave consequences and come here at least averagely prepared.

I haven't come across anyone discouraging people from studying in Australia. Everyone says make sure you have your first year tuition at hand. Yes, there are jobs in Australia but it took me almost a year to get a good paying job that could pay my tuition and that includes after asking for extension and in some cases taking out loans to meet up with the deadline despite my "good paying job". Do you want people to paint an unrealistic version of Australia and then get accused of lying ?
Just because ScoMo said that 750k jobs will be recovered doesn't necessarily mean it will in all sectors. Once people gets here they realise they are on their own and except you come across angels disguised as humans to help you in times of need, it will be really hard sometimes.
I think this all comes down to understanding what people wrote in the context they did and getting clarification where needed.

I would honestly advice you try evaluating it to be sure...all the options we know or have is because people tried it and shared testimonies... There are several certificates that people have brought here and many said it won't fly but they went on to evaluate and it was successful... Just try your luck .
