OP..i dont support you at all.

My best friend from 100lvl started dating his wife when we were in 200lvl and this was in 2006. We all graduated togeda in 2010, NYSC seperated us all, the babe kept visiting the guy in Abuja and the rltnshp kept running smooth. We all got retained in our respective coy's aldo the guy was transfered to Yola, fast-forward again to Dec. 2014, this guy came to Lagos, they had their introduction, few days after, the guy was transfered out from Yola to Lagos. He was gonna be stranded and didnt have all the knowledge of living in Lagos yet, so he had to put up with me from that December 2014, den she started coming again and they both practically lived with me in the couples life nature. October 2015, they got a flat not far from my street, december 2015, dey got married and moved into their flat fully

Morale of the story, they were both age mates, class mates, sa course sef. They agreed to keep the rltnshp to the end, not minding woteva d society was going to tag them at dat early stage, dey focused on the future, now happily married with pregnancy that will come to term at the due time as I reply dis post.

If you decide to live a couples lifestyle with your yahoo boy bf or club boy or serious broda etc, just be sure that its someone you can plan your life with. Am not a girl, but am sure most of the girls doing this always hope for the best at the last, what one should now be sure of is that you are picking the right guy to do all this wifey shits with.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Christianity EtcWhy Are We Like This? by RayRed16(op): 5:55pm On Sep 13, 2016
I just read a thread about pastor Iginla who gave out humanitarian services the other day. It amazed me to see the amount of criticisms it generated.

Why do we attack men of God like this? If an ordinary biz man (be he a Muslim or a Christian) gives out to ppl and makes it public, nobody complains. Instead we applaud them. But when pastors do exactly same thing we castigate and attack them. And the sad part of the whole thing is that these attackers are supposedly Christians.

I don't argue for long periods bro.

Nothing is wrong in teaching.

But

Pray so that you won't be noticed. That was taught.

This doesn't look like a crusade to me even in a 100years.
Maybe u don't argue for long, but u r arguing on the wrong grounds.

U see a group of young men showing the right way to handle issues, and u said they shouldn't let the world know about it? How then do u want the right message/attitude to be spread? Left for u, anything (good) about Christianity should be done in top secrecy. Next time when someone would put up a pic of friends who gathered to have a meal and hold hands and gave thanks to God, you'd crtitisize it too, saying they r showing off. Isn't that the right kind of showing off?

Meanwhile, I'm done with u. Have a nice day.

I appreciate good things more than you can ever imagine bro.

And stop juxtaposing madness (worldliness) with doing what is right. People who wanna be stupid are free. They are also free to snap and video their nudes. I look away when I see it.

However, if you wanna follow the right path, do it properly. That's my concern.

A right action done in a wrong way nullifies the rightness in that action.

The only lesson I can see here is "pray, snap the process and put it on social media"
Bros, with respect to the bone of contention, there isn't an iota of wrong in what they did.

If we were to follow ur line of thought, churches or miniseries who organize crusades should not advertise it on social media abi? Or they shouldn't advertise their miracle session or prayer summit sessions on TV or social media abi?

You have no line of argument here.

Even if those guys intentionally snapped the pix and uploaded it on social media, what's wrong with them teaching ppl what they believe (which actually) is the right way to handle entering into a marriage?

Pray in order not to be noticed. That was taught.

It is a pity you don't understand this simple thing
And who told u these ones were praying in order to be noticed? How can u assuredly say it was one of them praying that uploaded the picture so u could notice?

But even if it were so, what's wrong with teaching a dying world how to go about certain things? In a generation whereby the Godly things are being subtittued on a daily basis with "civilization that's actually anti-God".

In summary, bros, appreciate good things.

All for the camera! But anyways, it is necessary! @nameerfhtennek's marital issue which is just a thread above this one comes to mind.

BTW, the groom na handsome guy (no homo)
Is it not better to have such things on camera than half clad bridal train or a stripper in a bachelor's party?

Its more of a stunt than it is a prayer.

I agree with you.
Why is it that u guys always attack good things? And if time is not taken, u might be Christians (or at least claim to profess Christ). Why can't u just admire good things?

If they were partying in a yacht now, you'd say "that's correct". What kinda generation is this?

Almost eradicating and Eradicated are 2 different things...

Power supply is stabilizing as we speak

We have 14 new solar power plant coming up

4,000MW Mambilla power plant is coming up

IPPs are going up in Kano, Kaduna and so on

Dangote Gas plant means more than enough Gas for our gas starved power plants

Dangote power plant is set to generate whooping 12,000MW less than 2 years from now

6,000 installed capacity

1,275MW solar

4,000MW Mambilla

12,000MW Dangote

= 25,000MW

We will have steady power supply in less than 4 years..

Yes, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This has nothing to with APC or any political party, this is reality...
Areas, I think its wrong to say we've eradicated the power issues....but these ur detailed explanations really gave rise to hope. I really pray they all come to fruition.

Hmm. Lol. Pampering? Ok na. Not doing cucumber oo. I'm doing sweet pepper instead. It appears it would be easier.

My brother, I guess it is...lol. it paid off tho
Lols. Ok. I once used "what someone said to be too much manure" on watermelon last yr. The leaves where very good looking and broad. But the plants didn't produce any fruit. More than 3000 plants. I was wondering what went wrong. Someone told me I used too much manure. That when manure is used in the excess on fruiting vegies, that they tend to produce very good looking foliage without fruits. But from the look of things, it appears cukes r really big feeders.

Morning great ppl.

I prepared tigernut milk yesterday evening. Bottled them and put them in the fridge, only to find the sour this morning. And there has been power supply since last night! So my question is, was there something I was supposed to do that I didn't do? Or did I do something I wasn't supposed to do?

The nuts were tasting very fresh when I was preparing the milk. Please guys, I need answers. Thanks.

And if you've seen what I've seen, you won't be this blindly patriotic (no offence pls, just a figure of expression). There is evil in this country - deep, dark evil

No offence taken. I know there is evil in naija, there is no gainsaying that. But evil is everywhere too. And this is not a question of me trying to be patriotic. Its just that running away from ur country to another man's isn't wisdom. Its ppl that built that place u wanna run to. So why don't u do something about urs?

Bros just calm down. How is leaving the country the option? Where in the world is really safe? US, Germany, France? Do u watch CNN? There is evil everywhere. And I wonder how you'd be calling ur country a demon infested country and still expecting something good out of her...

On the other hand, if the couple were murdered and the children kidnapped, who then saw them take turns on the woman? Don't u think this story is either incomplete or get k-leg?

I think it's more of a publicity stunt

The mother uploaded this video, consciously and fully aware of her outfit

She's no better than the daughter
And beating is not the most effective way to correct a child, it sows stubbornness, hatred, anger in the mind of the child
The best way to correct a child is show love and have a open heart talk

If she likes make she continue beating her
DOG WEY GO LOST NO DEY HEAR THE HUNTERS WHISTLE
Foolishness abound in the heart of a child, but a rod of correction will drive it far away from him (the bible says).

I'm not a fan of beating things shaa. Just wanna point out that heart to hear talks brings wisdom, but doesn't drive away foolishness. In summary, there is a place of beating and there is a place of talking in raising a child.

Its really interesting/funny how we lambast and criticise ppl we dont know anything about. More than 98% of ppl (I assume) saying negative things about this man Rev Biodun doesn't even know him! They've never seen him or heard him speak, so why judge and condemn this man already, and so harshly?

I've heard many ppl say stuff like how he is living a flamboyant life off ppl's offerings and tithes and all that....how his church members are gullible and all what not.

Guys, don't always believe everything u hear or read on the media. Get to know the person before judging and condemning.

The other time, a post was made here on nairaland depicting coza flight crew...and many ppl were already spewing stuff...not knowing it's complete falasy! Don't be so fast to condemn something u know nothing about.

My two cents though.
AgriculturePls Where Are The Sweet Pepper Farmers In The House? by RayRed16(op): 6:13pm On Jul 15, 2016
Please I need answers to these questions from experienced sweet pepper farmers:

(A) Do sweet pepper plants require staking (is it a must)?

(B) Is it true that sweet pepper plant doesn't require much manure/fertilizer application? (I read somewhere that too much manure/fertilizer application will make the plant produce plenty foliage at the expense of fruit production).

Please I need answers to these questions. Thanks a lot!

Now my question is, is the flooding associated with run gun bigger than that associated with normal rainfall?

On the other hand, I was thinking one can control the amount of flooding rain gun can cause by not watering a given area of land so deep....

I was talking with my friend the other day....one thing led to another and we started discussing family/marriage stuff(we r both singles)....

And I was like "u know, I love my mom so much and she is the number 1 woman in my life....But once I get married, my mom would become the number 2 woman in my life, while my wife becomes the number 1 woman in my life....And when I hv a daughter, my mom becomes the number 3 woman in my life, while my daughter becomes number 2, and my wife still remains the number 1, unnegotiable"!

And my friend was like "dude, are u ok"?

But I strongly believe that's how a man should make his marriage be, if he wants to have a good marriage....

What do u think people?
