It all started in 2008, after gaining admission into college, I saw her d first day in class and we were best of friends, I ate her food like she does to mine except if she cooked pork or uses its fat which she will tell.ahead, we sleep at each others houses, our bond was really strong that even when I was sick, she took very good care of me. But one incidence happened that I will never forget and which our Nigeria n pastors are guilty of. One Sunday, my friend went to church to worship, me been eager to meet my friend as a Muslim after service was shocked at my new greeting style from my friend. Welcome book.haram, this means my friend has been brainwashed at church that all.Muslims are book haram. I was dissapointed that how could a pastor spoil our friendship with negative intuition about Islam. She later found a new christian friend from same church which affected her academically.
My concern is why are some preachers the spreader of hate speech towards humanity? This hate speech has broke many loving relationship. If you have any negative thought about a sect, keep it to yourself, do not spread it to your congregation, this applies to both Muslims and Christians. Why do we spread our perception which mostly are wrong about others without verification.
My fear is that if care is not taken, these preachers will end up.making us kill our own families all because of their selfish interest of fame and money.
Nigerians should learn to shuffle words when downloaded to them at any place. May God shower is peace and mercy to the country. God bless Nigeria.

From mine understanding, jalabi is symbolic with modern medicine. Before the present medical system, jalabi has been in existence, people treat humans with leaves and all sort of. Even those against it, why reading ruqyah, isnt that jalabi in disguise, so far u use the quran for any healing or solve problem u are already into jalabi. Look at Alhaji sulaiman Adegunwa of Ososa. He used to spend money on Islam. Look at eleganza. Look at Dangote, Tinubu and so many more of them that can fund Muslims but they don't trust Muslim leaders that are close to poor Muslims so they keep to themselves. I learned not too long ago that when Tinubu was governor some Alfas used to visit him only for their pocket instead of Muslim concerns. my mentor told me he built islamic school with no assistance coupled with many islamic project the man his embarking on. I actually planned a week visit just to see how things look like, especially your roads. It was not wise to make long trip to ilorin since i dont know how things look like now especially with sad news we have heard many times about nigerian roads. I was just thinking crazy about arguments back and forth. Makes no sense. I was thinking a lot about ways to utilize mawlid holiday. There is a lot muslims can do with the holiday. It is also a means of Dawah. I mapped out my opinion about it few weeks ago to someone offline but i dont understand how nigerian muslims think.

Ulama in nigeria (at least Yoruba) should use famous open field in Lagos like Tinubu sq, Lekki, Tafawa Balewa sq , Ikoyi etc and organize a very big space for series of programs. Mallam Yusuf Adepoju, Ustaz Agbeti, Ustaz Jamiu Adegunwa and all the comparative should spend an hr or more to give lecture televised on live big screen. Alongside them Alfa oni figh and sharia give short lectures on this aspect that address muslims. Alongside, there should be learned men of tasawwuf or islamic spirituality also give lectures for like 30 mins. Also have stage play islamically. Pick short story from islamic history and trained some muslims like we did back in the 90s. We staged play about the conversion story of S. Umar(ra). I acted alfa for Saheed and Fatima(Umar's daughter). They should also have sensible islamic singers also for few minutes. Then sound alfa who know seerat ul nabi to narrate some story about the prophet and many other activities. This is far better than arguments over validity of Mawlid every year. This makes no sense.

If they do this they will attract big donors from muslims and non muslims, and money generated from mawlid goes to charity account or foundation for muslims to alleviate poverty not to be pocketed by some people. So muslims don't have to beg non muslims for food or pastors taking advantage of them. But it seems current generation of muslims in yorubaland are mentally deficient(astagfirullah). Islam does not in any shape or form condemns anything to promote islam even if such means were not done by Nabi, Sahaba, tab'in, tab'in ta'in etc.

Islam is very flexible in this area. There is no room for rigidity. If christians have opportunity to have christian holidays 3 times a week they would take it and make good use of it. But muslims are very sick. We have hadith that support this gathering bcuz this gathering is for Allah and his message. This is exactly what Mawlid is about. This is one sunnah


Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) narrates that Muawiyah (RA) came to a group of people in the mosque and said, “… The Messenger of Allah (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) came to a group of his Companions in the mosque and said, ‘Why are you sitting?’ They said, ‘We are sitting remembering Allah and paying our thanks to Him for His favour of guiding us to Islam.’ The Holy Prophet (SAW) said, ‘Do you say that on oath that is what has made you sit here?’ They submitted, ‘By Allah we are sitting here only for this purpose.’ The Holy Prophet (SAW) said, ‘I have not made you take oath for any doubt but the truth is that Gabriel came and told me that Allah is expressing His pride on you in front of angels.’”
