Yahoot: Another question. If I am one of the chosen, they must mail me or not?To tell me about the next step. Should I wait for them to mail me or proceed to the next step completing the forms?

Amefrica: There will always be October's selection..
1) 125000 Winners were registered instead of 150000..
2) Not all registered winners will continue d processing(due to financial problem, ignorance n lack of interest)
3) During d interview period, not all winners will be given visa.. Based on academic qualification, many won't have up to 5credits in O'level.. Which may result in visa denial..
Due to all these items, all visas won't be exhausted, which will result in another random selection/release of 2nd batch winners.. I STAND TO BE ADJUSTED

I really appreciate. My HND statement of result is still not out yet, should I include the HND in my form as part of my qualification, cos I already filled it while playing the lottery? Again, how long will it take for KCC to reply and give interview date?

if you are a lucky selectee for DV2014,your interview is determined by your CASE NUMBER,all DV2014 further processing are scheduled to start from september 2013( those with low case numbers will become current and interviews starts october 2013) through to september 30th 2014,I don't know your how high you case number is but I believe before then you result should be released, and DNT change ur education level,since you started with it, continue with it

Journi2America: My guy commot mind from that tin. They have registered upto 125,000 selectees so far. So even though you are selected today, na highcase number they will give u... Start praying for the possibility and eligibility of Nigeria for DV programme 2015...GBAM.........u can still check ur status by 22nd of Oct, 2013...........after then commot hope patakpataOoo

I 1ce came across a writeup in DV2013 thread that said dez no such tin as highcase number,it was funny to me wen I saw it too,according to the poster all cases will be treated,I dnt knw how true though

send only the: barcode sheet, DSP122 (for principal applicant only), DS230 part I&II,2passport photogragh 600X600 pixcel (2inches X 2 inches) only and no other document, read well the instructions before filling the forms, wishin u luck

there could be an October selection,when I printed my confirmation page,after filling my entry,it read "entrant can start checking their entry status on ESC(the official website) starting May 1st through to september 30th 2014" bt now on the website its written from 1st May through to 30th june 2014,from my own understandin d October selection is determined by the response of those selected @ this time for DV2014, if many whom were selected and are not eligible to continue the process withdraw KCC will then conduct another selection, or they might decide to do it on their own freewill, I stand to be corrected anywhere am wrong

For court and prison records: its only required by people that have been to court and served a jail term or prison, if you have ever being deported you wil need to state and tell the CO the reason for you deportation, Military record, is only needed by those whom are military personel or who have served in the army b4 now, so to custody documentation, If you have neva had any trouble d@ needs d above documents, den what you need is
Birth Certificate, police clearance,Medicals report,4 passport photograph, international Passport, and your work and school documents

I don't Believe in Nigerian politics, all I can say is both of them are lying or both are telling the truth,infact all Nigeria politians are dsame,always acting 1 movie or another for us all to watch, bt the funny aspect is, after exposin themselves,our law enforcement agencies would never think of doing dia job by investigating thoroughly with the confession made by these politians so that justice will be done.

Allohrandy: I guess you only calculated the number of visa lottery winner immigrants from 5 years back. you should know that visa lottery is not the only way to immigrate to US. In-fact the easiest way to immigrate to the US is through marriage to a US citizen ; there are thousands of Nigerians who get married to US citizens. For example, there are thousands of Nigerian-Americans who come back home to get married to Nigerians. Also many Nigerian students and overstay Nigerians in the States end up getting married to Americans and end up getting the green-card.. so if you add the number Spouse visa and Visa lottery green card in the past 5 years I guess it should be more than 50000. The reason why countries like China and Mexico have never be qualify for the visa lottery is because the number of spouse visa green-card every 5 years exceed 50000. So I won't be surprise if Nigeria is not qualify for the next 5 years too.

Ma question here is to enlighting all of us here, sometime ago b4 I registered for DV2014,I was havin a background check so that I wunt fall into the hands of fraudsters,I came across a government link,have bin checkin so I could post,@ that time I read this "that a country becomes ineligible if that country has sent more than 50000 immigrants to USA within the 5 previous years", I min 5yrs back, bt I saw and calculate from www.travel.state.gov within 5yrs Nigeria dint send such an amount, please enlightin us, is it th@ the calculation is from 1996 till date or from 5yRs back,I really need mature minded people to answer to dis question, Boss @ Justwise would appreciate if u have sometin to say base on experience and base on ur level of achievment, and pls any comentin should nt insult oda pipus opinion, thank you
