I rate my governor in Abia state 1/10.The man has done virtually nothing apart frm looting d state dry.Civil servants both in d state & LGA are owed salaries for more than 6 months now.There is the rumour that the governor recently aquired a ship worth more than N60b during his last vacation to the US.

The university is adopting Collegiate system of academic administration. It shall commence with three colleges namely
College of Humanities with courses in History/International Studies and Language/ Literary Studies,
College of Natural and Applied Sciences with courses in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics and
College of Social and Management sciences with courses in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Administration, Economics and Political Science.

QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the University for the 4 year uninterrupted degree programme listed above. All candidates applying for admission must have sat for the March 24, 2012 JAMB-UTME Examination and are expected to have met the JAMB cut-off score of 180 and above.
Those who choose other universities in their UTME are free to apply.
Candidates seeking admission into the school must have at least 5 credits in five subjects obtained at one or two sitting s at WASSCE, NECO, GCE (O/L). For those seeking admission in the college of Humanities, English Language is compulsory.
For those seeking admission in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, their five subjects must include English, Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
For candidates seeking admission into the College of Social and Management Sciences, their five subjects must include; English Language, Mathematics and Economics.
