Roy Hodgson has left his post as England manager following the national team’s shock 2-1 defeat to Iceland in their Euro 2016 last-16 tie on Monday evening.

Hodgson’s decision to quit comes as no surprise following England’s loss to a country competing at their first major tournament and with a population of just 329,000 – comparable to Coventry.

The coaches Ray Lewington and Gary Neville have also left the Football Association.

“I’m extremely disappointed of course about tonight’s result and ultimately our exit from the competition,” Hodgson said. “We haven’t progressed as far as I thought we were capable of, and that’s obviously not acceptable.

“I’m actually proud of the work my coaching staff and I have achieved over our time at the helm of England. The transition from the squad whose average age was 30 to now being the youngest in the tournament is both remarkable and exciting for the future of English football. I would have loved to stay on for another two years.

“However, I am pragmatic and I know we are in the results business. My contract was always up after the Euros, so now is the time for someone else to oversee the progress of this young, hungry and extremely talented group of players. They have been fantastic and have done everything that has been asked of them. When I arrived I was told players didn’t turn up to play for their country or that they pulled out at the last minute. I have not seen any of that. These players love to play for their country and their commitment has been unquestioned.

“Ray and Gary arrived with me as part of my coaching team and will leave with me. I’d like to thank them for their dedicated support and for the major part they’ve played in our team preparation. The defeat by Iceland is arguably the most embarrassing in England’s history and also extended Hodgson’s poor record at major tournaments since he succeeded Fabio Capello in May 2012. The former West Browmich Albion manager leaves England with an impressive qualifying record and having given a host of exciting young players, including Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford, their international debuts. David Cameron has announced his resignation after the British public rejected his personal entreaties and voted to leave the European Union.

“The will of the British people is an instruction that must be delivered,” the prime minister said, his voice breaking with emotion, and his wife Samantha standing at his side in Downing Street.

Cameron promised to remain in post until the autumn, to “steady the ship”, but said: “I do not think it would be right for me to be the captain who steers the country to its next destination.”

He revealed that he had already spoken to the Queen to make his plans clear; but would not yet trigger article 50, the clause in the EU’s Lisbon treaty that kicks off a two-year withdrawal process.

His dramatic announcement came after a sharp fall in the pound and as £128bn was wiped off the FTSE 100.

Cameron said: “I am honoured to have been prime minister of this country for six years.”

Earlier on Friday, Nigel Farage, the Ukip leader, became the first party leader to call for Cameron to go, saying what Britain needed was a “Brexit prime minister”.

Cameron’s team in Downing Street were shocked and distraught by the narrow win for leave, after polls had suggested a move towards a comfortable margin for remain in the final few days of campaigning.

The prime minister and the chancellor, George Osborne, had gambled their political futures on the historic referendum, which was called to settle the deep divide within their own party.

But a narrow victory for remain early in the night for Newcastle, which had been expected to reject Brexit by a strong margin, set the pattern for later results, which saw voters rejecting the overwhelming advice of economic experts that leaving would be an act of “economic self-harm”.

The value of sterling slumped to a 31-year low on currency markets, and was on course for its biggest one-day loss in history, as it became increasingly clear that voters had rejected the overwhelming consensus at Westminster, and chosen to exit the European Union.

Treasury officials were preparing to implement contingency plans for calming financial markets that were drawn up in the run-up to the poll, and the governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, was also expected to make a statement.

Both the BBC and ITV called the result for leave at around 4.40am. Farage had declared victory 20 minutes earlier, having earlier conceded he had probably lost, saying the British people had achieved a revolution, “without a single bullet being fired”.

Farage also criticised the pledge, at the centre of the cross-party Vote Leave campaign’s appeal to the public, to claim that leaving the EU would free up £350m a week to be spent on public services.

“This, if the predictions now are right, this will be a victory for real people, a victory for ordinary people, a victory for decent people,” he said.

Farage had been criticised for what some saw as the divisive tone of Leave.EU’s campaign, including a controversial poster picturing a queue of migrants, with the slogan, “Breaking Point”.

The prime minister had planned to announce a series of policy initiatives immediately, to reunify his fractured party and relaunch the government.

Instead his team in Downing Street were contemplating the end of their political project.

James McGrory, the Stronger In campaign’s chief spokesman, told the Guardian: “From the campaign’s point of view, the British voter has spoken, and we respect their decision, but it is now over to the government. Our role here is done.”

Gisela Stuart, the Labour MP who had backed the cross-party Vote Leave campaign, gave part of her victory speech in German, saying Britain would remain an open and friendly country.

“People were given the impression they had no choice but to remain, but they voted to Leave. It is incumbent on all of us to be very calm and remember our responsibility for the future of the United Kingdom,” she said.

The shadow chancellor, John McDonnell, said: “People will be waking up this morning to turmoil in the markets and the pound crashing, and fearing the emergency budget the chancellor threatened to hike their taxes and cut public services.

Hilary Benn, the shadow foreign secretary, had earlier said Cameron would have to resign if the UK voted for Brexit. “If there were to be a vote to leave, then as far as the prime minister is concerned I don’t see how he is going to remain in his job for very long at all,” he said.

The Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, had earlier called for the prime minster to trigger article 50 immediately.“The whole point of the referendum was that the public would be asked their opinion, they’ve given that opinion and it’s up to parliament to act on that opinion.”

Prolific best selling author and internationally renowned preacher and business coach, Dr. Myles Munroe of Bahamas Faith Ministries International and his wife Mrs. Ruth Ann Munroe, died in a plane crash earlier today in the Bahamas. According to The Associated Press, the plane, a Lear 36 executive jet, reportedly struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, exploding on impact and crashing into the ground near a junkyard area.
The Bahamas Ministry of Transport and Aviation reported that the Lear 36 executive jet departed the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) in Nassau, Bahamas at 4:07PM for the Grand Bahama International Airport, a privately owned international airport in Freeport, Bahamas with nine people on board.
The plane crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10pm, the Ministry of Transport and Aviation said. The crash killed all nine people on board the private jet. The identities of the other people on board have not yet been confirmed. The cause of the crash was not immediately determined, though there had been heavy rain across the region. A full investigation is expected to begin on Monday.
The crash occurred as people were gathering in Grand Bahama for Dr. Munroe’s 2014 Global Leadership Forum which starts tomorrow, November, 10. Former mayor of Atlanta and former U.S Ambassador to the United Nations, Andrew Young scheduled to speak at the popular leadership forum, released the following statement through his foundation: “Ambassador Young expresses his deep sadness over the tragic death of his friends Dr. Myles and Mrs. Ruth Munroe. He offers condolences to the Munroe family and the families of the other souls who lost their lives as a result of this shocking plane crash.”

Africa’s richest woman and oil mogul, Mrs. Folorunso Alakija is also expected to speak at the leadership forum.

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State on Tuesday night denied subjecting his wife, Mrs. Clara Chime, to house arrest and has vowed to protect her from being exposed to ridicule. Chime made this denial in the presence of some journalists, his wife and her elder brother, Mr. Tony Igwe.
Also present were the governor’s siblings, Mrs. May Oji and Dr. Jide Chime, as well as Mrs. Chime’s neuro-psychiatric doctor, Dr. Aham Agumuo, among a few others. At the interview session, the governor’s wife denied sending any petition to the National Human Rights Commission alleging unlawful detention by her husband.
She also denied hiring the services of Mr. Femi Falana to seek her freedom from an alleged house arrest at the Governor’s Lodge, Enugu. Continue

There's a lot of stuff that happens in this our entertainment industry that I hear but decide not to write. A lot. Half of them y'all will not even believe. Lol. But here's one that I think all you 'amebo lovers' should know. Tonto Dikeh and D'banj have gotten quite 'close' in recent times. She has been seen severally at D'banj's home in Lekki. She's recording songs at the studio in his house and whenever she records late into the night, she spends the night there. Now, I'm not implying anything o, I'm just stating facts. And you don't have to believe my story o...hehe.
Quite a few people have seen and interacted with Tonto at D'banj's place and some even think she's his current babe because of how much time she spends there and some of the 'things' the two stars get up to ... but me I don't know that one oh, all I know is that she spends time there to further her music career and I do not know if D'banj is planning to sign her to his record label but he once said that if he signs her, she will blow!

The Headquarters of popular Lagos church Lord's Chosen and Charismatic Revival Church, founded by Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has been sealed off by the Lagos State Government for allegedly defacing and constituting environmental nuisance to its environment.
The church, located in Ijesha on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos, was shut down on Sunday Oct. 6th by officials of the Ministry of the Environment and prevented thousands of worshipers from having their Sunday service that morning.
The Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello, explained why the Church was shut down
 “The Church does not have proper sanitary system and they discharge their wastes into the canal. Most of their members trade on the expressway and we don’t want that"he said
The commissioner also said the church had a habit of burning its refuse inside the church, an action that is against the environmental and sanitation law of the state. He said the church will be re-opened only after it builds new toilets, build a sewage septic tank for the treatment of waste water, remove all illegal attachments built on drainage channels, keep the environment clean and ensure that none of its members trade on the expressway.

Thus, his luxury tax annually will be an average of N399 million.  Alhaji Aliko Dangote who has three private jets in his hanger will also pay an average of N399 million per annum.  Dr. Mike Adenuga, Jnr, whose Falcon 7x and Bombardier jet are used for personal and business purpose should pay an average of N266 million.  Governor Rotimi Amaechi and his Akwa Ibom counterpart, Governor Godswill Akpabio would shell out an average of N166.4 million annually.  Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor falls into the same category of N166.4 million naira payer.  Meanwhile, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, Jide Omokorie and Ifeanyi Ubah would pay an average of N133 million annually, while Jimoh Ibrahim falls within the N100 million category.  Furthermore, the richest woman in Nigeria, Folorunsho Alakija would spend N66 million on luxury tax.
Findings by Encomium Weekly revealed that the top 10 private jet owners who would cough millions annually on the new luxury tax are below.
The clash of the titans between the Federal Government and private jet owners reached a crescendo with the imposition of the $4,000 luxury tax on private jet owners and operators per departure.  A memo was sent to all private jet operators stating that Nigerian registered private jets would henceforth pay $3,000 for every departure, while foreign registered private jets would pay $4,000.

OMG!!! A girl cuts her friend with a razor blade after she learnt her friend(neighbor) whom she introduced to her sugar daddy went behind her back to have sex with her sugar daddy this was disclosed by an eye witness at the scene said this occurred yesterday 17th,September at Inikpi street, High level ,Makurdi , Benue State at about 11 am .I did not upload it immediately due to the fact that i wanted to get the whole story first.
According to the eye witness , as the girl went to confront her friend and the whole issue blew out of hand.That led to the girl using a razor blade on her friend and like that was not bad enough some witness at the scene took laws into their hands by stripping the girl who cut her friend naked...Ouch!
All this just for a sugar daddy whom may have other more girls hidden or may have a wife and kids lol i called it "just" but it doesn't seem like it was "just a sugar daddy" to this girls if they could risk their lives for him.
In an effort to get more information on why and what really happened, NTB (naija tidings blog ) interviewed someone closer to both feuding parties to know why and what really happened.
NTB gathered from this source that what was speculated at the scene of this disgraceful incidence was based on assumptions by witnesses and the fight did not erupt because the girl snatched her friends sugar daddy rather, it was because the girl bleeding from the cut insulted the other girls mother calling her an ashawo (prostitute). This led to this violent fiery argument and eventually assault on both feuding parties. The whole incidence was controversial and inhumane but some things were clear about the story ,two girls got into a heated argument, one was deeply cut by the other girl using a razor blade and passerby and witnesses took laws into their own hands by stripping the other girl naked and beating her
This whole situation is horrible and inhumane ...i mean is it worth all this drama and violence?

‘Hallelujah. So, what was on your mind when you invited her to the terrace of your hotel suite?’

‘That’s not the beginning. It all started when I saw her in the congregation while preaching one Sunday; she was very vibratory, especially when taken over by the spirit doing praise and worship. Praise the lord. The spirit ministered to me that she would be useful in Pastoral Care. That was why I invited her to the unit. And she was very useful. Praise the lord.’

‘Hallelujah. By ‘very useful’ you are talking about your affair with her, right?’

‘No, we didn’t have an affair; we had an understanding. Praise the lord.
‘Really? Explain to me how that works, sir.’

‘Praise the lord. She understood that I am a Man of God with a weakness. I understood that she was a believer with an equal weakness. She understood that I was a married man; I understood that she was a willing woman. She understood that I could make her no promises of forevermore; I understood that she understood that by associating with me I would introduce her to a level of grace she was previously unaware of.'
‘Is this also the kind of understanding you had with others that led to your suspension in Ilorin and the 130 women you have slept with?’

‘Lie! Big lie! One hundred and thirty?!!! Haba, how could one man have done that, even with a never seen before level of grace? They just want to give my dog a bad name just to hang it. 120, I may accept, but 130? Never. When it is not as if I have a spare mobile penis that I charge with car charger. ‘Let’s return to her story. So, what were your intentions when you invited her to your hotel suite?’

Praise the lord. Even when I asked her to come to the terrace it was so we could get cool breeze during the deliverance. All was well until she sat on my laps.’

‘What happened when she sat on your laps after you invited her to do so?’

‘My weakness arose.  And when we kissed…my brother, do you eat seedless grapes? That’s what her tongue tasted like, soft and succulent. What was I to do? You people don’t know how hard it is to pastor a Pentecostal church in Nigeria, especially in this Abuja! You are there teaching the word of God and what do you have before you? Gorgeous women with sly smiles; with breasts, big and small, chiseled upon their chests like those old wood carvings; lips like cherries; eyes speaking to your soul, telling you their desires. ‘ So I’m free to assume missionary wasn’t top of the list?’

‘God forbid. Praise the lord. In fact, it was because of experimentation that we had our first quarrel.’
‘Really? What happened?’

‘She wanted me to use my silk ties to tie one of her legs to the door knob and the other to the window…I thought that was too much of a spread so I declined and she took offence. It was during round 4 on Day 7. Praise the lord.’

‘You know sir, each time you say ‘Praise the lord’, what I hear is Praise the Rod. It seems to me that you spend more time doing the rod’s work than you do doing the lord’s work.’

‘Who died and made you judge? Don’t make proclamation about me if you don’t want the wrath of God. I’m a man of God, remember? Praise the lord.’
‘Is this also why you’ve refused to explain yourself to your congregation?’
‘They don’t need any explanation. They know me.‘We would have to end this interview on this note sir. Thanks again for your time.

On Monday, 12th of August 2013, the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi awarded pop artiste, Tillaman the ambassadorial title, Oyo State Youth Musical Ambassador, at the International Youth Day celebration organized by the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development.
The event which took place at the Cultural Centre in Ibadan and was attended in great numbers by the youth in the state, saw musical performances from artistes like Chuddy K and Konga who came to support Tillaman. Fuji artiste Obesere also got an award from the Oyo state government as well.

The Lagos Premiere of Yvonne Nelson produced movie House of Gold went down Friday Night at the Silverbird Galleria, and one of those in attendance was actress Rukky Sanda, who brought her girls (her boobies) out to play in a very revealing low neckline sequin gown.She teamed the dress with a nude spiked clutch and strappy sandals. Topped off with very big hair.
Let me digress for a bit, why is Rukky’s face one colour & her feet another colour? Looks like she has the dreaded fanta face, coke body!
