I wish i know your home address so that i can arrest and prosecute you for child trafficking and violation of the young innocent girl's right. I've done it before and i'll like to make you anther scape goat. |
I will call a national constitutional govt which members would be drawn from common country men. Their assignment would be to decide if the country should continue or break up. If the outcome is the former, they wil come up wit peoples' constitution of nigeria to replace the militarized 1999 constitution. |
It's like the devil's mess don pollute our fresh air. |
With all index pointing to negative, the president and his economic team keep boasting on 7 point something percent growth in our economy, reduction in inflation rate, etc. Are they deceiving us or they are not been fed with the right figures? God help Nigeria. |
I'm sure his boko haram brothers will be waiting for him at home to give him 20 strokes of blala for openly disgracing islam. |
I wonder why some Nairalander expose their ignorance of operations judicial system and criminal justice in Nigeria. Each time any anti corruption agency arrests anyone for interogation we often presume they are guilty already and should be bundles to jail by EFCC without trial before a court. Instead of blaming our anti-corruption agencies, we should ask the judiciary what happened to all the high profile cases. We should also not forget that lack of political good will of the executive on anti corruption crusade is another thing we should cry out against. |
I'd rather help a need brother and helpless kids rathan give my money to hopeless thieves behind the altar. |
I'm disappointed with the decision of Govt. to repatrate any criminal whose activity threatings our peaceful existence. If any of those bloody almajeris is found guilty, they should be dealt with according to our laws. Libyans are killing our brothers everyday on mere allegations of working as Gadafi's macenery. Mutalab was not sent to Nigeria for trial. Why is our oun decision always different? |
I live in UST area in port harcourt, it has been total black out for more than a week now. I've not seen any reasonable improvement in power supply. |
Some of us are just so st9u!d that we believe anything in the dailies. Is it not the same Bankole who they said was broke to the point of taking a loan from bank for his re-election. I beg make them stop these nonsence jare! |
Quote Absolutely a very wrong move by OBJ. You must not negotiate with a terrorist group under all circumstances In general, leaders are confronted with challenges and opportunities that are extremely dynamic and complex, the tough part of it all is making critical decisions with absolutely incomplete information. This is why they are called leaders, why we all look up to them, why they are elected to their various important positions and why they should be leaders. But in my country, things are seen and done differently; and this is why we call our leaders looters. Obasanjo again has made a despicable move that will only add to the mess already on ground. This type of move will send a wrong message not only to Boko Haram group but also to other vicious groups (copycats) out there. Negotiation is a clear indication of weakness; you just don't do it, at least not this way. OBJ should have realized that negotiation with this type of terrorist entails real costs we cannot afford. OBJ has simply sold the country to the Boko Haram at a very cheap price. Mark it down, this group is gaining confidence by OBJ's visit, they feel that their actions have been been justified. They will strike again. You do not negotiate with terrorist You do not give them any positive attention You do not embrace any of their premises You do not sit with them. You do not let them notice your weakness. United stated leaders didn't just put these rules together, they've don't their home work extensively. If you don't go by these rules you will pay. Mark it down, OBJ's move will not solve anything, but only encourage this group to go crazy whenever they feel like it, and keep in mind that the Delta connection (militants) is also watching. What Nigerian government should have done: They should have secretly invited the current leader of this terrorist group and strike a closed door deal with him. (OR) they should have sent a neutral representative to discover the best way to settle the matter with the current leader of this group. But as a former president or a current president, you absolutely do not meet with any kind of terrorist group, (especially with a terrorist group who has killed close to 1000 innocent citizens) Jonathan has no brain and OBJ's brain is also still missing. IBB will never have made such a fo0lish and selfish move. I called it selfish move because OBJ has only made this move simply to become relevant once again. There is nothing better for any nation than to have a president that has common sense and can think effectively on his own. Sorry, I totally disagree with the move. --------------------------------------------------- You sound confused. there is no diferrence between your suggestion and negotiation. You are just criticising people with good intention. what step has the northern leaders take to bring the situation under control. Their inaction is an indication that they are solidly behind what Boko Haram is doing. |
The big thievs will prefered to be tried by EFCC where they can manipulate their ways out with all sort of legal nonsense. God wil surely pay them back on judgement day. Meanwhile it's time for civil society to come to the aid of oppressed poor people in d region. |
