Your total years of work experience is more than 3years. Having 1 year gap in between is a different matter.

Do you know how many people have not entered the pool because they are waiting to hit that 3 yr mark? Some people have 2 years 11months and 15 days work experience and they still haven't joined the pool because they realize that Canada does not approximate to the nearest whole figure.

My case @ the bold...chilling... like 5 months to go!!! I don't have strength to shout if anything should go wrong (God forbid!)

Whilst creating my profile, I simply chose Masters degree qualification (which is the M.Sc) from the drop-down although, I WES-evaluated my B.Sc and M.Sc which came back with an overall Canadian equivalency of a Masters Degree.

Do you sense any lack of simplicity in the above scenario? (as I love simplicity too and I can't wait to use your model to submit my application post-ITA )

I intend to submit that WES report as it is for the Masters degree points and also submit my B.Sc and ICAN certs as add-ons?

I was told it will take 10-12 weeks when i requested. So let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
Hopefully you should get yours within the next 2 weeks at the most.

Over-staying your visit visa in the US when it's obvious you can satisfy the conditions for a skilled worker migration to Canada..which is just an hour drive from the nearest US town?

You will go to US tire from Canada...you can even get jobs in the US as a Canadian PR/Citizen...your Canadian office may even be sending you on several work trips to the US (paid for) so much that you go tire to dey go US!!!

Bro, do the needful, retrace steps...on the long run, it doesn't worth it...because this is a recipe to be bitter in the future and hitting twitter and start saying Nigerians do menial jobs abroad and most can't make ends meet...how will they, if they didn't enter the right way?

I know my sermon will not be palatable to the majority of Nigerians who are looking for all means to jaaa...but if someone has everything it takes get ITA to a Canadian immigration system, why will such a person go to US to overstay a visit visa? Meanwhile in other news. I got the golden mail on the 2nd of May!
So freaking happy cos it's a double celeb for me. Didn't have time to get down to my announcement. So here it is.

CRS: 449
ITA: Jan 24th
AOR: Jan 30th
MEP: Feb 14th (or thereabouts)
IP1: Feb 15th (when I noticed sha)
IP2: Feb 27 (The almighty upgrade)
ADR: April 12th. To submit hubby's work experience reference letter. That was a helluva problem cos DH was outta the country on a 3-week training so I had to do the running around for that one. Finally got it in about 6 days and rushed to submit.
Ghost update: April 27th. Twas DH that noticed it. Had my hands full.
PPR: May 2nd.

In another news. My twin babies decided to make a grand entrance on the 2nd of May also. It's only by God's grace. Hubby was the one that noticed the PPR mail sef. The mail had been in my mailbox all day. He didn't notice till the 3rd of May. Who get time to dey check mail when there is major business to attend to?

Been resting and resting some more. We have already sent a CSE to inform CIC about the new addition and they have responded.
Working on getting passports for my angels.
