I would advice you use Iqas, no rush in life. You could also use the waiting time to do ur ielts and max it and also gather your POF. I used Iqas the max wait period is 6months and I came up with a master equivalent.

Hello guys, I have checked the search bar and couldn’t find a straight forward answer to my question.

When evaluating a law-degree with WES, what certificates should be sent in other to get “two or more” degree equivalence . I know IQAS gives a masters degree equivalence but from my findings, their processing timeline is too long and it’s just too much wahala to pay.
So I don’t mind using WES.

Your previous work experience in my opinion. Your current job isn’t up to 3 years. To get maximum point for work experience?

Also i ve registered for IELTS exam and also paid for IQAS .
1)I'm Married but my husband deserted my 2 kids and i since 2015. i just initiated a divorce proceeding on the 7th of this month simple because of the EE process so as not to involve him for any medical etc. With the way Nigerian litigation process is, do i enter the pool a married or divorced?

2)If divorced, do i have to do a new passport have my maiden name or i can continue with present passport having my marital name.

3)Do i just get a separation agreement and apply to a family court for custody of my Kids. Since i know the Divorce process will take forever in Nigeria

There is no rule that requires you to change your name after a divorce. Some people continue with their new (married) names after divorce. It’s your name now as long as you legitimately changed it, not just your marriage name or husbands name.

Thank a lot for your contribution,but can i not just continue with the passport even with the divorce,because the passport is still very recent changing it would be like waste of funds.i can change the name on the passport after its expiration or is there any rule stating that i must change my name on my passport after the divorce,for the EE aplication? i'm just asking for more clarification. i

I’d advice you go for option 3, when you have successfully done that. You can use that document to proceed with your passport process because they will ask for divorce documents or the option 3 you stated below.

For your question 1: get option 3 done and enter the pool as separated.

To all the good people of Nairaland Canadian citizens, you have all done well. I remember reading through the pages in part 6 and 7 and then joined the trend in part 8. With all the info here I wrote IELTS once and aced it. Within 3 months got my ECA sorted out (even though it’s from one of the university wey no dey gree sought WES things quickly) and within 1 week of ITA, I got AOR and medicals sorted out. All the information needed was obtained here and they remain priceless.
To all those that will come in this trend to seek answers or clarification, I implore you, please read, read and read. All the answers to any question you want to ask is in part 1 to 8. And after reading, if you are still not clear, then ask your questions.
Bros and sis, abeg, we use God beg you, if more than 3 person correct you, no argue blindly, just respect yourself, do your research then come back with the right answer with courtesy. No body go win trophy if Na you argue pass abeg. No need to show yaself here.
