The doctor made an appointment, but it was difficult to get a vehicle because I was overweight, so I haven't seen him. Her father confirmed that she had been overweight since childhood and that her weight gradually increased to 270kg last year, leaving her bedridden. Eventually, she reached 300kg.

“Nobody has been able to help my daughter, so she remained in bed constantly, which has led to bedsores,” he said. “I was worried when she had breathing problems.”

A local rescue volunteer group attempted to arrange an ambulance for Chatwisa but was unable to remove her from the house. They provided first aid and inserted a tracheal tube to help her breathe more easily.

A statement from Pretoria came after Trump, on Sunday, threatened to cut future funding to South Africa over alleged land confiscation and the mistreatment of "certain classes of people."

"South Africa is confiscating land and treating certain classes of people VERY BADLY. It is a bad situation that the Radical Left Media doesn’t even want to mention. A massive Human Rights VIOLATION, at a minimum, is happening for all to see," he said on his Truth Social platform.

Trump’s outburst came after South African President Cyril Ramaphosa signed the Expropriation Bill into law last month, replacing the pre-democratic Expropriation Act of 1975. The new legislation outlines the process by which state entities can expropriate land in the public interest for various purposes.

Trump stated that the U.S. would halt all funding to the country until a thorough investigation into the matter was completed.

However, Ramaphosa emphasized that South Africa is a "constitutional democracy deeply rooted in the rule of law, justice, and equality."

He clarified that the only funding South Africa receives from the U.S. is for HIV/AIDS prevention.
“There is no other funding that South Africa receives from the United States.”

On Monday, while speaking, the South African president said:

"This issue that Trump fears so much—we offered this portion of the land. I don't know what Donald Trump wants to do with South African land because he has never been here. He should keep his America, and we will keep our South Africa. South Africa is our land; it belongs to all the people who live here, not to Donald Trump. He can keep his America.

He is even worse. When I meet him, I will tell him: Donald Trump, you are even worse because your forefathers came to America, found the indigenous Americans, wiped them out, and killed nearly all of them. Now, as black and white South Africans, we are going to find solutions to our land issues. Donald Trump must leave us alone. He must stay out of our affairs because when we were facing apartheid and oppression, he was not here. He didn't fight side by side with us. Yet, on our own—yes, with the support of progressive forces around the world—we were able to resolve all apartheid-related issues.

Donald Trump was nowhere near the negotiating table, so he should sit in his White House while we mind our business here.

We will find solutions to our problems, so stay out of our issues. We will not interfere in America’s problems, so leave us alone!"
