So just because the men here joke about mentoring - I love beautiful women too - means they go about harrassing women? So being a polygynist automatically makes you a sexual harasser of women?

Ned Nwoko is an unabashed polygamist and TuBaba has a song where his opening line is about being straightforward about loving and wanting women. Does it make both of them sexual harassers by default? Should we believe any woman who accuses Tu Baba and Ned Nwoko of sexual harassment WITHOUT evidence because they are supposedly womanizers?

Shed off your sentimentality. And I don't like the difficult position of defending Akpabio. I like to accuse him every other day.

The previous case was more than merely joking with foul words.
This is someone that was known as using force, power and position to intimidate, harassing young ladies.


When you are known as a chronicle liar, womanizer, that goes about harassing ladies every eke market, such seat, as senate president , is above your morality.

To even think the man was a judge on his own case, refused to temporarily step down and launch an investigation over the accusations is, itself, a gross violation of standard protocol.

I don't really like Akpabio but he's right this time. Your Senator has a history of weaponising false sexual harassment accusation. For far too long, women have destroyed men with false accusations.

In 2019, Actress Dorcas Fapson falsely accused a Taxify driver of rape. He lost his job and was arrested. His saving grace was his dash cam which showed she was the one making moves on him but he rebuffed. Nothing happened to her.

In 2018. a girl accused a popular Twitter influencer UcheDandyMUFC of rape. His saving grace was his Twitter and WhatsApp chats from 2016, which showed she was a corp member who wooed him, visited him, cajoled him to have sex. Still, the guy wasn't interested in taking it further because she was a catfish who didn't look one-fifteenth as the edited pictures she had on Twitter. It went viral as "Lekki to Ajah" on Twitter that year.

I've stated over the years on this platform, I still have WhatsApp chats from 2013 and follow up on every call a lady makes wanting to spend time with me, with a WhatsApp chat or recorded call to protect myself from false accusations.

Amber Heard ruined Johnny Depp's life with false rape accusation but no prison time for her. Jay Z is battling for his life due to false rape accusations.

If you can build a solid case of misappropriation of public funds as Akwa Ibom Governor against Akpabio, I'd support you and even provide evidence to strengthen your case. But on this Natasha issue, Akpabio is right. FALSE RAPE ACCUSATIONS SHOULD CARRY THE SAME PENALTY AS RAPE. Too many men have been destroyed.

That she might have accused someone wrongly in the past is not enough reason to term her accusations "wrong" this time around.

This is not the first time akpabio was being accused of sexual harassment either. What reasonable senate should have done is to give a fair hearing to both sides and not this shenanigans that they displayed the other time. We all know every senator there has been cajoled by goons above.

I'm not much concern because she has the court to determine the legality or otherwise of her suspension. We have seen this before, definitely, this will not be last.

The sexual harassment situation was essentially an issue between two persons, and basically one persons word against the other...if they were to adjudicate on that, the fair thing to do would have been to suspend both parties until they had sorted their issues, or recommend resolution outside of the senate.

They chose not to investigate the issue, and struck it out on technicalities, yet went ahead to punish one party, and it's clear that her "crime" of disrupting senate preceding's doesn't match the 6 month suspension so while they didn't attend to her petition, it didn't stop them from punishing her for daring to file it .

It's speaks to the state of things that our political office holders are moving like this.
