And the futuristic benefits therein...... As development screw up the political atmosphere of Kogi State courtesy of the tribunal verdict, it becomes imperative to call for collaboration with the parties involved to navigate the state and set it on a map of prosperity. Hitherto to the the gubernatorial election, it becomes evident from party manifestos and campaigns that the progress and development of the state is what drives the passion and zeal of the candidates to govern. that is, there is a shared goals and objectives; and it remain supreme. Going to seek redress for perceived electoral fraud stimulates and strengthen democratic principles and values, and it remains a hallmark in every settings alike across the globe. kudos to Muritala Yakubu Ajaka for heeding to the norms! Be that as it may, as a concern citizen of Kogi State who has untainted vigor to see my state soaring higher in all spheres of economic and social development, I think calling for sheath of sword, and establishing a robust partnership at this crucial time becomes necessary. Taking a niche from the verdict of the tribunal court, I think the learned justices had really posited in clear terms the judicial analysis of the case being filed and the insufficiency of the evidences presented to convince the honourable court of fraudulent claims. Hence, the reason the court struck the case out for lacking in merit, and it was justly and fairly done. At this point, dissipating more energy to advance the case to a higher court after this faultless judgment will add no value, rather, it will instill a believe in us of your high level desperation to power. This will go deep in our heart, and also viable of shaping our decisions in future encounter. I implore you to imbibe absolute level of sportsmanship, Embrace peace with the current administration, synergize collaborative effort with him, and bringing your experience to the table to catapult the state on a pedestal of greatness. Indeed, it is a collective dream to see the confluence state growing regardless of who is leading the course. You've fought a good fight. You've registered your name in the political landscape of Nigeria, and I believe there are clearer opportunities ahead for you in the future to explore. Your political trajectory has just began; play the game well and stand a chance tomorrow! His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is on the top of governance with a convincing result already. Joining efforts with him will propel the state for more enviable height. It is high time we right the wrongs and resuscitate the hope of kogites. Let's stands out to in our various ways to help the government of Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo to succeed. He displayed responsiveness, and it will only be fair enough if he's motivated or constructively criticized rather than been dragged. I'm watching with keen interest as you take the next decision with the hope of eschewing frivolous attempt by mischief makers to keep luring you to move on because of what they stand to gain from your deep pocket. Congratulations Our Dear Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo. It is with great joy in my heart that I congratulate you once again our dear leader on your affirmation by the tribunal Court as the duly elected Governor of our dear state, Kogi. Indeed, with this tribunal victory, it is now clear to all and sundry that you were nominated by God to serve our people, elected by the masses of Kogi and now affirmed by the tribunal court. I'm particularly glad by this your victory as we both share a deep sense of commitment and duty to salvage our state and making it viable for economic prosperity. Special thanks go to the learned Justices of the Tribunal Court for maintaining the sanctity of our constitution and upholding the general wish of Kogites which they expressed during the gubernatorial election. I also appreciate in no small measure, the great and indefatigable people of Kog State who displayed their doggedness and utter resoluteness during the election and have kept faith with your administration, their will and choice at the poll remain supreme. Again, my constant prayer to God for you, our dear Governor is for sustained clarity of purpose, vision and unassailable will in the discharge of the onerous demands of your office as the Executive Governor of Kogi State, especially as you continue to consolidate on the clamour for changing the trajectory of bad governance in Kogi State. I personally get more disturbed when I fathom out the incredible input of Ododo Ebigo connect family and the rewarding formula that eschew her leadership. Prior to the election, this organization had been at the front burner, running independent campaigns, touring the nooks and crannies of the state, and selling the gospel of his Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo with their resources, energy and time. This organization also played most important role during the elections and aftermath. Ododo Ebigo Connect is the only political organization whose campaign office remain in use till today— No any other organization's offices remain active. Up till now, people troops in to the office to find succour, and also engaging in discussions that will strengthen the prosperity of the party. This Organization has showed unflinching commitment, show of readiness and displayed unalloyed loyalty to the party and to His Excellency, and I believe the rewarding formula should have captured their efforts even before now. It is high time we wake up to reality and draw the attention of His Excellency to this group. They've done more than enough to be compensated with even sensitive positions. The button line is that let their efforts be rewarded! It is shocking and appalling seeing people with minute inputs been considered for appointments, leaving those who had put their life, resources and time on the line to widening up the electoral fortune of the party to be at the receiving end. I call on His Excellency and every other persons whose inputs are essential to consider the tireless and selfless efforts of Ododo Ebigo Connect family. They need to be part of the leadership sharing formula. This organization has expertises with undeniable records of excellence that could be considered for most significant responsibility of government, and I have no doubt they will deliver awesomely. The most appropriate questions are: what do we call merit? How do view commitment? what did the party hierarchy set aside to compensate ardent supporters? Is the Ododo Ebigo Connect's efforts in futility? or is it not good enough?. These are pertinent questions that deserves the response of the party leadership. Let's call a spade a spade. Ododo Ebigo Connect deserves preferential treatment. We are APC members, and we will continue to be. Our loyalty to the party remains unabated and we reiterate our commitment to endure being loyal regardless. But let the right thing be done. Don't make the Ebigo family feel neglected. I implore the entire family to remain committed to the course as we anticipate a swift response from the party leadership to this public outcry. God bless Ododo Ebigo Connect! God bless APC! Indeed, campaign rallies are feisty, boisterous and carnival-like affairs, where sound bites and promises rouse the crowd, amidst praises and fanfare. Politicians, in those moments, promise heaven on earth, pledge a land of milk and honey, using saccharine-coated language. However, on assuming office, reality usually sets in as they stare at balance sheets, defaced with red ink, suggesting near empty treasuries. Thereafter, the scales fall from their eyes and some walk back their promises, while others impose some contexts. Sadly, many politicians have eaten their word after victory but luckily, Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Kogi State governor, has so far kept his own. Indeed, for Governor Usman Ododo, keeping promises is not a mere flash in the pan as he marked the first 100 days in office. Undeniably, He is working in a frenetic pace to translate all his promises to fruition. And I'm readily on feet as an ardent supporter but with a score jotter of positive criticism. Ideally, 100 days in office is a yardstick for measuring performance; it's a barometer of sort for determining the direction to which a new government is power headed. The event should further serve as prism through which the citizens see and judge the motive and motion of their new set of leaders. Commendation goes to the Governor His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. what it takes more than 100 days in office to put in place, I mean his immediate kitchen cabinets, was done within 182 minutes as governor. This alone played the most focal role in the achievements already recorded. His Excellency, to remind you that we are APC and we've done what we suppose to do as a loyal party members. Going forward, expect us anytime for positive criticism of policies and programs that are not masses-oriented. Once again, I want to congratulate you for the prompt payment of salaries to both states and local government workers. It's a nice feat that set mindsets blowing in appreciation. His Excellency sir, i urge you to take Agricultural revolution as one among your cardinal areas of concentration. It drives the economy and making it viable to meet the current reality. You started good. Closing the gaps, filling the loopholes and redeeming our faith to governance. Keep it burning, average kogites are pleased with you. By Jegede Onotu AbdulAzeez

............... PLEDGES CONTINUING SUPPORT TO THEIR ACADEMIC JOURNEY. The Nigeria Elite-Youth Forum hosted two of her annual free jamb tutorial beneficiaries that scored 314 and 302 respectively in their UTME. The mini program which took place yesterday, 1st May, 2024 witnessed the presence of NIEF caretaker committee chairman, Comr. Hassan Ohikere and some other members. They individually took their time to appreciate and extol the duo for the brilliant results. They implore them to keep the energy going as we hope to see them making waves in their respective institutions in the coming years. The founder of the NGO, Ohiani Hamzat Omeiza also took his time to appreciate their dedication and hard work which culminated to this awesome outcome. He promised the students that the NGO will as well facilitate their admission process as that had been the norms of the organization. He exercised displeasure over the current financial state of the members; saying, it won't have caused anything to give scholarship to these students to aide thier academic journey. Be that as it may, he called on well-meaning Ebiras to help these promising children in their quest for academic excellent. The beneficiaries appreciated the selfless effort of the group, praying for the prosperity of the organization. They promised to be a good ambassador of the organization, and pledges to replicate same gesture to the outside world. Singed: MUHAMMAD ASHRAF Caretaker Secretary NIEF |
