As the Governor assures APC member equal participation, representation....... The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Yahaya Bello, CON, has reaffirmed the fundamental principle of equal rights to participation and representation for all party members in Kogi State. This commitment was highlighted during his reception of Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the former deputy governorship candidate of the APC in the 2015 election and the current Chairman of the House Committee on Finance. Governor Bello emphasized that within the APC, there exists a level playing field where every member has equal access to the numerous opportunities offered by the party. He underscored the absence of hierarchy or privilege when it comes to participation within the party. Hon. Faleke arrived with a contingent of party members representing all three senatorial districts. This distinguished group included Prof Stephen Ocheni, former Minister of Labour and Productivity; Barrister Dangana Ocheja, the former senator representing Kogi East; Barrister Eke Maimuna Audu, daughter of the former governor of the state; and Hon Duro Meseko, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC. Their visit was a clear demonstration of their readiness to actively engage in working and campaigning for the success of the party's candidate, Ododo Ahmed Usman, in the November 11 governorship election. Hon. Faleke explained that their decision to wholeheartedly support Ododo Ahmed Usman's candidacy was reached following a meeting with other party members in Abuja. This meeting was in preparation for the official flag-off campaign ceremony of the APC in Kogi State. He emphasized that their dedication to working for the ruling APC is motivated by the broader interests of both the state and the nation. Hon. Faleke assured that the All Progressives Congress is united and stronger than ever before. This development reflects the APC members' unwavering commitment to unity and their collective aspiration for victory in the forthcoming November 11 governorship election in Kogi State. Nigeria as a country celebrates the 63years of her existence as sovereign nation. while we dwell on the part of uninterrupted democracy and applaud the resilience of our people for entrenching peace and unity on the sand of diverse ethno-tribal and religious resentment, We must as a matter of fact leverage on this opportunity to further speak on the level of maladministration and the monumental and continuing effect it has on the prosperity of our beloved nation. It has become significant for us to know where we was then, where we are today, and where we envisioned to be going forward. Indepth analysis and genuine deliberation will surely give a destination to our thoughts and assertions. Every Nigerians are expectant at this contemporary time of Nigeria history courtesy of what we presumed to be the leadership dexterity of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Hence, He must not fail us! My philosophy doesn't sway thought in making emphasis to the mistakes of the past. Though, it is evident the previous administration didn't laid a precedence that will set pace for prosperity and stability of the country. Be that as it may, we bestowed our trust and envisage a turnaround under the tutelage of the current administration, and we don't expect anything different. The state governors are playing the most pivotal role of nailing this country. their performances are nosedive, and they do not in anyway prioritize the interest of the masses. Their periodic selfish agenda is of no mate, hence, they have zero compliment to the efforts of the federal government. The palliative measurements taken by the federal government to mollify the effect of subsidy removal doesn't meet the need of 0.9% Nigerians, and the modus operandi used in reaching out to the people is of low standard. It was politically inclined, and the end result was abysmal. Every measures set aside that won't go directly to the individuals should be eschewed. It won't have an effect because of the primordial nature of our political system. The time is of essence. The problem is known, and it must be tackle on time will untainted political will. The destitute most be allowed to breath! This government as part of their campaign promises, must meet the yearnings of our people. They must catapult this nation on a path of distinction. "Asiwaju", You must further prove to us of the leader you are. Rejuvenate our hope and redirect the will to answer our plight. Nigerians are keenly watching. As we celebrate this milestone today with retrogression and failures, it is my believe and every other progressive Nigerians that this nation will triumph over her difficulties, and we will celebrate greatness.
