hi,i think your problem is a little different from my own,since you can access youtube,all you need to do is to check your google acct and see if you are duly registered,make sure you ve a g-mail acct.while in the playstore move to the free applications and try downloading!as for the movies that has refused to play,i guess you need to download MXplayer from '9apps', 9apps had a lot of free android applications.Mxplayer plays almost every video format...as for downloading from youtube,you need an application know as 'youtube downloader', or 'TubeMate' etc with this you can successfully and easily download videos of your choice from youtube.Wish you the best.

Thank you Mr op for this thread. Same problem here. The play store takes like forever to open. I haven't downloaded anything from there (just taking apps from other phones via file share or whatever it's called). As for youtube, I don't still know how I can download from there, all I do is stream. I've download 3 music videos from waptrick.com but they've all refused to play. All I get is "cannot play this video". Pls what good website can I download good videos that can play on my phone? I'm using Samsung Galaxy Core. Thank you.

Chikebrain1: It doesnt require APN settings. To know if your sim is eligible for the 4GB please dial the code *440*161# without airtime in the sim and youll be told if you are eligible or not.

I also advise that you subscribe to a 10MB Bis Plan (“BCD” to short code 440) and then dial *123*123# to know the account it entered.
If It entered A10 then you can browse but if its is A9 then you cant browse with.

6.0 inches is way too big for me. I don't have the strength to carry that long purse around. 5.0 would have been ok but I love 4.7 to 4.8. The screen resolution of this phone will be so poor. I wonder how a 13mp camera of that price would be too. Fingers crossed.....they might suprise me. Still, the screen size is a turn off for me.

I'm gettin an Airtel Sim tomorrow. If I dial the 4GB code, will I get 4GB or 2GB? How do I know the one that can match my sim? I hope it doesn't require APN/VPN settings too o cos I hate that. Dear nairalanders I say happy new year to you all. I hope you had great new year celebrations. Well, lets discuss this issue here. Recharge cards prices are high now and I'm not finding it funny. I base in PH and before I travelled to my village on december 29, 10-20naira was added to the actual prices of recharge cards. Infact, I bought MTN #750 recharge card @#800 for my elder sister. I use Etisalat and their #200 cost #210 and #220 depending on the store. I travelled to my village and it was the same. I didn't recharge my phone on january 2nd because I didn't have #20 to add to the #200 I had with me. Ok, I still managed to bear it hoping it would go back to the normal prices after xmas and new year celebrations are over. I came back to PH on monday and it has remained the same up till this moment. It has even gotten worse. I bought Etisalat #500 for #550 yesterday. Seriously, I don't like it @all. #20 is not a big money but it's not everyone that has change all the time. I can't spend 1k for #20. Please how do you guys see the increament in recharge cards prices? What's the cause?

abeg I'm talking about Samsung Galaxy Core. Thats the phone I am using. It's not compatible with HD games. I just broke the screen of mine and wondering how much the replacement would cost.

How do I know if the LCD is broken? The screen display looks as great as ever. I'm recieving all the calls and messages. Just the touch that isn't responding. Will the repair cost more than 5k?
