It happened at Forte Oil fillion station along Ikwerre road in Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt over a week ago. People fetched as manly litres of fuel as they wanted. Lucky them, it was not a sunny day, vehicles were stopped, the place didn't even catch fire after an Hausa man went their with metal cup which he scrubbed on the ground. |

Phones › Re: Top 5 Problems Of The Infinix Hot 2 And Their Solutions by RedCard1(m): 10:22am On Oct 27, 2015 |
@OP you forgot the worst problem of them all, THE CAMERA. I don't think it's 8mp like we were told and made to believe. The so called 8mp camera is rubbish compared to the 5mp camera on Samsung Galaxy J1. Even the 5mp camera of Lumia 520 that has no LED flash beats the 8mp of Infinix Hot2. When I heard about the release of this Infinix Hot2, I fell in love with it that I even wanted to buy it. But after handling my neighbour's Hot2, I have decided not to spend my money on that thing. Bad camera, poor screen, poor battery, the design isn't even attractive.
I'm not saying that people should not buy it oh. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: My Experience Today As An Applicant. by RedCard1(m): 4:28pm On Oct 26, 2015 |
Sashafm: Being recently churned out by NYSC, on October 15th of this month. I have always heard about how precarious it was to get a job in this country without connections, but I did not actually know the gravity of it until now. Armed with my 2.1 certificate from OAU (The best University ) and my NYSC discharged certificate I thought now I have arrived to become gainfully employed.
I left Lagos for Abuja just 2 days after my POP, alas, after sending out countless applications and applying for any job that fits my criteria, I have not even been called for a single interview!!!.
I was swayed after a week and thought to myself, if I wouldn't be called for interviews I would go in search of the companies my self and make an appearance. I was Wrong . I am not really conversant with Abuja very well, but i was determined to go in search of a job physically instead of gazing at my laptop all day long. I dressed in my best, looked very corporate even wore my corporate court shoes that i painfully bought from my alawee in the hope that when I get called for interview by Standard chartered bank or PWC , I would launch it. Anybody that met me on the way would think I am a business executive,on my way to seal a contract deal.
Started the long journey to town as I stay close to the airport. on getting there I started from Wuse zone 3, as I had earlier sourced from the internet the addresses of companies that had posted vacancies in Abuja. My plan was to go and submit my CV in person .Unfortunately for me I was even unable to locate the offices as, the Address given on the internet did not even correspond. mogbe moment was activated as I was lost, broke and on heels with no direction. I was being turned back at most of the offices, that was when I realized the gravity of being an unemployed person. At a point removed my shoes and changed to my sanders as i had packed them in my bag. Dejected and sad, I turned back home. And here I am at home again. Glued to my laptop and scanning for job again. It is indeed pathetic. it's sandals not sanders. Well, getting a job in this zoo of a country without connections is a very tough task. Anyway, you're still fresh. You will surely get something |

This is Abuja connection in action. I'm a supporter of Dakuku Adol Peterside but in all honesty, I think Wike will defeat him in a free and fair election but there's no need to rig. The elections was highly rigged. Although elections were not held in some parts of the state. My village, Ndele did not see a ballot box, same with Rumuji, Rumekpe, etc. All in all, Wike deserves to go. APC members were not allowed to vote at most voting centres in Diobu, Abuloma, Omoku, etc. |

Politics › Re: Amaechi Has No Business Being A Minister!!! by RedCard1(m): 4:58pm On Oct 22, 2015 |
perculiarperson: From the look of things and his response to prompting questions asked, and in comparison to the grilling questions given to Fashola, Ibe Kachikwu and Kemi Adeosun and their educative and informative answers, Amaechi has no business being on that list.
This was a great opportunity for Amaechi to sell himself by showing his intellectual prowess, strong capabilities and reasons to be confirmed. Instead he went there to sell radicalism, multiple personality and mental imbalance on views and perspectives, double-mindedness and eye service. From his overall wealth of experience (former SA, PA, State Speaker, Governor etc.) he could not articulate a couple of words as advice to younger generation of politicians or political class.
His desperation is so glaring and obvious as he spoke with two sides of his mouth today. The same issue (resource control) he fought the past government for is what he has embraced fully in this new administration all because of his GREED and selfish interest!!!
He has even given a pointer with regards to his final political destination and where he would love to retire which is as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!! This is sooooooo pathetic and heart wrenching.
If we appoint these sorts as ministers, what hope do we have of any transformation in Nigeria? Nigerians who voted this administration into power have indeed entered ONE CHANCE!!! your end will not be nice |
