So the weekend was super busy for me. But i was not working on this project. Today i am less busy and i decided to put in a few on this love of mine. I was able to take out the old saddle stand and replace it with the new chair. But first i had to wash it off as it was dirty and with a few rust here and there. I used a product meant for kitchen sinks to wash the iron. I would list the procedures i went through to get this done and the pictures would follow in that order
1. I took out the old metal holding the old saddle.
2. new saddle waiting to be used.
3. components holding the old saddle.
4. The chemical i would be using to do the washing. Its very good for metal.
5. Chemical applied to the metal components. (I left this to stay for 5 minutes or less)
6. Washed metal components looking fresh.
7. I have been looking for something to grease bolts so that next time i want to unscrew it doesnt give problems. I did not see any grease and i dont want to buy one. I decided to use hair cream. I guess it should work also. Although its not coventional but its better than nothing.

Atmmachine: I support his deportation. He's reaping the fruit of his foolishness. I hate these people called Agents and also the people who use them, only foolish people uses Agents, That thing wey the agent go do, you can do it by yourself.
Why would i pay 500k for Dubai visa ?? I can't give someone 5k for shitty Dubai visa.
Let this be a lesson to you, next time read, read again, re-read again, because the terms and condition and the duration of the job was written on the papers.
My guy gave an agent 500 thousand naira for ordinary Dubai visa, how much did it cost me to get an American visa ?? Just 160k, The guy foolishly went to Dubai with a one month visa, he's now in Lagos begging for money I wont even go to Dubai even if it was expense paid.. Lmao!!! |

S9mehow im just super tempted not to continue taking pictures for my project because right now im dealing with grease and stuff and its getting messy. I dont want my phone to be part of that. I was able to fix the fork on the frame and connect the handlebar to to the fork. They both work hand in hand.(fork and handlebar). I guess its looking good now. I made a terrible mistake on the top part of the frame and it was that i re sprayed too much of the clear coat to protect the paint and this time i brought it really close and it formed some bubbles on the frame and dried. I thought it would smoothen out but it did not!
I had to scratch that part out and it took of the paint there and i had to respray but it wasnt looking as smooth as the other parts. Although i should have sandpapered it but i did not. Its not that bad though but i wish it was better. I may do something about it if i think it doesnt look good enough later on. But i think its fine. Im just too detailed so these things get to me. This is how tye bike looks now. I had to go out so i left it this way..

Hope your project finishes before the snow shows up... or we'll have to wait until next summer! I would finish pretty soon! |

staaari: @redcliff,
If one of his parents was swiss at time of his birth, he would have add Swiss Pali. You dont need to wait till 15.
As it is now, he is a criminal foreigner in Switzerland.Tough but wish him well. So that means you are saying non of this parents were swiss. If so be the case then understood. But if one of them was or is swiss he should remain in swiss. He is their problem not ours |
Travel › Re: Swiss-born Nigerian Faces Deportation From Switzerland by redcliff: 9:17am On Jul 15, 2016 |
Chinom: @maternal, I was about to leave the forum when I saw your post. My reply is intended to educate you.The scenario you painted applies to Nigerians or other Africans who were born in Nigeria but came to the West as adults. Or even came as children on a Nigerian passport. That is not the situation with this 'Swiss' guy. Here is a quote from the article: "Last year, canton Zurich’s migration office ruled that the man should leave the country immediately after serving his sentence. Zurich’s cantonal administrative court has confirmed the withdrawal of his residence permit, though the judgement is not yet final. The court acknowledged that leaving Switzerland for an essentially foreign country would be a hardship, but maintained that he was young enough to learn a new language and build a new life for himself in Nigeria."
Take it from me, this guy can only go to Nigeria if he wants to. The deportation order is worthless. As a matter of fact, a good lawyer will get him his Swiss citizenship now. There is a reason his case hit the lime lights. I really do not think that this guy is in a position to make rational decisions despite his age. Some NGO will step in on his behalf. Note: He was ordered to leave the country after serving his sentence. He is not being forcefully deported. He will be given 28days to leave Switzerland which of course will not happen. If one of his parent is swiss, he is not going anywhere. He is fully swiss and he should stay in his country. I am sure he has a C permit. And he should have been given a passport when he was 15 or atleast before 20. I am sure its because of his criminal history thats why he wasnt given. But he is fully swiss! |
Romance › Re: What does a lady mean when She Says "I Was There For Him" by redcliff: 8:15am On Jul 15, 2016 |
Toks2008: I have heard many ladies use these words and i really want some ladies to clear the air on this matter.
Its amazing that some ladies juxtapose staying with a struggling guy with doing him a favour and I tend to wonder why this is so. I believe that a lady should be with a man because she wants to regardless of whether he eventually hit it big In life.
I once dated a lady and each time i gave her what i can afford she will quickly say"im struggling with you now o and nobody is seeing it" and i try hard to remember if we went out together to hustle.
So the question is;when a lady says "i was there for him when he had nothing" please what exactly does she mean?
1..Does it mean she stood by him by actively contributing to his life by bringing him food or food stuffs,by giving him her money or helping him in one way or the other materially or monetarily?
or
2.Does she mean she remained his bae when he was struggling and suffered with him by drinking the little garri he managed to buy with the little stipends he gets or because she usually collects the little he gives to her from the very little money he fortunately makes from his hustle.
Please ladies i really need to know your definition of being there for a man in times of struggles
Over to you ladies. Mumu writeup. You asked a question and you use your hand to answer your own question...smh |

jeffcheddy: Just started a relationship with an albino girl who loves me dearly. She's been faithful and helps me too when I'm broke. But I don't know what the future holds between us cos I'm a youth corper as well and we are both passing out by sept/oct. I promised to marry the next girl that comes my way, and here are my with this caring hearted girl. But my fear is what are the chances of my future kids health. What if they are all albinos,in terms of their healt issues, like eyes, skin etc. Will it not be unfair to them? Please I need advices here. Thanks There is a big possibility that non of your children would be albinos or they might have few traces of it in them which would make them look nice. I mean a blend of both dnas. But its already in the blood line amd one of your grand children or great grand children would be. I have a friend whose sister is orange and her dad and mom and nothing like that.. |
