Politics › Re: Where Were Our Politicians' Children During The Election? by redcliff: 9:23am On Mar 30, 2015 |
Stupid Op and stupid First to comment commenter. In this heated period when we are trying to know the results of the elections and this is the idea that could come up in both your heads? Nigeria is too busy right now to give a damn about the children of politicians. Even if they voted, how relevant are they to the political scene that news about them casting their votes should be flying left right and centre? Again very stupid Op and FTC |

Bifwoli: How can sane and rational voters oust visionary Jonathan in favor of the clueless bokoharam's Commander In Chief?GMB is bad for Naija and the country will become a laughing stock for electing a cluless goat herder.
GEJ till 2019. You are not God, just like we believed in 2011 Jonathan was the messiah, we massively voted him in. In 4years time, we would assess Buhari's performance, if he does badly, Nigerians would send him out just like we did Jonathan. Time they say, would tell! |

oduastates: That was unexpected. I have always told those who care to listen that fayose needn't rig the gubernetorial election. He would have won easily. People are underestimating the rate at which ekiti is losing her educated human resources to lagos, ife, ibadan and akure. The place is as local and as unenlightened as they come. I need not say more |

ronald4lif: Accept who you are and be happy. Don't let the society opinion of you and your sexuality define you. You are gay and that's it. Nothing can change that, except you want to keep living in self deceit and in a depressed state of mind. That's my advise. In your bid to try to look liberal and just postabout, rubbish just keep spewing as i read further on every word you type. Repugnant. |

Airforce1: you see This the kind of life I want to live
Sleeping and waking up in a big house owned by me
I'm really putting lotsa efforts to make my album a success
I want my album to be the talk of the town
I want my album to fetch me lotsa money that would be enough to buy a mansion at banana island
I want my name to be on everyone's lips
I want to be a Mega super star
I want my name to go international
I want Obama to know I exist
I want president barrack Obama to invite me over at the white house for dinner with his family
I just might drop out of school to pursue these dream
Yes! I CAN Il advice you not to throw an album out to the public like that except if its exceptionally bam. Even at that you need to start giving people things to anticipate your arrival. |

Politics › Re: Would Nigeria Be Better Off With A 'weighted Voting System'??? by redcliff: 11:44pm On Mar 25, 2015 |
TheRainmaker1: Wealth is not the only parameter for awarding of voting points.
Like I mentioned earlier, a composite system can be developed, using factors like Age, Education, Qualifications, Contribution to National Development, Accomplishments, etc
The voting points usually aren't fixed, but could change, with changes in the conditions of the person. E.g. as one gets older or more accomplished.
With these all clearly spelt out, one can aspire to have greater voting points by doing things that would increase his or her points. Apart from age, what does a poor man have youve mentioned on that list? |

Politics › Re: Would Nigeria Be Better Off With A 'weighted Voting System'??? by redcliff: 11:19pm On Mar 25, 2015 |
TheRainmaker1: The parameters can be decided on by our Senators and representatives. They would include things like Age, Education, Achievements, Contribution to National Development, etc Then based on that an influential person gets to have the votes of how many persons if his social status is deemd quite high? Can you not see that you are going to widen the gap between the poor, middle class and elite? |

Is it now the govt knew they would use the cbt method considering the bulk of application that came in? After they would say they are digital..a digital govt indeed. I wonder what that has to do with good governance. |
