Nigerian superstar, Wizkid literally broke the internet with his FEVER video, shared on his YouTube page about a day ago and he has taken to his social media page to celebrate.

Wizkid’s FEVER video achieved the feat of reaching a million views in not more than 24 hours after its release on YouTube.

The singer, sharing a screenshot showing that he has a million views in 20 hours, wrote alongside it, “Wicked“

It’s no doubt that the PR stunt put into the video is what made it achieve this feat but really it’s quite fascinating that he is able to pull it off and set a record… isn’t that the point? to set a record?

Some aggrieved youths on Tuesday burnt three persons suspected to be armed robbers to death at Uruk Usung village in Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

It was gathered that the suspects have been terrorizing residents of the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the suspects, who were aged between 22 and 30 years, were apprehended by the youths after robbery operations.

The source told reporters that the mobs, after beating the suspects to a pulp; quickly set them ablaze before help could come.

Meanwhile, when contacted, the Akwa Ibom police spokesma, DSP MacDon Odiko, said he was yet to be briefed by the area Divisional Police Officer on the incident.

A man has been caught with three hissing cobras in his scooter’s boot space in a bizarre attempt to smuggle the animals.

Wildlife activists spotted the man frequenting a forest region in Bandipur, Karnataka in India on October 17.

The activists stopped him to search his scooter and were shocked to find three cobras inside the boot space.

Nigerian superstar musician, Wizkid, wrapped up performances for the Glo Mega concert in Accra on Saturday night in a rather casual fashion.

He came on stage in a black hoodie over a pair of jeans. Underneath it was his pair of slippers over pair of his socks.

However, minutes into his performance, he paused to render an apology to the fans and respectable people in the audience, asking them to forgive him for wearing a pair of slippers on stage.

He explained he meant no disrespect; rather it was because he arrived in Ghana an hour to his performance. That, he revealed, prevented him from wearing something else.

“Ghana… I like to take this opportunity to apologise for performing in slippers,” he added briefly.

A Ugandan civil servant instructed his wife to bury him with a cash amount of Sh 6 million which is about N600k when converted to Nigerian naira. The money was meant to appease God for the deceased’s earthly sins.

52-year-old Charles Obong until his death was a senior personnel officer at the Ministry of Public Service for a decade. His son-in-law confirmed that his will stated that his wife should deposit a huge amount of money in his coffin.

The money was to be given to God on the Day of Judgment as an offertory so that his sins could be forgiven.

Even though the exact sin was not stated, he asked his brother and sister to ensure that his wife does as he instructed.

Uganda’s Daily Monitor news portal reports that he died after a protracted illness and was buried in his ancestral home in the northern Lira district of the country. The portal adds that the metallic coffin he was buried in cost Sh 500,000.

His will was however ‘violated’ over the weekend after his remains were exhumed and the money removed by his clan members.
