ISpiksDaTroof: Cellphones are now your criteria to judging poverty? For your info, most Nigerians live in rural areas, and majority of the people that live in those areas live in very deplorable conditions and are poor as dirt.

Go figure.

Religion / Re: Mandelanism - A New African Religion? by RedLight1: 2:39pm On Dec 06, 2013
Akpan107: No one will be saved in the name of Mandela.
Mandela is not the only one that fought for the freedom his poeple.
martin Luther king did the same.
Christ came to save the world and to save us (including mandela) from our sins.
Jesus is the savior of the whole world.
jesus christ was suppose to be jews messiah but he failed cos the jews didnot accept him.
catholic churches/priests saw it as an opportunity to control the world and boost slavery and they imposed him on us.
jesus never saved anyone, he didnot even have the power to save himself from the jews.

every continent, race, colour have its heroes. likes moses to the jews, luther king n Lincoln to black race, madiba to africa.
there can never be world messiah in form of human being, unelse the allien inavdes with something more superior to humans and i doubt allien exists.

Rossikk:

Dude, if you have no food to eat why not go to your village and farm instead of assuming others are all hungry failures like you?

Or is your village experiencing a famine?

Or you can get a bowl and beg at your local bus stop. Even that will get you enough money to feed yourself. So what is your problem?

Ode oshi (cannot feed himself).

Politics / Re: Are You Proudly Nigerian Only During Football Tournaments? by RedLight1: 12:49pm On Nov 09, 2013
ogugua88: That's what it feels like with some people. I don't notice this kind of patriotism on Independence Day sef. On October 1, people are busy cursing the country and saying that Nigeria has done nothing for them. However, yesterday, and after the AFCON win (after Nigerians were against them from the group stages), people have brushed dust from their flags and waves them high again. I'd like to think Nigeria has more than football to be grateful for.

Anyway, my patriotism is never turned off. There's no such thing as a perfect nation. So, through thick and thin, I'm always a proud Nigerian.
aint this beautiful? cry

duni04:
Isn't it rather ironic that African countries keep winning these youth competitions over and over again and yet have never been able to replicate these victories at the senior level? Same reason why these players fizzle into obscurity shortly after winning these competitions. Its cos they're old! Let's not all forget what Partizan belgrade said about Taribo west's age. The main reason for these youth competitions is to raise and identify future talent and not the trophies. Its a concept Africans are yet to understand. So while the rest of the world continues using these competitions to build future teams that will be successful later on, we can continue winning them with old men that will surely fizzle out in a few years.
so these guys really look over aged to u

only god knows what u look like when u were 17

Only a bastard gives the direction to his father's house with the left hand... Yoruba adage.

I work and live in Ghana until i find my way back to Nigeria, either by getting a transfer back or getting another job back home asap... so i know better about this country than you... i will not swap my country for Ghana. For your information, Nigerians are a source of envy and anger to the majority here... for no real reason other than the fact that they resent us for being the big bullish brother with more zest for life and more resources cum resourcefulness.

Nigeria is about to play Mexico and "most" peeps here are rooting for Mexico not because they love the south american country... They always wish that we fail in many fronts. That's the extent of the envy.

There is a high level of 'hypocritical' corruption here... I know because i have dealt with the police and some government ministries before... it is done in the 'clean mouth' mode.

Let's have the audacity of hope for Nigeria...

Look before u leap. Think before you speak or type.

you dont have to reply that bas.tard ...by their fruit u shall know them.

everything out there is better than theirs ( bastard will always be bastard) awon omo irankiran ti won fi owo osi ju we ile

most of them never live outside the country before, so they think it all well and good on the other side.
