What exactly is the excuse for not wanting to find a black female that isnt of "loser status" is the question really and you are right, no one is to say that he has to but like I said, they feel like it's putting them at a disadvantage.
CultureRe: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by RedLips3(f): 4:51pm On May 07, 2007
well I guess their question is if they are going to look for someone else who isnt a loser(one "o" Btw), why not look for another black woman who is "up there and will help them become stronger" instead of giving up on their race entirely.

Personally I don't care. I don't need to beg for love/force someone to want to stay with me  wink

For Gods sake poeple should learn how not to discuss matters ignorantly. The ban slamed on that bitch is deserved. The event that led to her ban was because she lacked morales and good conduct. For some body who has a roll to play in a film while every body was waiting she was called by this guy who just drove in with a big car. She immediately abandoned the film, her role and the directors and rode off with the dude. Is that a good example for the up coming stars for Gods sake she should be kept in the cooler for a long time as far as am concerned. Bleep the bum!
Where exactly are your "morales" when you are calling a girl a "bitch" and a "bum" cos of rumors?
CultureRe: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by RedLips3(f): 3:52pm On May 07, 2007
Now the people I blame so much are the sistas that go having babies 4 losers
I must say, I definitely agree with you on this, Ikomi. Most black women complain about being taken for granted but that's because they tend to accept ANY kind of loser all in the name of being there for a "black brother". They know if they do wrong and crawl back, you'll take them so why the hell wont they use that against you? shio.

Your mom was in a better position, david because as a doctor she can go to any hospital had they tried to give her problems for wanting to change around schedules. That's one of the great advantages of having a job where you pretty much have the right to make the rules.

My mom's a workholic, as a nurse she worked too damn much and always wanted more hours to have money for us in Nigeria.  growing up before leaving to stay with extended family in Nigeria, we pretty much saw my dad the most. He helped with homework, food, he's a germaphobe so he was always cleaning, everything. When she had time, she did tons of shit too. That's how it goes. Marriage is about sharing responsiblities and compromises

Not making dumb excuses like "well had she been around then I wouldnt have cheated", the fact that both male and female are defending that reasoning makes me sick.
CultureRe: Marriage Squeeze: Is This Only An African American Woman's Problem? by RedLips3(f): 3:17pm On May 06, 2007
Lol David, it's true 80% of the time. Unless the black male is rich and famous, most of the time you see them with some fugly looking white bumpkins, ugh. Especially the Nigerian guys in London and the states, face wowo past wowo. when it's not wowo they are morbidly obese.

Ridiculous really and I'm definitely NOT against interracial relationships as I was in one for over 2 years, but it's like if you're going to date outside your race, can you please go for the prized crop and not weeds. Gosh.

as for carrying weight well, I think she means a black obese woman looks better than a white obese woman which is true. They get spider veins and their strech marks and stuff are very visible as opposed to black women.

She wasn't looking for happiness from her job - she was trying to make a living for both of them, and this is how her broke-ass hubby repays her!
Thank you, jare. Bothers me greatly when it's females that cant empathize with a fellow female.

Like mentioned earlier, it's one thing had he made it clear that her hours bothered him but he didnt. Loser.

private business, private shop blah blah blah

Who goes to school suffering thru strikes and all sorts of garbage for a degree just to set up some stupid business like every other commoner who probably didnt even go to school.

They live in VI. Obviously an expensive place, how horrible of the woman to try to also provide some income for the family. Am I the only one who read where she said that she begged her office to relocate her? seems like it.

I am surprised by the reaction of some people here especially with the names calling "pigs", "dogs" Whenever as a woman you decide to get married then you must consider the type of job that you do. You can't eat your cake and have it. Either marry the bank and stay therein or be prepared to share your man with some one else (it might even be another man).
So women should do the same right? I mean if a guy is off doing business trips in oither country then the wife has every right in the world to sleep with the neighbor.

OEven if she is the ugliest girl and will never be his type in a million years, the fact that he sees her everyday, she gives him the attention that he wants - its only a matter of time before the evil deed is done. (Even the best men fall - especially when the temptation is handed to him on a siler platter).

The reader really needs to re-arrange her work issues beofre this happens again.
Yes let's blame the woman shall we for believing that when she got married that her husband would actually take the vows seriously

How foolish of her to be trusting cos all men are such dogs that they just CANT do without cheating abi?

Ridiculous.

so you think wedding in the church will uphold your right in your matrimonial homehuh?
If you go outside of Nigeria with just traditional done, how exactly do you intend to show PROOF that you two are married? Perhaps you intend to show everyone a picture of a calabash or kolanut as proof that you two are married in the eyes of the law?
