I am a teacher. It's how I define myself. A good teacher isn't someone who gives the answers out to their kids but is understanding of needs and challenges and gives tools to help other people succeed. That's the way I see myself, so whatever it is that I will do eventually after politics, it'll have to do a lot with. #EMMANUEL_PRIMARY_SCHOOL_ONDO_WEST. ONDO STATE

It's much more easier to become poor than to become rich and most people prefer the easiest path. Let me help those that want to be poor with 10 tips: 1. Never wake up early. Keep stretching, rolling, dreaming and turning in bed until hunger wakes you up. If there are no films to watch or bedbugs or cockroaches and rats clutching round you, why hurry to get up? 2. Don't engage in petty business activities usually reserved for the "uneducated" folks. How can a graduate engage in petty trading, farming, sale Kunu, buying and selling or home-based production? They are far below my academic "dignity". 3. Never think of starting a business until Buhari or Gov. Lalong or Gov Ortom sends angel Gabriel from heaven to give you capital. Rather keep day dreaming of one day you will own a Plaza in Abuja and a house in Dubai. Even though most businesses on your street started small with little capital, but because you believe you are the smartest person you will only start with millions. 4. Never think of saving or investing your income until you have millions of Naira. Those advising you to save are not sympathetic that you earn only little and have many pressing needs. Every month you have millions of beautiful excuses why you can't save. 5. Never plan how to spend your earning before it comes. When you earn your "little income", spend and try to count and recall how you spent it when the money is finished. 6. Refuse to accept you have an attitude problem and you are lazy but blame everybody including witches for your woes. Blame the system, the government, your relations, your political appointees, the cooperatives and the banks that refused to lend you money. Everything and everyone around you is evil and are against you getting rich. Go round Pastors to pray for you to miraculously get rich. 7. Spend more than you earn. Owe all your neighbors, friends and traders, buy consumer products on credit and keep borrowing from friends and employers. |

My brother, please read Cardinal Okogie in today's Vanguard at page 7. Yoruba is no coward. The man of God said "To avoid going to war is not cowardice. It is to have the courage to subdue our ego and negotiate. ....." Better still, go get a copy of El Rufai's book titled "Accidental civil servant" and read the dialogue between the Author and Baba Obasanjo the then President. You will appreciate the value of native intelligence of the Yoruba which some ignoramus called cowardice. Pray, has Yoruba ever lost any war whether of the guns, intellectual, political or spiritual? No. Check the political, Social and religious history of Nigeria. Who checkmated the advancement of the Fulanis to the South in 1807 at the famous Jalumi war outside Offa at Odo Otin to be precise? Who opened the gate of influx of our youths to the western world in search of Knowledge and sound education after the obnoxious policy and body called "Ijamba Foriti " otherwise known as Jamb? Remember the Exploit of the Yoruba in Nadeco that crippled the country to the extent that the dark goggled wearing General Abacha could not step into Yoruba land for four years. When Jonathan Administration with the aids of Pius Anyim schemed out the Yoruba out of his government inspite of protestations from the likes of Baba Bode George and other PDP leaders in Yorubaland, the Yoruba simply went to work with their brains to see to his exit after all, they put him there in the first place through careful planning. Today, the Yoruba are the best educated black professionals in the USA. If in doubt check out the high brow teaching hospitals in the USA, UK, South Africa and Europe. The Yoruba stand out. Take a trip to Cardiff University in the UK, you'll think you are in Unilag. I was at a teaching hospital in Cape Town in February this year. On the Notice Board of this air Ambulance running teaching hospital was displayed the names of the consultants and specialists. Of the 41 consultants on the Notice Board were 17 Nigerians 16 of whom are of Yoruba extraction and the 17th Nigerian hails from Edo state going by his name. I was elated when to my dismay, the helicopter pilot that took me to my hotel from the hospital turned out to be another Nigerian of Yoruba extraction and indeed from my local government back home in Nigeria. These Eminent Yoruba professionals are victims of the gang up against Yoruba interest. In 1960, the Yoruba was kept out of government but we made no notice. In 1963/64, Midwest was carved out of the West leaving the North and the East intact and untouched. Lagos Island and some parts of Apapa was carved out of the West as federal capital territory by the expansionists who had their eyes on our choice land, again, we let them be. In 1979 to 1983, there was a gang up against the Yoruba again as they were kept out of government whilst the South East took the VP, the Speaker and of course, Cross River took the Senate Presidency. Then came the Jonathan Era, the old Eastern Region had the President, the Deputy Senate President, the Deputy Speaker, the Secretary to the Government, the Finance Minister, the central bank Governor after Sanusi, the Petroleum Minister, the SEC, DG, the Sure P Executive Secretary, the Director of Budget, the Director of procurement, the Aviation minister, the IGP and many more leaving the Yoruba with only one key ministry of Agriculture. Now compare and contrast the above scenario with Obasanjo regime of all inclusiveness. His finance Minister was Igbo, CBN Governor was Igbo, Army Chief was Tiv, later Igbo and Later Kaje from southern Kaduna. His DG of Nafdac was Igbo, his IGP was Yoruba, his External Affairs was Fulani, his Speaker was Fulani alongside with the VP, the Senate Presidency goes to Igbo land whilst the SGF went to Cross River throughout his 8 years reign. Even the PDP chairmanship was denied a Nothetner of Yoruba extraction by Obasanjo on the ground that he a Yoruba man being the President should not allow another Yoruba man though from the North to occupy the chairmanship of PDP. I am speaking of Chief Awoniyi here. I make bold to say here that Yoruba leaders at various levels of governance have fair sense of justice compare to those who would not mind filling all available positions under them with their kinsmen. It always back fire on them day in day out. Compare the administration of Obasanjo in terms of appointments and infrastructures like roads to that of subsequent administrations in this 4th Republic. It was the gang up against Yoruba interest that led millions of Yoruba to migrate to other parts of the world where they are now shinning like stars. Ijamba Foriti was conceived to keep the Yoruba down. University of Ife was taken over for the purpose of truncating the plan of Yoruba nation to turn the University into Yoruba speaking where medium of teaching and instructions would be Yoruba language. If in doubt ask Admiral Akin Aduwo. At every point in time the Yoruba employees power of reasoning over emotion whilst some other nationals resort to emotion, intimidation, threat and outright force. Me think the approach of the Yoruba is the best in the circumstances. It is not cowardice to subject issues to empirical analysis before taking a decision. I am a Yoruba man, I am proud to be one and I would go for the Yoruba approach which is laced with loads and loads of native intelligence. We don't need to stand in front of a moving train just to prove bravery. It is the height of stupidity. |
Are you not aware that in 1979, Igbo has only two states, Anambra and Imo whereas Yoruba has four states. Today Igbo has five states and Yorubas has six states. Are you not aware that Igbo has six senators in 1979 whereas Yoruba has twelve senators. Today they have fifteen senators whereas we have eighteen senators. Calculate the percentage increase. Let us ask, who has been marginalized? They will come to us that those Hausas are bad they are not educated, they are Muslims, they want to Islamise Nigeria, they are this and that yet they will go behind to form an alliance with them. Strategically they have been reducing our economic potential because they have been able to increase their slots in geometric progression and ours is in arithmetic progression. More slots in Federal appointments whereas ours have continued to reduce. Are you aware that the Land mass that make up the five Eastern states is not up to Oyo state yet they have been able to create five states out of it. The first group of people that started trading in spare parts are Yoruba particularly our people from Ijebu-Ode but they have been muscled out of the business. The idea of Geo-political Zone was mouthed by Ojukwu to favour the Igbo. Now through Jonathan conference they said they are being marginalized because they are the only Geo-political zone with five states. Can you imagine that? From two states. That is what I called strategic thinking. Unfortunately, Yorubas that went to that conference agreed with them foolishly particularly afenifere in the likes of Yinka Odumakin. What a tragedy. Let's ask them, what did Yorubas that attended the conference brought home? The answer is nothing. The issue of Biafra being championed by Kanu is not by accident, it is a grand design to negotiate for more. Now it is coming out, South East Development commission. Why don't we ask, to be funded by who? If it is agreed they will continue to reduce our economic potential in the Nigerian state. But, come to think of it why don't you let Biafra be. They are adding no value to us and I can bet you that nobody will miss them. Remember that they fired the first shot that started Nigerian civil war. Killing Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello and some notable Yorubas. Of recent, Chinue Achebe wrote a book "There was a Country". Accusing Awolowo of committing Progrom. What a tragic write up. The question to ask is who started the war? Can I continue to feed my enemy to have more strength to battle me. Igbo would never change. Domination is in their blood and they can only be satisfied if they have what belongs to you and you have not. Yoruba E Ronu yin o #copied |
HOW TO IDENTIFY PHARISEES IN YOUR CHURCH 1. They go to work early but come to church late. 2. They beg their boss when they err but threaten to leave church whenever there is a misunderstanding. 3. They work hard to be promoted at work but treat the work of God with levity. 4. They pay all their dues in the workplace but refuse to pay tithe in the church. 5. They buy costly things for their boss to get favour but can't even buy airtime for their pastor. 6. When they are not going to be in the office, they take permission ahead from their superior; but expect pastor and elders to pay them visits when they miss church without notice. 7. They fear and respect their boss than their pastor and even sometimes more than God. 8. When they are sick they manage to go to work but they cannot manage to come to the church. 9. They take official query serious but handle divine rebuke with disdain. 10. They tolerate their colleagues in the workplace but cannot tolerate the brethren. 11. They turn off their phones at workplace, but use calls to distract other worshippers in Church. 12. They can work overtime in the office but get offended at the pastor if he's not closing at the stipulated time. |

When will the bell ring, and end this weariness? How long have they tugged the leash, and strained apart My pack of unruly hounds: I cannot start Them again on a quarry of knowledge they hate to hunt, I can haul them and urge them no more. No more can I endure to bear the brunt Of the books that lie out on the desks: a full three score to mark Of several insults from parents and of blotted pages and scrawl Of slovenly work that #NPOWER have offered me. I am sick, and tired more than any thrall Upon the woodstacks working weariedly. And shall I take The last dear fuel and heap it on my soul Till I rouse my will like a fire to consume Their dross of indifference, and burn the scroll Of their insults in punishment? - I will not! I will not waste myself to embers for them, Not all for them shall the fires of my life be hot, For myself a heap of ashes of weariness, till sleep Shall have raked the embers clear: I will keep Some of my strength for myself, for if I should sell It all for #NOPWER, I should hate them - - I will sit and wait for the bell and Buhari for a permanent deal. I still remain a surebet247 agent, till NOPWER volunteer become a staff |

Juventus vs Real Madrid. Juventus come into this game after stifling two of the better attacking teams in Europa. Firstly, they beat Barcelona 3-0 at home, and then drew 0-0 away, and showed that their defence is that good, while also winning 2-0 away at Monaco, and then winning 2-1 at home over them. Very impressed with their compact defence and they do not give much away, and will need to be like that against another very good attack. Real Madrid won 2-1 at Bayern Munich, and then lost 2-1 at home to them in normal time, as it then went into extra time. There they showed their killer instinct in front of goals, as they scored three times to go into the semi finals. There they also showed their defence is solid, as they won 3-0 at home to city rival Atletico Madrid, before losing 2-1 to them, but it was enough for them to progress through to the final. These two teams met two years ago in the semi-finals, as Juventus won 2-1 at home, and then they drew 1-1 at Real Madrid. Can't go past their defence which managed to deny two of the better defences, and this Real Madrid attack is very good, but Juventus has shown that they can stop even the best of them. Defensively, Real Madrid is good, but not to the same level as Juve's, while Juventus have shown that they have ability in creating chances, and scoring from them. Like them to edge this and lift the Champion's League trophy. Pick Juventus to win #copied |
Akhisar Belediye vs Karabukspor. Last round in Turkey. Akhisar had last 6 games in the league all victories. They are team in the best form at moment in Turkey, and I doubt they will mess up at the end. So I believe they will win today as well. They are attacking side, playing always to win, thinking only about opponents goal. Karabukspor is 3 games without win. For them this season is over for long time ago. At last 3 games we saw many goals at their games. 13, what makes over 4 goals per game in last 3 games. Odds for home win around 1.35. Karabukspor will play without several first 11 players and this will become public bet for sure in next hours. So I pick here over1.5 first half as better option IMO. Stake this time will be 10/10 as I believe Akhisar will trash Karabukspor even in the first half. Good luck !!! #copied |
