chrisxxx: It was absolutely their plans. No ethnic group hates Rivers people like the Igbos. I dont know their reasons. When you go closer to them the heap of animosity they nurse for Rivers people is beyond human imagination. Wike knows this and immediately called Rivers people to end the EndSars campaign before those with ulterior motive would take advantage of it to unleash their venoms and mayhem on the public space. The Igbos should be advised to love themselves and love others. You can't exist alone. You want Rivers State and other N/Delta States to join your fathom Biafra but every day all you have for them are disdain, bitterness, dislike and hatred. No human would come near you. The Ikwerre man has become an eternal enemy to you people. It is quite unfortunate. Abeg which city do you stay please. I have a whole depot of Heineken I want shipped you abeg. |

NNEWIsuper: You're digressing seriously.. If you have a problem with igbo presidency come open.. I thought u said you were pro-igbo.. Do ipob listen or take advice from Ohaneze or South East governors? That their summit should be about Oyigbo.. Mind yourself and don't get me angry biko The igbo will be a stronger Union if it's a nation on its own, this however shouldn't deter igbo presidency which I've been a champion of for years especially. Offline. But trust me. Na. Igbo man go plot. The igbo presidency assassination. Go and write it down I said so |
Politics › Re: Some Nairalanders Rejoicing Over The Death Of Innocent Igbos by RedPhoenix: 7:32pm On Nov 01, 2020 |
No sane mind should rejoice in the death of even one soul regardless of ethnicity or religion. Be that as it mere that many times in life things goes awry and not as planned is not a cause to celebrate anyone's ills or misfortunes. But when people who suffer misfortune begin to act coy and brandish accusations at people who don't wish them I'll it then becomes a systematic tool to use misfortunes to guiltrip people and make them psychological and emotional slaves
No one is happy at the death of anyone, yoruba, igbo or hausa. And we. Condemn unnecessary killings of human beings. While this is our stand and we stand together with people who may suffer brief misfortunes, we strongly sand against using the ills to act as a weapon towards people who are assumed to not be affected by such ills
Put these " anti-igbo sentiments" away when we discuss issues. And let's together condemn the killings and death of young ones. It's annoying.
It's very very annoying. |

NNEWIsuper: Seriously you said my mind.. I am Igbo myself but not an unreasonable one.. Someone orders them to kill army and take their weapons and they do so without even reasoning that every action has its consequences.. For one I'm in support of the military and army because of ipob is allowed to continue with their rubbish, before u know it they create chaos in East and the Nigerian army will flood everywhere with soldiers while someone somewhere will be happy to use it for propaganda for his selfish gratification.. To me any ipob member should be taken down.. Nonsense I'm always pro-igbo anyday anytime. But only on a defensive posture, not in an assault stance |

Jeferious: this social media people sef and their mentality. See eh....UN and the ICC is not as saintly as you think. Have you heard of any trial of any member of the Allied bloc being tried for war crimes after the second world war? Or you think only Hitler and his friends committed war crimes?
I'm Igbo. From Enugu. And I'm a youth too. But after my father's death, I learnt one thing: YOU are the only person who YOU can trust to always come to your own rescue. If you like, tag UN and the ICC from now till whenever, if they are not interested in Oyigbo, they are not, and nothing will change that. What you should do is to find a rifle and some ammunition and go and face those Hausa-Fulani soldiers as you call them and reply them fire for fire, or you shut both your hands and your mouth and act like a decent citizen of Nigeria that have a life to guard.
Oyigbo youths burnt police stations and even shot at the Army...and your Nnamdi Kanu even placed a bounty on an incumbent governor's head, only for you lots to cry blue murder when the action set .......abeg don't be ridiculous. Muna4real: Okay how did it happen? Ipob got up and started killing hausas Abi? That's the story you want to hear. I don't know why you guys think that ipob will kill Hausas in Rivers when they haven't done anything to them in the south east. What's so special about the hausas in Oyigbo? Do they carry gold and silver? What do they have that the ones in IMO, Eboyi, Anambra, Abia and Enugu do not have. Tell me. As I speak with you. I have atleast 5 persons on ground right there and I'm. Privy to first hand narratives of events madam Even so. It was all there in the media glaring for those who watched how it started keenly. |

luvmijeje: Do they truly want to secede?
I am not seeing any sign of seriousness.
They want to secede and I am not seeing any of this signs
* The Governors are not speaking up in support * The Traditional leaders in the 5 states are not speaking up in support * The Igbos outside the South East are not speaking out * Those in the National Assembly are not speaking out * And above all, the South East Region has no seaport, has no population to consume what he's trading and small land mass and he still wants to secede. As far I'm concern its just a trick to get power. No. I actually believe the SE is not entirely treated in the best possible way. There are clear facts that points to this. While secession through referendum is a decision many Ndigbo and other non-Ndigbo who are supported of this cause remains, we constantly maintain the secession without wasting young lives, brought about by grooming them to become state enemies to then fight the state. Yes, SE wants to secede and as I always say in my public speeches. I advice all igbos to support secession over power because it can control the vertical and horizontal lines of how it should exist. But, training young men to go out to kill. Hausas going about their normal lives burning their communities I will never stand for. Even in an independent Ndigbo, there still will be Hausas. So I'm pro-tolerant, pro-process in how things should be done. And yes, without hatred. |

Muna4real: I copied this text from the link you gave me
On the 20th of October ENDSARS protesters storm the streets , moving from road to road going towards ELEME demanding for an end to police brutality.
When some people, civilians like them stopped them and denied them passage. I comfirmed from multiple sources and my sources said those who stopped where of the Hausa extraction. (I don't know why, but their actions must not be unconnected to the narrative that the ENDSARS protest was political motivated, and heavily influenced by now proscribed succession ist group IPOB
Their actions didn't sit well with the protesters as they felt they being denied passage through their indigenous land.
The fracas quickly resulted to violence, in the process one life was lost. An Hausa Man
I bolded the word narrative for you to see for yourself that everything that took place was as a result of a mere narrative. How will they not mention ipob when wike has labelled all the protesters ipob? Have you seen any ipob protester without a biafran flag? Or without ipob printed materials? Why have you decided not to use your brain? Wike is pursuing something else and not ipob. How else will you explain the careless killings of innocent citizens by the army? Imagine going from house to house to harass young men and women. Isn't that the definition of stupidity? Is that how to look for "ipob members "? That guy Spinned the narrative. That's not how it happened o. |
Politics › Re: Extrajudicial Killings In Oyigbo: Is It Right? by RedPhoenix: 3:15pm On Nov 01, 2020 |
gidgiddy: Anyone can say anything. Mere words are not proof of anything. One thing is definitely clear. Wilkes narrative that IPOB just got up one morning, started to kill people in Oyigbo, burning down Police stations and killing Soldiers is simply not true.
Videos have now emerged that right before Wike proscribed IPOB on 23rd of October, there was a 4 way battle between Oyigbo residents, Northerners, the security forces and ENDSARS protesters. There were serious problems in Oyigbo
But according to Wike and his supporters, IPOB just got one morning and started destroying lives and property. There was no mention of the Northerners nor ENDSARS. Everything was IPOB's fault.
Just giving a Dog a bad name to hang it Na so. Continue peddling your anti-igbo narratives. Go and do your research so you won't say you were lied to about the incidences. |

Eastlink: Nigerian army has done worst in the middle-belt as it has done in the south. There is always this ethnic thing about the security forces that have made Nigeria a worst place to live in. This is the reason why people are asking questions about how this country is run. The earlier this cultures changes, the better. Else, a time might come when people won't trust the multi as it us already happening where people take laws into their hands.
Make you self check am. Now you're talking like a man at the palm. Wine table That's why ipob should never be in an offensive posture, but defensive See. If ipob kill 12000 hausa or Fulani in a defensive posture. Other non-ibos will lend support if needs arises. But if a non-ibos dies from a deliberate attack of ipob, even if it's one person, it should be condemned as that's no longer tribal protectionism but hate induced killing... Its killing for the fun of it That's why the best way to keep the army o, police away is to not do what will make them come I've never had more than 1 issue with police or security. Why, I hate them so much I don't do what will make me have things with them The law the Bible says is made for the lawless not for the law abiding. |
