@khaynoni,

In addition to what simiolu1 said, you can get so many tutorials and do some self training by if you have good internet connection. Lynda.com, vtc.com, and infinteskills tutorials abound online through diverse torrents.

Hello house,

Is there any restriction concerning TAFE for foreign students now (as regards to staying back/PR)? Someone told me that such opportunity is not available again but I don't know at all.

No o,its the school I applied for requested for my results and certificate to be certified.I explained earlier and I also stated that I went through the school website and they mentioned their representative, doctors, lawyers etc.if the school made such statement why I no go obey lol cheesy
Sorry to ask though; is it certification they are talking about or EVALUATION? Majority of US schools request for evaluation a lot, through WES and another agency like that. I dont know which is the case here.

i couldn't apply from Nigeria because i m not living in Nigeria at the moment. My SOP was ok,i guess they denied me the visa for no reason....the reason they gave is that Nigeria economy is not as strong as that of Australia, that i might not come back after my study.I was also subjected under AL3 ,which made my application to stayed for almost 3months....it was the day i called them to know the update, that i got the refusal notice...

I quite disagree with you based on the reason you out here.

I would even say that Oz student visa is very easy, with low refusal rate, compared to other countries.

WHich program did you apply for? I can see AL3 and SVP, but they are different.

The 2 guys u have written off here Ladoja and Akala (excluding Folarin tho) are actually the biggest contenders here. If u don't know this I don't know what u know about Oyo politics. And if u rubbish my statement, sure go ahead. I will quote all the funny statements I have read on this thread after the elections including yours.
Oga, to be sincere, I would have loved Makinde to win had it been he was in either PDP or Accord. Ladoja has an upper hand over Akala and can go ahead to win the election, although he has his own lapses. He could have used someone like Makinde to bear the flag of the party but he never did that.

As for Akala, I can never write him off but he can't win the election at all. If Ajimobi is re-elected, it is a case of sticking with the necessary evil. Had it been that personality is taken into consideration without party affiliation, by the electorate, Makinde is the best bet.

To be sincere, Ajimobi is a disappointment.

Dont mind them, Amala politics and tout like governance must be killed finally this year in Oyo State, the Governor is gradually correcting the damaged psyche of the many indigenes about how govt. must be run, Luckily for him, his 4 major rivals(2 former governors, 1 senator, and a fresh and seemingly brilliant face) have gubernatorial tickets, meaning they are scattered in 4 places, as such, with 35-40% of votes cast, he will be re-elected. He has an average performance, and needs to do a whole lot more in the primary/secondary education sector.

My brother, while he remained the best to have happened to Oyo governance, he fumbled greatly. Did you watch his campaign rally last week? He started very well and diverted away from his notable works majestically; all because of Second term.

On education, what is he doing? Nothing at all. The technical university he promised is not functional yet. He is not serious to me (mind you, I have been his supported since 2003 when he contested for Senate), as he can easily allow sense of second term becloud sense of judgment. As big as Oyo State is, the state should be engaged in agric revolution, but nothing much in that. Thanks to him for the investors he has invited, but the state is too big for minute industrialization, because it won't speak much of his effort.

He has tried, but he relapsed a lot.

Your friend was right to an extent. In a case whereby you use your MSc to apply for PhD, you will have been streamlined to what you did at the MSc level, but if it BSc to PhD, no need for that; also to an extent, I guess, as it may be taken from your BSc research project.

To add to what simiolu1 said, igetemi should try to build his foundation calculus (elementary and advanced) and linear algebra. That is what all of Physics is built on. If he can do that, he will find it interesting to study.

You are welcome bro. All the best in your endeavours and speedy success too.

@Alexyswiss, one thing about Physics is that you can switch into any field you like, even in the area of medicine. The area of Aero in its technicality aspect is out of the scope of Physics, only in the research field; hence, there is nothing like Aero Physics. However, if you want to move into the aero world, it is a different career on its own and you are free to get into it. I believe your first degree in Physics will get you into Piloting, should you desire to fly planes.

The best thing you can do is to get to their website and see if you can get the desired information you want. Should it be unavailable, you can give a call to the department or find time to visit the school.

If you have a flair for Space Communications or anything related to space, Ionospheric Physics should be a good option but if you want to narrow it down to communication, you can choose Radio Propagation Physics. The two options are quite good, I believe. I think some universities combine the two together; Radio Propagation and Ionospheric Physics.

@Babatawa, go and look for mamatawa at the laboratory. You must not deny Nigeria her own Currie family.

@babatawa, hope mamatawa is a physicist too? winkwinkwink You may be the next Currie in waiting o

I think FUTA is good in Physics. I didnt study there but I know many who did and are very good physicists; FUTO is also good too. You can check FUTMINNA, but I am not sure about their pedigree, compared to the previous two.

What about postgrad study in Telecoms in ABU? I read in Newspaper in 2013 that Etisalat wanted to partner with them in building that area in the university.

Your arguments for tithing hold no [SPIRITUAL] value at all.
In fact, you are doing more harm and damage.

Gracious greetings to my elders here.

While I may relate with what Image was trying to infer here and I understand what he meant by that "caveat", I will really say the root lies in the practices in our churches.

However, what Candour said is nothing but the truth. I have witnessed some myself, but not of his own degree.
Like it was said earlier, CONTENTMENT is a very important virtue that is being eroded quickly in Christendom today, and that is why some practices are still done.

Can you please let me know the agents u have talked to and their price and which of them will not ask for bank statement for svp. You can send the reply to my email seunmark06@gmail.com if the can't write it here.
Agents are not the ones doing it, it is the school (University now) that do all those things you are asking for. All what you need is check for the schools under the SVP program and apply. Besides, you still need to submit a bank statement, to make the school sure of your capability to pay your tuition and cater for yourself in Oz, and pay the first semester fee before they give you the CoE.

surveyor1: Australia immigration has released a memo on Ebola, although it was stated that no additional related visa measures are required at this time but applicants from the affected area feeling unwell with sudden onset of fever, aches and pain should delay his travel to Australia and seek medical advise ASAP. Humm, I am smelling something here for the prospective applicants, people should keep praying. For those who have got their COE, please apply oooooo.
I don't think there will be a problem at all, save a little delay that might accompany the visa issuance, after they might have subjected an applicant to thorough medical check.
