Richie0974: The bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge.....
NB Am not a saraki supporter
Why should they stone him with stones and water, the man is still a leader. For crying out loud he's still the Senate President. It only shows the level of animalistic behavior some people have if they can start stoning the senate President just because he's being tried in court and has not even be found guilty yet. Even animals respect their leaders so why can't we just for the mean time respect ours. There is only one description for your write-up : Rubbish |

Its amazing how many haters there are on NL; the lady is doing well for herself, is eminently accomplished and is not complaining. Yet some small minded people with less than $300 to their name wish to marry her off by force. The wisdom of your fathers is not necessarily the path to the future. How many people are remembered for who they got married to? How many marriages (including yours if applicable, and those of your parents are happy ones? Go and get a life. |
Politics › Re: Ministers Are Very Important And Not Noisemakers: A Reply To PMB by redsceptic: 8:58am On Sep 17, 2015 |
mrvitalis: Tonye... the fact that people actually praise ur analysis shows the level of decay in Nigerian educational system Let me educate u a little bit 1) a minister is a mere representative of the president in that ministry 2) the president can pass his directives or give instructions based on his manifesto to any ministery WITH OR WITHOUT A MINISTER 3) ministers are only needed when the president wants to reduce the work load on him.... And if the president is not complaining..... I wonder y u should.. .... .. Rubbish. And the fact that as at writing, you have 225 upvotes speaks volumes of the intellectual capacity of most nairaland readers. |

onatisi: When gej awarded the contract of guarding oil pipelines to local vigilante groups of the areas affected many said he was clueless ,now the reason is becoming clear and obvious Your comments leave a lot to be desired. Nowhere in the world do you employ brigands to guard national installations. That GEJ did it and you support him shows the shallowness of your thinking and his lack of capacity to govern. Why do we have an airforce, army or navy? We may as well contract out the war in NE Nigeria to fulani mercenaries or maybe we should withdraw the police force from the streets and hand over to neighborhood vigilantes. smh... Reason has fled the arena |

Uncleodi: If I hear!
The guy is obviously looking for appointment with style...
Abeg hit like for me joor Over and over, those of us who see a dismal future for the Nigerian state are justified in our pessimism. What other conclusion can be reached when the youth population is intellectually deficient? The above quoted individual (and many others as well) reads in Reno Omokri's article a subtle jockeying for government position. I suggest they read the article in entirety before commenting, paying especial attention to the last two paragraphs and searching for hidden meaning and inferences. This is not beyond their mental capacity. I weep for the Nigerian youth. |

Northocracy1: Total Northernization is the way! Nigeria must have a similar ideology, Nigeria must speak with one voice, Nigeria must be homogenous, Nigeria must be Northernize! Northernization is not equal to Islamization, Northernization is not equal to Hausa- Fulani. Northernization is for anyone, Any tribes, Everyone who wants to cooperate with the strongest power in Africa, It is a balance between the West (Britain/America) and the Middle East powers(Saudi Arabia/Iran). You can't win against Northernization, Rather than fighting against it fight for your stake and benefit in it. Just like what the Western powers are doing in the Iranian deal, and what Black Americans did in America. There are tired of fighting against it, they rather seek to benefit from it. This guy is a fool. Do you expect southerners enlightened and progressive, educated and liberal to follow the lead of barbaric hausa- fulani? Buhari is only for a season. |

pembisco: I'm northerner and seriously I don't like what buhari is doing to you people down south Buhari is not doing anything to southerners; he's just myopic. We dont need him he needs us. THe north can not survive a southern backlash if and when it comes. Just my two cents |

calebo101: They're both useless fellows. They can beef themselves till they come to their senses and realise they should be exemplary characters for the upcoming ones.
Maybe if Soyinka had maintained his calling he might have grabbed that Oxford poet seat but I'm sure his egocentric character was an attribute to his failed quest.
Obasanjo on his own is an endemic failure with leaking mouth. A man that ruled Nigeria for 8 peaceful years but dragged us backwards. He's a coward who can't own up to any of his actions. Always looking for the easy way out. The same man that presided over the loss of bakassi and was scared stiff of his masters up North he had to authorise Sharia laws in Nigeria. He's a useless man... little wonder in his old age his family has abandoned him . I do not know whether this poster is drunk or insane. Regardless of whatever his mental state may be, I suggest he stick to issues within his competence. Commenting on Nollywood movies perhaps? |

Mikel earns as much as 17 Senators put together The above post is evidence that the indomie generation lacks critical thinking skills. They cant make cogent contributions to civic issues.Mikel Obi is (an overpaid) pro footballer in Europe. What has that got to do with the pillage of Nigeria and the fact that the future is mortgaged by elected rogues? |
