lordmario:The comment na fire !!! |
vedaxcool:You are referring to a Senior advocate of Nigeria as a "foolish lawyer" ? And the only support you can render for your emotional and childish outburst is to posit a strawman argument? Did you read the part where he showed that the NJC has the right and duty to investigate a candidate for the position of CJN ? Given that the next-in-line has been known for a long while, why did the president and his team not make known their reservations to the NJC prior to now? Are you aware of the great powers and influence the CJN wields and how certain forces are uncomfortable with that power being transferred beyond their control? Have you bothered to study the political machinations and motives that are speculated as being behind the presidents (in)action ? Can you read between the lines of this powerful letter to decipher the hidden message buried in the text ? In final consideration, do you think it is your place to comment on issues clearly beyond your present capacity to comprehend ? Do you not think you should read, reflect, listen and be educated before venturing an opinion that is baseless and unfounded and offers no enlightenment for the issue on hand? There is a section for immature expression and people on NL. This is not it |
smogup:CAPITAL "NO" |
ayindejimmy:You just quoted Femi Adesina, a spin-doctor for-hire and your expectation is that we take you seriously ? |
montezz:Cool. Add me on whatsapp. I pm'd my number ![]() |
montezz:Sure. Done |
montezz:are you going to respond to my pm? |
Note the handshake in the first picture. There's more to it than meets the eye. That's all I have to say |
dealslip:Let us stop eulogizing GEJ. "GEJ was a good man, he meant well, ad nauseaum..." Politics is not meant for good men or people that "mean well". It is a sword for he that can wield it. History admits no rules only outcomes. GEJ did not, and does not, have the political sagacity required to achieve the goal of emancipating the South from the North of Nigeria. |
steppin:Please shut up. Jonathan was ruining Nigeria then just like Buhari is now; only in a different way. People that voted for change are better than people that wanted us to continue with PDP |
sarrki:You are a knowledgeable and perspicacious observer of events. |
Rainmaker69:Ignore the brainwashed dullard |
Nigeria wants to export the crooked ways of our political class and the shallow reasoning of its office-holders to the international community. What is the rational for granting Jammeh asylum? Is he a political refugee? The man lost an election and should step down. If he does not, he should be removed by force. Beter people than he have conceded defeat before and it did not lead to the collapse of the heavens. Nigeria should not grant Jammeh a soft landing or aid in this illegality. Cant we stand on principle for once? |
Gten:I find myself in agreement with you. In an earlier time, there was an idea of the non-aligned movement. It would behove the Nigerian government to reapply that concept. De-recognizing Taiwan implicitly sets us on a collision course with the incoming and very hawkish Trump administration on this issue at a time when China and the United States are primed for a confrontation. The art of diplomacy involves deflection, Nigeria should be cautious and not needlessly get involved in international power struggles.... but hey, this is the government of Bubu the dullard right? |
5starmilitant:You sir, are an intelligent observer. The mallam of Aso rock has been outmaneuvered and following his terrible experiences in 2016 has decided on a new strategy; but its sole purpose is to buy time. Believe him to your peril |
Confused comatose government. Recall that the Minister for Trade and Investment Dr Okechukwu Enelamah unsuccessfully tried to prevent Mr Obazee from implementing the law as regards the tenure of heads of religious bodies. Mr Obazee rightfully refused because there was and is no official gazette rescinding the law. ( Note however that it is likely Mr Enelamah is on his own as he may not recognize the plan of his political masters; and if you think the events of the past few days are without orchestration, then you must be from a different planet) On what basis is Mr Obazee now being forced to resign? For upholding the law of the land?Or perhaps the backlash has been intolerable so they are backpedalling. Buhari running Nigeria like a mallam tending cattle. We are waiting for 2019 |
realmindz:You have already insulted him without uttering the words. Now kindly give us your reason(s) for doing so. |
This is a very good post and I commend the OP. I recently got a copy of the speakers book Bad Samaritan and after watching this video I will hasten my reading. I disagree with the title. He does not say Africa is being sabotaged per se; he points out that the prescriptions given to underdeveloped countries are detrimental and this may or may not be malicious. Note that there are valid reasons for these prescriptions which the prof counters with ideas of his own. I find it interesting that he does not prescribe waiting for good governance to emerge before taking action since this may take centuries; Nigerian intellectuals should note. All considered, a great video |
Originalsly:I wont insult you since you evidently lack proper parental upbringing... Ask yourself this: the video was most likely filmed by a white person and has definitely achieved world-wide circulation. How come people are not rushing to emulate his technique? Perhaps they have no reptiles in their countries? If you think that placing a human leg in a hole to attract a reptile is a showcase of intelligence and "ingenuity" then I am sorry but noone can help you. |
All I saw there is a stupid black man with no technology |
EVILFOREST: ![]() |
Rockyrascal:It would appear you have already personally adopted pidgin as your preferred mode of communication |
robertogun:I will note this saying.... havent heard it before |
kenonze:My sister black man way don tire me o! I no fit laff again. In a related vein, Mr Elumelu and his online PR crew should realize that he is too big for this show he has put on of late. We dont need to see pictures of you and your family online whether at the beach or at home or wherever. Continue and soon the respect you have earned over decades will be diminished |
Xer0:Look to history and the psychology of black people for answers to your questions |
The blabbermouth is at it again. Here's the point at which he lost me this time: "... the next senior Igbo man we had was (Gen Azubuike) Ihejirika, as the Chief of Army Staff. He turned out to be a big disaster, as he turned out to be a dangerous tribalist ..." So because he massacred your foot soldiers of boko haram and drove them from the cities into sambisa forest he's a "failure and dangerous tribalist"? Anyway Mr Junaid, whether you like it or not, restructuring is inevitable - not only for the Ibos but for all the groups in Nigeria. All the indices point to it, every interested, rational mind extrapolates the data to that conclusion. It is only a matter of time. |
You are here writing long epistles. Real men know what to do. Make una siddon dey look until fulani finish all of your lineage. Rubbish. |
Benita27:I am as surprised as you are my sister. |
kidman96:Go back to your history books. GEJ has many faults but along with Ihejirika he decimated boko haram and had their political wing the Arewa Progressive Forum and Northern Elders running choking on their nunu and running helter sketer with claims of genocide. |
Na wa o. That is all I have to say about anything Chibok related |
