CareerRe: NNPC Staff: Resume Before 8am Or Stay At Home by redsun(m):
Before nko? A staff that repeatedly turn up late at work should be given the boots after a few warning. People should be paid to do the work effectively and responsibly not for galavanting and looting.

It is time we catch up with the time and make the best of it. Time is money.
CrimeRe: TRAGIC END: Brother Stabs Elder Sibling To Death Over Dirty Dishes by redsun(m): 7:30pm On Aug 16, 2015
At that age they shouldn't be living with mother if Nigeria wasca normal country. It is so chaotic in that land with police running wild like mad dogs.
PoliticsRe: Yoruba's Still Keep Their Deity After Being Born Again But The Igbo's Don't Why? by redsun(m): 9:40pm On Aug 14, 2015
ezeagu:
Historically, Igbo deities are very dispensable, what mattered were the ancestors, the land and the supreme.
The ancestors are smaller gods that connects the living man to the bigger deities,a place he will take when himself moves on. They are the fresh arrivals of the spirit world that supersedes the actions of the living. They don't die.
CultureRe: Noise About Abobaku Online.....the Culture Has Been Abolished Years Ago. by redsun(m): 9:32pm On Aug 14, 2015
This story makes,it was a practice that happened in the past among established African traditional dynasties, but nobody will dare do it now. Though we have ritualists in Nigeria who thinks they can be elevated powerfully by killing their fellow humans for rituals, but most traditional homes like the oni's are way too into the world to be engaged in that kind of despicable act.

It is a wild rumour that spreads whenever any prominent traditional ruler in the south moves on. And it should be something crews like national geographic should investigate, since we don't have archeologists in Nigeria,to know whether it actually happened in past. At the moment it is just a dreadful story that has never been ascertain. The story of us that nwver tells us anything tangible about past, because we never take time to investigate.
PoliticsRe: N59bn Abuja Airport Expressway Becoming A Death Trap (Pics) by redsun(m): 9:05pm On Aug 14, 2015
Managing a road is as complex as managing a country. If it is not methodically and consistently managed,it goes in total ruin

Roads are one of the core heart beats of a nation,it tells everything about how a country fairs and the state of mind of its citizens.
PoliticsRe: Adamawa To Spend N200 Million On Prayer Warriors, Vigilante To Curb Boko Haram by redsun(m): 3:20pm On Aug 14, 2015
Zoomocracy. Those that are suppose to lead are stack blind. All that money spent wisely could go a long way in fundamentally tackling the root cause of bokoharam nemesis. But instead he is going to put in the hands of foools that will add fuel to the already burning flame.
PoliticsRe: Blacks Made 'Inferior' By Their Habits, Not By Creation! by redsun(m): 2:38pm On Aug 14, 2015
worksmart:
OP,
Blacks are not inferior.

If you are black and consider yourself inferior you need to go and see psychologist, because evidently you are suffering a mental illness.
Need to see all the migrants forcing their ways into Europe as voluntary slaves to understand what the poster is all about. Of course we are inferior if we can't manage a relatively functional societies for all. Thing mere ants and bees do efficiently to the point that even organised man himself can hardly survive without those little creatures. We are just inferior to our humans but also to fellow little creatures we like to call animals. It is sad but obvious truth.

PoliticsRe: Barbaric Tradition In 21st Century by redsun(m): 11:20am On Aug 14, 2015
Odikwa serious! I thought this was a folk story, but it looks like it is beginning to make sense. Of course they will be charge for murder if they go ahead with the barbaric act and to make sure they don't do,the police must witness the burial, because in the heat of the moment they just cast the unfortunate guy aside and quietly use another unfortunate victim that nobody will know about.

I am a core traditionalist but these kind of traditions are mistakes if the past and should be left with the dead. It is inhuman, it is barbaric and unthinkable for 21st century human.
PoliticsRe: Caption This Photo Of Rotimi Amaechi And Wife by redsun(m): 11:05am On Aug 14, 2015
A celebrated gangster and his other half. Nigerian politicians are gangsters that feeds of the sweat of the ignorant and suffering populace. They make the rules as they go as long as it suits their looting and pilfering ethics.

She probably lost her mind like Michael to have done that or she was going bankrupt.
CultureRe: Seven-day Curfew Begins After Ooni’s Burial Today by redsun(m): 9:19am On Aug 14, 2015
The problem with some of culture is that they seem to be immune to innovations. Given that he died in oyinbo land,in oyinbo hands would have been enough to alter some of the disruptive cultural practices to suit the trend of time. We tend to be more concerned with what the ancestor thought in their time than what we think in our time.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Primary School Proprietor Charged With Rape Of 2 Pupils. by redsun(m): 9:00am On Aug 14, 2015
I use to think oyinbos are the only paedophiles, but it is turning out to be an issue of recognising and addressing the problem in Nigeria.
BusinessRe: Meet The Nigerian Woman That Built 4 Bedroom Flat From Roasted Corn Business by redsun(m): 8:42am On Aug 14, 2015
okpurukata:
I stand to disprove you my dear. I have a cousin who sells corn at Berger bus stop at Ojodu. She rakes in close to N20k daily during the season. Her proceeds from corn is what pays her children school fees and feeds the family of seven during off season. In PH where I live, I also know women who make more than this. Please be it known to you that so many seemingly low class businesses you might chose to look down on actually makes more money than u think. Most fruit sellers ad noble sellers in PH have built houses. Go confirm
.
Family of seven? If only she had just one or two kids, she would have faired very well.
BusinessRe: Meet The Nigerian Woman That Built 4 Bedroom Flat From Roasted Corn Business by redsun(m): 8:07am On Aug 14, 2015
Every entrepreneur is a winner,no matter how small an enterprise might be,it builds with time and relentless efforts. Corn industry is a multi billion dollars business and any smart cookie can have a slice of it one way or the other, especially in Africa where good is still very much a dire issue.

A good opportunity for asylum for him in oyinbo land grin

His position could be replaced with a life size functional robot from Japan,a female one.

Sometimes unorganised system do come handy. These guys used their judgement to save a situation that could have been worse if they had the culture of waiting for emergency services for all emergencies.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Buhari Reinstates Habibu Abdullahi As NPA MD, Sacks Ado Bayero by redsun(m): 4:24pm On Aug 13, 2015
This muderfucker seem very tribal,he seems to be giving all the key appointments to his fellow mallams and mallamnesses, even though they have always had track records of gross incompetence. The same core reason why Nigeria is a dark nation today,a nation of irrationality.
CelebritiesRe: David Oyelowo To Play James Bond Character by redsun(m): 4:15pm On Aug 13, 2015
It going to be a flop. Bond is typically a blue eyed, blond and six foot plus oyinbo. That is what oyinbos want to see,not a darkie. I don't thin halle berry impressed them too as a bond girl.

Do we always want to be in oyinbos shoes? Always needing their approval to feel good about ourselves.

FamilyRe: Father Sends His US-born Teen Sons To Nigeria To Learn Gratitude by redsun(m): 12:39pm On Aug 13, 2015
It is some kind good reality check for African children born in transit. It helps the grasps of things and see life outside virtual reality, racism, native dreams and uncertainty of not understanding who they are. It gives them something really to think about and look forward to.
CrimeRe: Hoodlums Set 17-year- Old Ablaze, Paste His Obituary (Pictured) by redsun(m): 12:29pm On Aug 13, 2015
There is so much lawlessness in that land, worse than IS controlled territories if you may ask me. It is such a lawless, yet people just carry on sheepishly as if everything is right. The leaders are all thieves and if thieves are leaders, how can there be fair and functional laws that guides the society on its path?
CultureRe: Bristow Helo Crashed Because Govt Doesn't Appease Sea Goddess – Oba by redsun(m): 12:17pm On Aug 13, 2015
Believing in the goddess power to cause havoc is the same as believing in God/Allah power to punish the infidels. Both delusional, superstitious and irration. But as an African,I will rather be traditional than being Christianised or islamised. It is more dignifying to have an original belief, even though it doesn't add up sometimes.
EducationRe: Photo:Toilet In UNIPORT Hostel (graphic Images). by redsun(m): 6:17pm On Aug 12, 2015
One would have thought a higher institution would understand better the dangers of horrors of messing with Shiite. In a rational society, that disgusting filth is enoug to close down the institution. They are not learning,it is a total break down of sanity.
FoodRe: A Boar Snake My Cousin Killed In His Hostel This Morning"graphic Pics" by redsun(m): 4:20pm On Aug 08, 2015
You can do better as an under graduate updating your eating utensils, that rusty bowl could be hazardous to your health. There are things that are expected of an undergraduates that show cases his/her level of intelligence. It is like a bowl a mad person or refugee will eat with.

That kind of snake taste like a cross between chicken and fish, very delicious, and I understand you could kill and eat it because you could be hungry, but not like the American dentist that killed a magnificent lion to satisfy his urge to kill.
PoliticsRe: Warning To Our Igbo Brothers In Asaba, Anioma, Ogwashi Ukwu Nd Others… Beware! by redsun(m): 4:17pm On Aug 08, 2015
podosci:
Economically speaking it would not benefit us to join with the five eastern states to form baifra...apart from being marginalized by the Igbos and the fact that they would be far superior to us in terms of population, we have nothing to gain from the five eastern states.
Its good to remain in Nigeria but if there is to be a succession, Republic of SS states would make more sense than joining the igbos in there biafran state
Language is very unifying. You are better off with the people you speak the same language with than the ones you need translators to deal with. One of the key factors why Africa is still very tribal is because of the language differences.

Language is the soul of a people and when it is interfered with, nothing ever remains the same. It is their windows to the world.

PoliticsRe: SHOCKING: See What This Teacher Did To Her Student; PICTURES! by redsun(m): 3:39pm On Aug 08, 2015
A very violent and irrational society and they expect things to just change miraculously without reasoning. The society is so primitively backward, even with all the exposure to instant information.

They should tame more of those paw paw tree in front of that god forsaken and dilapidated house, it could go a long way in freeing them up from miseries. They could be eating too much abakelike rice without taking time to clean it properly.

Ignorance is a curse.
