Qualcomm has just won a legal battle against Apple at China's Fuzhou Intermediate People’s Court. The court has ordered immediate ban on sales and importation of the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X in China. The court agreed that Apple violated two parents which belongs to Qualcomm. The patents are related to resizing photos and navigating apps on a touchscreen. Apple initially claimed that this are software patents and will only affect iPhones shipped with iOS 11 and not iOS 12, but Qualcomm has clarified that all the listed iPhone models are affected irrespective of the operating system version.
This case is just a part of the dozens of global patent dispute lawsuits that Qualcomm has filled against Apple in many countries like Germany, South Korea and many others.
It's worth noting that aside the iPhone X that has been taken down, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 7 are still live on Apple's Chinese official website.

At the start of 2018, the maximum you could get on a smartphone was a dual rear camera setup. Huawei however broke that trend with its triple rear camera on its P20 Pro and Samsung even took it a step further with the Quad rear camera on the Galaxy A9 (2018). Now, it seems 4 cameras isn't even enough as latest renders and leaks of the upcoming Nokia 9 Pure view shows the phone will come with 5 rear camera setup. The Nokia 9 is expected to come with a 5.9-inch QHD+ display panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio and thankfully no notch. The device will also run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It will be powered by this year's Snapdragon 845 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
For now we still don't know what feature each of the five cameras will consist of, but going by current implementation by other manufacturers, as well as rumours, we expect the setup to include a telephoto lens, a wide-angle lens and a depth-sensing camera, among others. The phone also includes two other rings at the back making it seven in total. One is for the dual tone flash while the other one is for proximity sensor.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd4p69hCgDE Nokia is still going for a similar design as on the Nokia 8 Sirocco which is a glass front and back panel with a metal frame. The phone measures 155 x 75 x 7.9mm and should have some level of dust and water resistance . Just like most other 2018 smartphones, it comes with no headphone jack and there is also no visible fingerprint scanner on the back which indicates that Nokia is going for the in-display fingerprint reader. The phone is rumoured to pack a pretty massive 4150mAh battery with USB type-C port.
There is no information yet on the official pricing and announcement date of this phone but we expect it to be unveiled early next year 2019 and it might also turn out to be the most expensive from HMD and this will most likely be their first flagship smartphone.
