Facebook launched the Facebook lite app for Android users back in 2015. The Facebook lite is the lighter version of the Facebook app for Android and it was designed mainly for low end smartphones. It consumes less space, less RAM, it's faster and also smoother than the regular Instagram App.
Even with it's small size, the Instagram Lite app still includes some of the features you will find on the regular app such as Stories, Explore tab and more. The company is also planning to add messages and share videos soon.

Xiaomi has just added another new budget smartphone to its Redmi series and it's called the Redmi 6 pro. The device sports a 5.5-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. This is also the first smartphone in the Xiaomi Redmi line to feature an iPhone X like display notch.

Samsung is in the news again for yet another smartphone explosion. According to a recent report, a woman from Detroit had her car covered completely in flames when one of her two phones sparked and ignited the car. The two phones in question here are the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S8 but the woman is not sure which one of them actually started the inferno. Although she was able to get out of the car safely, she was unable to stop the flame which completely destroyed the car.
The Detroit fire department also confirmed the story and even though they haven't confirmed which of the two phones started the flame, more emphasis is being placed on the Galaxy S4 as it's the older phone here and also because they have been multiple cases in the past.

Report has it that Instagram is currently working on a new upgrade that will extend the current video upload length from 60 seconds (1 minute) to 60 minutes (1 hour). Instagram made the first upgrade in 2016 when the Facebook owned company extended video length from 15 secs to 60 secs, now another upgrade might just be on the waly.
Aside extending the video length, the company is also reportedly focusing on portrait videos (Vertical videos with more height than width). Instagram has also met with providers and content publishers interested in producing such lengthy videos.
The testing of this new feature is said to have commenced with a couple of content creators and publishers. Nothing has been finalized yet and Instagram is also yet to release an official statement on this new development, so changes may be made before the feature is made available to all users.
