The journey that started last year May has finally come to an end. We finally landed in Canada yesterday. Glory to God as we are now officially Permanent Residents of Canada. Nothing much was asked except if we have new family members and if we have any criminal record. Even POF was not asked.

Want to wish everyone with their applications still in process all the best. For those that are still awaiting ITA and PNP, God will perfect it and finally for those who are contemplating on starting this Canadian PR journey, please start as soon as you can, you have got nothing much to lose.

I will still be on the forum to answer any questions you may have but I won't be able to answer any job related questions as we are only doing short landing. We will be travelling back home in the next few weeks as we are not planning to move to Canada permanently until the next 2 years.

Big congratulation to you. This is an inspiration to the rest of us, please linger around to give out some advice and share some of your experience.

I’m 32, Architect with 6-7 years experience (last 3years with my own company), I have both HND (upper class) and OND. I have done and passed two professional exams (Nigerian Institute Of Architects, Part I & II) and preparing to do the final one (Professional Practice) which makes me chartered next march.

Wife is 29 later this year, has 4-5 years experience, also both HND and OND in Architecture (but she’s been working in HR for the last few years).

Have 2 kids (1 biological and the other dependent).

Please can someone rate our chances, and what are the step by step processes involved in applying for the Canada PR via the EE program.

We’ve been considering engaging services of an agent to help out, but as i read earlier on this thread that it would be unnecessary, that there are people here can guide one through.

Please I need your advices and guide.

Please kindly advice where to start from, we haven't done the IELTS and the ECA. Do I need to fill the EE form? Or we need to take the exams and ECA first or what are the steps?

I use quite a few for different purposes. Google SketchUp, AutoCad & Revit Architecture for conceptual developments, presentation drawings and detailed drawings. 3ds max (with Vray), Lumion (sometimes), for rendering and also Adobe photoshop, Corel draw for some more detailed presentation works.
