Chioma3000001: Hey guys, I’m new to this thread, please I got admission to Assiniboine Community College and they are asking me to pay 800 dollars in order to get my unconditional acceptance letter but then I’m worried that 800 dollars can’t sponsor a student visa..my first year tuition is up to 15k dollars..should I go ahead and pay the 800 dollars they are asking for or should I pay higher than that for the sake of my visa application.
Please I need help on this Pay higher, so that you can add the receipt with ur application it will give u higher chances |

Good evening I ve been requested to summit my ielts for nse, the problem i am having is that i ve 5.5 in one of the modules reading precisely, i want to ask if it will reduce my chances if i upload it or i should just skip it and follow the normal route? |

Thaiy: I think you just got played by your agent, there is no need for any lawyer arguing your 5.0 in any band, he just swindled you of $100. Here on this platform there are people whose applications were processed via Nigeria Student Express (NSE) who got PPR with 5.0 in ielts, be as it may, you can still have your application processed via the normal route by ircc.
Get your money back, if you can. All information to help your are on this platform if you want to help yourself.
All the best getting your money. I ve ielts of 6.0 buh only 5.0 in reading, should i upload it. Cause i was thinking it might be the reason of refusing my visa so i did not want to upload it. |

sleekcheek: Second Application Timeline (Long Post Alert!!!) Application submitted - Nov 5th NSE request - Dec 8th NSE documents review - Dec 29th Upfront medicals passed - Dec 30th Main eligibilty review - Jan 12th First gcms notes received – Feb 11th (Eligibility: blank) Second gcms notes received – Mar 18th (Eligibility: recommend interview) PPR – Mar 26th
Documents Submitted All IMM forms LOE (drafted it myself then had a friend of mine who is a lawyer review it, I combined both my SOP and LOE addressing the reasons for my previous refusal) Employment letter/Confirmation letter/Promotion letter Payslips Introduction letter from employer Reference Letter from my direct boss (which I used during my school admission) Letter of support from my Dad (Saying he transferred the sum of 4million to me for my living expense, I did not include any gift deed/affidavit of support just the letter which he signed) Dad’s NIN slip Declaration of Age/Birth Cert for myself and my siblings Police clearance certificate Bank Statement (no too much money, showed my full tuition plus a little above 10000 cad) Pension account statement Bsc Certificate HR Professional Certification Resume WAEC Certificate NYSC Certificate Undergraduate Transcript Proficiency in English Language Family Pictures Affidavit for Loss of Death Certificate (my mum is late, used it as a family tie saying me and my siblings need each other for moral support hence I will return home after my studies) Certificate of Occupancy of my family house IELTS result (NSE request) Printed copy of my bank statement/Reference letter from my Bank (My Bank was not on MyBankStatement platform)
Reasons for First Refusal & How I Tackled It Purpose of visit- My first degree was in Geography & Environmental Management, I applied to Memorial for masters in Employment Relations. As at the time when I first applied in May 2020, I was yet to get my results for my HR professional exams, but I mentioned it in my SOP. Also, I was still working as an executive assistant in my current organization although I was supporting HR department but have not officially moved to HR. During my second application, I added my CIPM certificates, also included an introduction letter from my company which stated that I was now in HR department. My reference letter from my previous boss also highlighted how I have a natural flair for HR and how he recommended my move to HR. Personal assets & financial status- During my first application, I used both my mutual funds and my bank statement. In my second application, I liquidated my mutual funds and made sure I explained every lump sum with adequate proof. Also added a letter of support from my Dad to increase my POF. Ties to home country- I used my family as my ties, talked a lot about how close we are and how we support each other. I also used my pension statement and my new role in HR as my tie and talked about how I will like to come back to Nigeria and change a lot of things in my organization and in the country when it comes to employee development and retention.
Hope this helps
Hello, please i will be delighted if you can help me for ur sop in hrm. Adeogunrelan@yahoo.com is my mail. Thanks |

I have very limited time to submit my online visa application but all the ATM cards to do the payment are being declined. One of the cards (GTbank) said the reason for the declining is that $235CAD exceeds the limit of $100 web-based transaction daily limit.
@Everyone: Please, help me with suggestions on how to make this online visa application payment.
Thanks, Please, how did you go about it. I am also facing this problem. |

Jashub: Not all are criminals. And besides, what has politics got to do with this crime? yes there is a relationship between the crime and politics 1. Most of this guns used by this robbers are been supplied by the politicians during election. They give thug guns to disrupt election with no avenue of collecting the gun back. 2. In a country in which unemployment is the order of the day, crime rate will be high, and one of the reasons of unemployment is embezzlement of public fund. Money to be used to create jobs for the people have been embezzled by the so called politicians. 3. Lack of education, if the government is able to build and fund public schools and most of the people are educated crime rate will reduce, buh instead of our politicians to build schools for the populace our politicians refuse. LadyBlaq: Hello House! Please just to be sure, how long does it take for the international team of Centennial College to reply a mail? I applied to Centennial College without an application fee(I was surprised). After getting my PIN, I got a mail to send some scanned documents which I did. I haven't gotten any acknowledgement from them since then.
Would I get to pay the application fee later?
Even though it has only been 3 working days, I thought an acknowledgement of documents received should have been sent by now, is it the norm?
Does anyone know? just be patient you will get it, i also applied, but i ve pass ur stage. You can mail me on adeogunrelan@yahoo.com for further explanation. |

Lekiboboe: No it's not too early,
Your Uncle don't need to go to the court to swear an Affidavit of Sponsorship. Only you can do the package.
Just go to Notary Public with ur Sponsor's Passport Photograph & Your Own Passport Photograph.

Dwebb55: Unfortunately that isn't how it works. The reason why IT and STEM courses are 'hotcake' is because it isn't really fancied by a majority of their people. They mostly do business courses and that makes picking you over their own people a much harder task.
That is why they have a critical skills list which highlights those professions that they have a shortfall in. If your profession is on that list, there is a high likely hood that getting employment after studies will be much easier. It is a lot harder if it isn't on the list.
Another thing is many of them have diplomas or certificates and can work with that and there are a lot of them doing that to work. Your chances against an omonile in your field is small oh! ok, as someone that studied political science as bsc, what other course can he move to that will be of favour after graduation. |

Dwebb55: Have you checked if the course is on the critical skills list? Not that you can't study it but you have a greater chance of getting a job after studies if your employment is on the list Don't really get what you mean, buh i will be given two years to get a job, and after that i will request for stamp 4 visa for permanent resident. Business management is however needed in every country, after tech i guess is business. With my experience here in Nigeria i guess it will give me a upper hand in job searching, moreover it will be easy for me to also seach for job in canada or uk. |
