Please which SW are you talking about? Talk for yourself. This is how you guys won election on NL for Fayemi only for him to get 16-0.

In the coming election, hope APC will accept defeat because they have forgotten less than half of Nigeria sees and feeds on Social Media?

For me, I am voting GEJ for two major reasons;

1: Stabilization of the Nationalized banks and subsequent sales of those banks successfully
2: Nigeria's Non Oil has grown to over 30 percent with potential to grow with Agricultural Sector, Data (Internet) , Power reforms and more.

Is it the fact that projects started and completed this term or the existing projects been completed despite the threats that the dogs and Baboon will When I say Buhari supporters on NL are delusional, it appears as if I am being tacky, but its the truth just as you have said it -

the whole SW is not APC/Buhari as they always claim... yet they will keep repeating this lie over and over again, as if they want to convince themselves and believe that it is.... yet the facts on ground wil be shown come Feb. 14; and we know what their cries will be.

My brother, isnt it shameful?

Whenever some posters here accuse someone of lieing... you know right away its either they are confused i.e. don't understand what was discussed, or they want to cover their own lies...

see how Ndu_chuks came and rejoiced that a lie has been exposed...

Bacanikwa came and congratulated the OP....
(he logs in as...)
Orlando Ole came and wanted Datolee to come so he can be shamed...
(even the one that should be reading to comprehend instead of posting)
Berom came and accused people of lies and even tried to answer a question herself....

but just like an ogbunigwe...

just like that wind that blows to bare the dirty smelly behind of the fowl...

Datolee came and ask them one question, a simple question....

Obii dodged...

Bacanikwa lied (as usual with a lieing, unofficial link)

Ndu_chuks was mute...

and the truth was laid bare, clear for Nigerians to see... those neutral posters that read and usually don/t comment, those Nigerians that want the truth and not lies and deception... they are the ones that threads like this benefit.

So Obii, I look forward to your next "truth" ... in which you will accuse others of lieing...
and your oilyass will be handed to you once again.

There was a particular doofus, I think it was omenka or something similar that was running around NL yapping "Arrest Ihejirika now, arrest Ihejirika" ... he wanted the arrest of a man without any investigations carried out, whom we now see would have been an innocent, not to mention the man that was landing heavy losses on BH... yet the fool wants a prosperous Nigeria, or so he claims... who knows, he might even be one of these riffraffs arrested. kudos to the DSS.

its this type of their analysis that makes them say Buhari does not need SE votes.... and so he didn't campaign there.... and GEJ who did got a resounding support not just in the SE but across the geopolitical zones...

so now they are , as you've noticed, doing the same type of analysis ... trying to discount the vote of Igbos to have hope for their candidate... that's why with each conclusion they draw about Buhari winning and GEJ losing... it makes me already excited because it will make the end result so much sweeter.

I am not sure what you think I requested you to do; - that you deem a fruitless exercise if you tried.

I did not tell you to convince me that APC is good; or to show me what its got - but let me add thatI agree there are a few good men in APC as well as a few good men in PDP.

Let me state it again, if you don't mind, and feel free to just ignore if you are not interested:

but what I want you to do is to admit that Tinubu has (from the get go) his frog eyes (not a bad thing, just comic relief lol) on the #1 and/or #2 political hierarchy of the country. Therefore,

when he talks about change, the country being more divided than ever before (whatever that means),he. is. not. saying. it. because. he. cares. Rather he is saying it as a ruse, a decoy if you may, just wants to pull GEJ down and painting GEJ black is all he;s got.

well, its not "all he's got" per se, because he will put a Yoruba as the running mate of Buhari; and then he'll push "play"

(hoping that by commission or omission, his scheme would unfold exactly as he intended).

If Buhari wins, Tinubu wins...

so you can not tell me to forget about tinubu, because APC is all about Tinubu.

Do you, Jarus, accept this? That tinubu and by extension APC wants power more than it wants change for Nigerians? or as someone said earlier, for "the masses"?

If nothing else, has Tinubu's insistence of a Yoruba on the ticket not proven this assertion? We can even say this has not been confirmed, but I've said earlier, that I can bet anything that Tinubu will not sleep at night if a Yoruba is not on the ticket.

Yes? You can do it, embracing the truth and facts that stare you in the face, can be very liberating lol

Jarus:
With due respect, your comment, even if tries to be objective in the beginning, does not present you as someone that will acknowledge any good in APC, no matter how much one explains. So I will not bother to engage in fruitless exercise.

But just a single point: forget Tinubu, the fact that a good number of widely acknowledged performing public officers in Nigeria are APC is enough for me to rate APC over PDP. That's quality personnel sourcing.

I want to focus on transportation, when you say Èonly a feew people benefittingÈ ... you seem to be saying that if only 2 or 3 lives are saved from the government fixing a road such as the Benin-ore express way, it is not significant. I disagree with you, sir.

I am the one supposed to be asking you then, what percentage needs to be benefitting before they can be calld the benefitting masses. I say between 1% and 100% and in plain integral numbers, x>=1. What do you think?

In trying to expatiate on what you meant by masses, it seemed you were also saying that you were referring to their supporters, NL praise singers, supporters of APC etc, for example, is that the people you say will be losers at the end?
(I might not disagree with that)

The rest of the things you said were neither here nor there; seems like you were just venting, because I do agree that the federal and state, as well as LGA workers needs to put hands on deck to make the country work.... not only the federal government.

I don't know what's up with APC, but I just wanted to let you know, that the PDP today under GEJ is not the same PDP that gave it the bad names that were caused from Obasanjo and Yar'adua's administration.

I wanted to let you know, that more people, more of the masses are being positively impacted in their livelihood, more under this administration led by GEJ than others before him.

So again, I wanted to let you know that the masses are not losing.

PDP may have been bad in the past, but GEJ, the man that had no shoes, came and began moving this country.
(Note: we aren't there yet, I aint saying that; yes there's area he needs to tackle, we should lobby for that not attacking the humble man.... )

byrron:
U should first understand that a handful of people benefiting from government programs or schemes does not constitute the term "Masses".

Having written all that long epistle, can u honestly tell me the percentage of the populace enjoying/benefited from all u enumerated above?

What's ur understanding of the term "mases"?

If the majority of a countries citizen's ain't feeling a positive impact from whatever transformation or policies their government has embarked upon then such government is a government for a few.

When I say the masses are the losers irrespective of which political party wins the presidential election, u should have figured out that my primary focus wasn't on the aspirants e.g gej rather my focus Is on the political parties and the characters that make up these parties so while u campaign for gej which u are entitled to but i detest the two criminal gangs tagged pdp & apc and all those in it.

Don't these political parties have states they control? How are the masses in those states faring?

What are the governors of these states doing or is it the responsibility of the FG to develop these states too?

You shouldn't limit my assertions about the failures of pdp and apc to the perfomance of GEJ alone rather show me how the pdp & apc government has improved the lives of the majority of the people in various states they control.

Government isn't about reaching out to a few people rather its about the greater good of the majority of its people.

What u even wrote as an accomplishment is so infinitesimal when u compare it with the amount of resources at the disposal of the man whom u are holding this brief for and same applies to all the governors of all the 36 states of the Nigerian federation.

The FG has recorded some achievements In some areas and there Is no doubt about that but that does not imply that the majority of Nigerians are benefiting from whatever polices the pdp lead FG is making.

I repeat again that pdp & apc are the same poo while the masses are the losers.

Masses does not mean a few beneficiaries of a scheme ok!

Irrespective of the political party, they have all failed and the masses are the losers.

BIAFRA, a house divided against itself
And next time please obey rule #21
I am guessing you are Yoruba because you do not seem to understand the word "trust" and the context in which it was used in the comment you were quick to respond to. This might be an effort in futility, but lemme try, after all, you made an effort to pass a point across (though failing woefully, but you try shaa):...

So by "trust", used in this scenario with APC, the point is that: they are saying one thing, but doing another thing (as this VP appointee has shown us all).

So they scream "Change! Change!!"; but yet they arrange a situation that instead of bringing change, is just bringing some power-hungry, frog-eyed politician and his people to power.
Now that is sneaky and you can not trust such people.

That is completely different from "a house divided amongst itself" as you put it... which has nothing to do with trust... its just that we all have different opinions about whom to support and elect.

However, to an Igbo man, their word is their bond; if they tell you THIS, they mean THIS, and definitely not THAT.

Making sense to you yet? If we say we don't know whom to support, it means just that! we have different opinions and some will vote Ojukwu, and others will vote themselves or whomever... ... they wont lie about it too.

But saying, for example, "We want water! we want water!!" but you begin scheming to get oily soup... that is when we are like.. "Hey, what's up with that?" and the question of trust is brought to the fore again....
You don't care about change (for betterment of the country), all you want is to get to power... but we know your game, it aint gonn' fly. Sorry.

How are the masses the losers if GEJ continues? The comatose railways abandoned for years are now transporting the masses across the country... I guess those aren't the masses you are referring to? the brand new schools built in the north, are the attendants part of the masses you are referring to? Those farmers that received federal grants that they never received under prevous governments as it was either looted or restricted to a special class of of people, perhaps that special benefactors of our collective wealth are the masses you are referring to? I also wonder if the youths now running businesses after the support from YWIn are not masses? How many accidents have been recorded on the Benin/Ore federal road that killed McLoph and many other Nigerians, the people that enjoy a safer travel maybe aren't masses?

My brother, when people say GEJ has not accomplished anything, check very well, that personwill have previous posts that tell outright lies and try to pass em off as truths; (and they're usually, mostly, from the same part of the country).

humilitypays:
When I see Nigerians giving APC mass support in the hope that they have come to rescue Nigeria from corruption, I laugh.

General Buhari you knew in 1983 is not the same Buhari you know in 2014.

1. Buhari was a military head of state in 1983 and had absolute power to dictate things and fight corruption as he wants with the help of Idiagbon his ADC.

Now, Buhari is coming as a democatically elected president (if at all he wins), which means before he can act or fight or prosecute any corrupt politician (past and present), he must get senate and reps approval and then they must pass through judiciary to finalise the prosecution, and of course this take ages to end...which means, no hope for immediate fight against corruption as all Nigerians anticipate if Buhari wins.

2. 80% of past thieves and corrupt politicians in Nigeria have all decamped to APC just because Goodluck is not dancing to their evil beats...and now they have all become saints.

OBJ, Tinubu, Atiku, Rochas, Amaechi, just name them are now APC chieftains and supporters just to ensure Goodluck fails, and now how do u Nigerians expect Buhari to act if he wins when he is being surrounded corrupt politicians now wearing a new party uniform- APChuh

3. If Buhari wins next year, he will act based on his party road map...and of course APC is a gathering of thieves just like PDP, so what's the difference and the noise of change all abouthuh

OBJ the most corrupt man in Nigeria is now acting like a saint and Nigerians are listening to him instead of stoning him to death, sighs

Nigerians take it or leave it, all these Goodluck must go cry and campaign is a tribalistic/religious war!

Buhari will fail Nigerians more than Goodluck failed Nigerians if he wins, but where it hurts me is that Nigerians won't cry and condemn him as much as they condemned Goodluck now just because Buhari is from a majority tribe and a religious background that believe in mob system and backup their religious brethren no matter how bad he/she is.

Meanwhile, if Buhari wins come 2015, he will not do anything to end Boko Haram, rather Boko Haram will happily drop their arms because their own person has finally climbed the thrown, and then, MEND will rise up again!

There's trouble ahead, Nigerians be careful and pray.

We Nigerians would have just be calm and allowed Goodluck to do his best and let all see that he failed on his own and then next year all Nigerians vote their choice again...but not the radical, tribalistic and religious way we are doing it, we want to cause more trouble for Nigeria.

Hello, Jarus; how are you today?

I want to pose this to you, and I know your reputation from NL very well (I am a people-reader and ccan read them from the slightest of things they say, do, think or don't do, don't say or don't think an anyways... )

I want you to be honest with me and to yourself:

Firstly, APC doesn't care about Nigerians.
(not any more or less than PDP does anyways)
They don't care that GEJ and his cabinet are corrupt etc....

They just wat to get into power; and once they get in, nothing can or will keep them from doing same (as GEJ's people) while covering their tracks.

(In Igbo we'll say they'd rub shizz on our faces after getting elected).

Proof of this is what has transpired in APC up until now and what I have already posted: if they, APC, believed in and really wanted change, out of their professed love for the masses and the country, come on ... searching for and presenting Buhari is really laughable... I mean Fashola beats Buhari hands down. especially if you compare their baggage (negatives) as well.

When people say you need someone that can pull the numbers and Buhari can bring 12 million votes... then we see clearly, though some have chosen not to see it that way, that it is all about politics - they want someone that will win the power tussle, more than they need someone that can bring change and development.
Secondly, Tinubu and the Yoruba politicians' quest:

APC gave power to a northerner because they want power to come to the SW right afterwards. And that is why we are on this thread, Tinubu is as thirsty as Buhari is for the oil flowing from Aso Rock, and he is willing to wait and push for Buhari to go first (his appointee as 2inC), before setting his puppet there, and who knows what he will do next.

Be honest with me, no sentiments, see what has happened in APC up to this point, and tell me whether I am right or right.

Ejo, Sa. (is that 'thank you in your language? lol)

Cheers.

Jarus:
This is not a good choice abeg.

At least 2 things are wrong here

1, No SS or SE on the ticket. These 2 regions are known for solidarity (our son) votes. SW don't need their son on ticket to vote for anyone. Plus, at this point in time, SE and SS see APC as Yoruba/Hausa party. They have provided more reinforcement to this.

2, APC need someone with already established visibility. Osinbajo doesn't satisfy this.

Amaechi or Oshiomole or even Rochas would have been better choice.

APC aint about change; The Scheme (orchestrated by Tinubu):
- Return power back to the North in 2015
- A SWner (Yoruba) will be the 2-in-C and will take over after the North...

That is the political-gospel truth of what is unravelling... but thank god the wise ones with their eyes shined see through it and are united, unabashedly on GEJ till 2019!to rule....

Whoa! Wow!! This is powerful!!!

"Can we stop building our future on personalities, rather than on institutions and ideaologies?"

This is very touching, I was moved by that; thank you so much for that. I don't know anyone that can argue with that, except Buhari supporters. Supporters whom don't believe in themselves, whom have chosen to tow the line of tribalism in politics and whose leaders are desperate for power and is feeding lies to gullible, so-called sophisticated Nigerians.

Lord have mercy; and OP thanks again. Its

i assume you know how old i am to call me aburo but then let me state here clearly for the very fact that buhari is rolling with known thieves says a lot of his disposition; he should have doggedly stuck to his CPC and then i know he isnt desperate

did you think that his sponsors wont to get their campaign money back if he should assume leadership; do you think they wont impose their cronies to conduit funds to them? he has already given the VP slot to Tinubu to fill, is this not indeed a sign of what is yet to come?

Corruption is in APC just as it is in PDP; GEJ is doing his best despite the huge insurgency distractions which are possibly sponsored by those who feel Aso rock is their right right because they are more numerous in population

you guys dont know how malicious this politicians are, you just swallow all their speeches that is why they keep on looking down on you all.

All these Buharists have a deep seated fear of walking that long road to freedom, they are looking for quick fixes and Messiah. The Young people you listed looted true, just as the old who should no better are looting.............yet not all of the young looted, Governor Duke was cleared by EFCC for instance but Duke was not just a 'clean' man who did not touch his people money but he brought creative thinking to his state.......thats what am talking about.......

GEJ could be misappropriating but he is far better than the APC men whose ultimate aim is to get into power by all means and you cant see the deceit because you refused to think out of the box....so if Buhari dies today does it mean Nigeria is doomedhuh?? can we stop building our future on personalities rather than on institutions and ideologies?

Please, don't rest your case yet, because this is done all the time - accusing, alledging, and yes, insinuating lies just to tarnish someone.

Please let me know what you refer to as "that issue" ... know that half truths are no truths at all... yes, she did go to the Senate to answer questions, but is it that you don't know what the findings were from the senate hearing?

Let's clarify this, I hope you are willing to, because it could be a lesson to learn, either for you or myself (of not to insinuate or accuse as the case - between you and I on this topic - is)

Insinuations u say! But she had to face senate on that issue? R u joking? So the issue of nms cars were insinuations! I rest my case

You see, I didn't read the thread to the end before posting my earlier comment about support for GMB by antagonizing GEJ. I guess you now see what I mean, trying to open their eyes that we need change that is NOT Buhari leaves them in limbo because they cant not say why or what Buhari has done, and back it up, to bring him back from the 80s to rule again.

Buhari has done nothing that any reasonable youth of today's Nigeria should vote for him; but since our country has been messed up for so many years, put up an armed robber for president, you will see youths that will say he should be voted for --- and they will (try to) make an argument for him. Sad sad sad.

By the way did you see that thread that took on all the points, lies, about Buhari's accomplishments and just deconstructed them piece by piece? How posters even go so far to post outright lies just to deceive others is baffling.

Nigerian youth just love playing second fiddle from the stands as spectators when they can be the actors, but we are just too terrified at the idea,,,,,,,,,,we forever deem ourselves too irrelevant especially when our future is concerned

There is clearly an aristocracy is our polity and now we want to compound it with Gerontocracy...........crazy

i woild not hold brief fro GEJ regarding the loss of lives in the imigration exercise nor will i say his response was adequare; if you pay attention to my opening post you will see that i was just pointing out that buhari is far from flawless and his new found allies are just the same stuff as the PDP

i insisted that we dont want old people leading us anymore as if we the youths don't matter........they can advise and guide but lets us take the driver's seat afterall its our future that is at stake not theirs anymore

Why do you talk about being real and objective when you in the same post talk about rumors and conjectures, more like fallacies... so insinuate a BMW that was bought as an official vehicle was stolen by the minister of aviation... you want someone to be real but you are not being real yourself... is that fair? or does that make sense?

U tink there is a saint smwia ! This is not about saint. It's abou pdp and Jonathan v had Enuf time bt they v bn useless so far. Or relieving her of her duties is all about that? Ur vote is ur right. I advice u to shun tribalism and tnk well about giving ur votes to criminals.
