Has any one else noticed how a brazen bomb attack happens each time Jonathan is having a rally? Seeing the reaction to the kidnapped school girls, what happened the day Jonathan declared in Abuja? - kids were bombed in their primary school (or was it a secondary school? same crime anyways) He is at UI in the SW, maybe because the school bombing didn't roll as many heads as they wanted, they've upped the attack and taken it to (the) mosques. Jonathan is working and people are bombing themselves and other Nigerians. Whether he has done well or not, is bombing the way to go? Who is afraid of the ballots? election nko? We are watching. C'est tout. I can't read this thread's comments because I am sure blame will be cast on the president, for failing to keep the man in Kano from blowing himself up or planting an IED. QAPHAYNE: I shudder to think how many world- changers we have lost since this BH was conceived. Inside those bomb torn structures might lie our own mandela, gandhi, luther or lincoln, but we will never know, because the dead are........dead. |

Bro, what will you call the (3-D) building in the video, then? And I hope you know there are different types of malls? strip mall being one of 'em. IGBOSON1: ^^^Thanks Osment!
I posted this same clip sometime last year....together with ones planned for Owerri and Enugu! I thought of these same 3-D videos when i saw this thread, but when i read 'Mall' i said to myself it couldn't possibly be any of these since they're not technically malls as we know them to be!
This is nice, but it's not a mall!
Anything short of a big name like Julius Berger being contracted to build it, and we'll end up with another substandard T.A Orji project! |

so is the video posted a true and correct representation of the mega mall? (upon completion, that is). any chance you can supply us with detailed pics? (if you have the connection you have told us that you have). konjakonja: @ IGBOSON1 Bros, this is not a T A Orji project. I personally visited the site 2 months ago when I went to Aba and can attest that work is going on there day and night. The Procurement and inspection officer happens to be a very close family friend of mine. He is from Abiriba but I don't want to mention his name here. tempest01: at least they had a search warrant At times you notice something about someone, maybe by the comment(s) they make or their look etc, but something jumps out that's remarkable, and maybe draws you or attracts you to such a person.
Its just one sentence, but this post of yours spoke volumes to me - not just about you, the poster, but also the truth about Nigeria, perhaps this administration and the rule of law. . something as simple as a search warrant (and even arrest warrants) are not things some police even know about, yet they arrest and search places withoutrecourse to the law
I heard a radio presenter this morning, protesting the release of the Abuja market bombing, that it wasn't right etc... whereas this is what happens in developed countries they like to cite to us as examples of development. If an arrest or proper legal proceedings are not followed in the prosecution of someone who obviously committed a crime, they person (with good lawyers that know their onions) can walk.
So while others like to see Nigerias cup as half-empty, and keep going on and on and on about problems today that have not changed, like GEJ is a magician that would inherit a(n) mature/adult man and make him change his ways completely over-night; you were able to see something that eludes a lot of people, that procedure is being followed in the courts, now I don't know if you agree as well but elections have been conducted and different parties have won these state elections, from APGA in anambra, to PDP in Ekiti & I hope that time will make all to see this and continue supporting this administration instead of bombing civilians and blowing themselves up for -heaven-knows-what.
Bless you, Poster!

Ordinary matches at Enyimba Stadium attracts bigger crowd than this; much more a Federation cup final.
They should have chosen a more central location (Uyo, Calabar, Owerri) than going down to Lagos.

would an Igbo in his government make any difference? When Igbos were #3 in Obj's administration, is there a single thing all Igbos can say benefitted the masses? Didn't the position rotate through all Igbo states? My point is: let's stop seeking a fellow Igbo being elected as anything good, if the ones in office at state and dother federal levels are not making any difference. Let us demand for the dividends of democracy from any body or administration in power, Igbo or not. "Igbo people" should be replaced with "Igbo politicians" ... because "Igbo people" being in top positions of the government does not necessarily mean Igbos are wwell off... At State level... in all SE states, do Igbos, both "politicians" and "people" not in power? what are they doing? A re-orientation of the mind and perspective of the Nigerian populous is imminent. solid3: According to Okorocha, Imo State Governor:
“Jonathan is not from the South-East, the Vice President is not from here, the Senate President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, and the security chiefs, none of them is from the South-East. Igbo people have no place in Nigeria. How can we say that PDP belongs to Ndigbo?
“Niger Bridge is 419, Enugu/Onitsha and Port-Hacourt Express way are all evidences of their hatred for Ndigbo; they don’t remember the poor, all our leaders in PDP are only interested in their pockets, they don’t care about our children’s education". |

Skipping all the grammer, what you simply meant by: "For someone to have so immorally and unconsciously praised this obscenely corrupt and callously irresponsive and irresponsible administration of GEJ in this shameless manner only last month," was: For Femi to have praised this administration only last month; and: "... and still believes he can advise the APC on who is their best candidate to defeat the 'purposeful' government of GEJ in the 2015 election," is: and believes he can advice the APC on who is the best candidate to defeat this GEJ administration in the 2015 election; is simply delusional and narcissistic! Really? so praising an administration and giving an opinion on, according to you, who is the best candidate to defeat that administration (I don't believe that was his point, but anyways) is... delusional (uhh, okay, maybe), but, narcissistic? and bringing back some of your grammer, you said it was immoral?? I was about to challenge you to see the grea strides of this administration, but if you really someone giving his opinion is narcissistic and immoral, shameless included, then even if I hold up a plus sign in your face in bright, you will only see the horizontal line. So remarkablhy, I leave you in peace and wish you goodluck till 2019! LogicPower: You have described this Femi Aribisala so aptly!
All his articles in the past one year have been almost invariably an attack on Tinubu, or a fallacious and unsound analysis on why the APC stands no chance against the PDP, or a shamelessly desperate psychological attempt to put a wedge in the budding political alliance between the SW and the North, the prospects of which threaten JEG and his cohorts more than anything else.
Any discerning observer of Femi Aribisala's recent writings can easily see through his pathetic boot-licking of the GEJ government, sometime even stooping to very lowly and shameless bigotry. A few examples:
1. "The Northern politicians clamouring for power after being starved of it for 16 years are not dying to do any favours for the South-West, given the eight years of Obasanjo’s presidency. They are dying to do favours for themselves. Once a Northern president is firmly installed in Aso Rock, they are going to stop returning Tinubu’s phone-calls." Femi Aribisala http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/bola-tinubu-want/
Can Femi dare tell the people of the SW what favours the South-South presidency of GEJ has been doing for the SW region and its people in the past 5 years? And how has GEJ been treating phone calls, and even letters, from OBJ, his SWestern political godfather, and that of Tinubu, who was also so instrumental in his victory? Can Femi tell us why OBJ felt it necessary to write his lengthy open letter to the non-Northern president in relation to the interests of the SW region?
2. " - The APC adventure marks the end of the road politically for Tinubu. It is downhill all the way for him from now on. The very things that made Tinubu successful in the South-West are bound to shipwreck him in the APC." Femi Aribisala http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/bola-tinubu-want/
Clearly, this betrays Femi as one of those who are so much pained about Tinubu's political status in today's Nigeria, hence he is so openly wishful of seeing 'the end of the road' for him politically and 'downhill all the way for him from now on'. Imagine this coming from someone who wants to be seen as a 'man of God'!
3. "Nigerians should not allow themselves to be deceived. There is no doubt that on the basis of merit alone, Goodluck Jonathan deserves another term in office. Few governments of Nigeria have been as purposeful as that of Goodluck Jonathan" Femi Aribisala http://newswirengr.com/2014/10/14/femi-aribisala-what-exactly-is-clueless-about-goodluck-jonathan-2/#
For someone to have so immorally and unconsciously praised this obscenely corrupt and callously irresponsive and irresponsible administration of GEJ in this shameless manner only last month, and still believes he can advise the APC on who is their best candidate to defeat the 'purposeful' government of GEJ in the 2015 election, is simply delusional and narcissistic! |

Adminisher: If you wanted the presidency you would be fighting for it now. Ibos like Arthur Nzeribe inspired the June 12 annuoment. YEA's Kanu suppoeted Abacha's regime elongation. Chukwumerije did his own as well. Ibos have invested nothing into our democracy, not blood, not jail term, not exile so they deserve nothing. In any case, GEJ has used up SE quota and it is a shame. The only sensible Ibo man is Rochas, the others are the typical empty, soul less automatons we see at Alaba who would sell their.xxxxxxx for yyyyy naira without missing a bit and no pangs of conscience. In Nigeria now, we have 'agric as a business' but this would never apply to politics. Nigeria may or may not divide but the Igbo will never smell the Predidency. can you tell us why that is a "bad" thing? An Igbo not getting the presidency, that is. I do not understand what the fuss is all about... OP included - its really no biggy, because, the Igbo man getting it will probably not be one all Igbos will want.... if APC throws up Okorocha... I am sure he will have to be acceptable to other Nigerians, and / therefore, could even be seen as a "stooge" of either the SW or North. So I really don't think Presidency should be what Igbos should be canvassing for... because I surely feel that when it happens, it will come and go, and we'll all see that nothing really was different, had he been, say, a TIV or Idoma president. (hope I am wrong shaa). As for the part of your post calling Igbos names... can you tell us the state where "stomach infrastructure" decided the votes of the masses? Are you a hypocrite? |
